Chapter 909: Mission completed

"I, Cren, the tribe leader of the Tailed spirit fox tribe acknowledges you and my master and keep my tribe in your hands in the hope that you will guide us in the right direction in the future, I swear under the presence of the holy heavens of the five elemental world to follow any order from him without any hesitation.

Without any surprise, the tribe leader Cren kneeled on one knee as he acknowledged Ajax as his master.

'Rumble'

The acknowledging ceremony didn't stop there as many dark clouds started gathering right above the heads of Ajax and the tribe leader Cren.

The phenomenon was similar to the one that happened at the Demon fox tribe.

Also, compared to the phenomenon in the Demon fox tribe, this current phenomenon was a little weak; however, earlier, it was two tribe leaders who swear their allegiance to him.

'Swoosh'

Since he had already experienced the pain from the lightning flash that leaves a tattoo on his body, Ajax wanted to be ready when it hits him.

'Aargh'

However, before he could look at the sky, a powerful lightning flash struck Ajax as he collapsed to the ground while letting out a low groan.

Just as Ajax fell to the ground, he got a couple of system notifications that made Ajax bitterly shake his head.

'You said that same thing when I asked you about it earlier.'

Ajax scoffed at the system as he looked at his new tattoo.

Unlike the previous two tattoos, the new one looked a little different and more powerful. Also, there were seven tails with a fox head in the front.

'Ding,

Congratulations to the host for successfully completing the mission 'Conquer the Western fox lands'.

'Huh?'

While Ajax was observing his new tattoos, he once again received a system notification; however, this time, the system notification made him frown a little.

That's right!

He frowned when he saw the system notification that was informing him about the mission completion.

'Are there no unevolved spirit beasts in the Western fox lands?'

Nevertheless, soon, he revealed an excited smile on his face before asking the system about it.

When the system gave him the mission to 'Conquer the Shixato wilds', he had to ask his contracted spirit beasts and their tribes to clear them out which took him a lot of time.

So, Ajax thought he had to do the same for the Western fox lands; however, who would have thought the system would already conclude the mission as completed.

'Ding,

Currently, the system detected there are not powerful unevolved spirit beasts in the Western fox lands. So, the mission will be deemed as completed.

'Oh'

Ajax nodded his head and understood what the system was saying. So, he didn't bother to ask any more questions on it; instead, he asked, 'So, what about the reward?'

Other than going back to the Purple stone world to enter the Sacred Pool of the Royal family, Ajax had another reason why he wanted to complete the mission  'Conquer the Western fox lands' and it was for the mission reward.

That's right!

The mission reward is so tempting for Ajax, he wanted to complete the mission. Other than tempting, he needs that reward to increase his cultivation.

'Ding,

The reward has already been sent to the host's inventory. Please check it.

'Really?'

Ajax was surprised; however, before he could check his inventory, the tribe leader Cren came to help Ajax stand up from the ground.

'Swoosh'

"I want to take some rest."

After standing up, Ajax summoned back all his elemental spirits before informing the tribe leader Cren that he wants to take a rest.

"Yes, Master. Please follow."

The tribe leader Cren nodded his head respectfully before bringing Ajax to his mansion and gave a huge room for him to rest.

Along the way, Ajax spoke a few words to the other tribe leaders.

"If you need anything, you can just call me, Master."

After bringing Ajax to a room, the tribe leader Cren left the room silently. 

"Now, I can check the reward."

Ajax was excited for the reward as he opened his inventory.

'This must be the reward.

In the inventory, Ajax saw a single black feather that he had never seen in the past. So, he thought it was the reward and with a thought that black feather appeared in his hand.

'Appraise'

As soon as Ajax said that, the complete information about the black feather appeared in front of him.

'Tribe leader, when did you learn the cultivator's law?'

'You have hidden it very well, tribe leader. I am excited to be a member of the tailed spirit fox tribe.'

'Tribe leader Cren, can you explain about your cultivator's law?'

'Old Cren, from the looks of it, you must have learned the cultivator's law more than a year or so, right?'

'Yeah. I guess, his cultivator's law must have already reached level 2.'

Hearing tons of questions from everyone, the tribe leader Cren could not help but laugh out loud as he replied to the two tribe leaders Deon and Errol first.

"Yes. It's been exactly one year and one month when I suddenly gained enlightenment into the cultivator's law. Soon, I entered into closed seclusion to continuously learn more about it and increased its level to level 2 in a year."

While saying those words, the tribe leader Cren was very proud.
