The reason he raised his brows while looking at Necros and his summons was he felt that Necros' summons were even more powerful than he thought.

'How can a level 1 undead general kill a level 1 undead elite general assassin,' Ajax continued to stare at Necros and his summons.

Deducting 9000 units of the essence of nature and filling it for the re-entry into the battle tower.

While he was staring at Necros, he received the expected system notifications informing about the deduction of the essence of nature and the amount of the essence of nature in his spirit consciousness.

After killing and absorbing all the undead assassins, Necros snapped his thin fingers and ordered his summons.

As soon as he ordered them, all the 10 undead general realm warriors disappeared into thin air.

After summoning back his summons, Necros asked Ajax while walking towards him.

From Ajax's earlier stare, Necros guessed that Ajax had something in his mind regarding him and his summons. So, he asked with a slight smile on his long mouthed face.

'Yes. How can your summons be very powerful to kill an elite general undead assassin?'

Ajax looked at Lewis and others who were still in shock after seeing the prowess of Necros' summons and transmitted his voice to Necros' head.

In return to Ajax's question, Necros' revealed an eerie smile as he continued, 'It was only a temporary boost for them as I gave my power to them which increased their battle prowess for some time.'

'Oh. So, that's why you looked very weak when you ordered them to devour the undead assassins. No wonder, your summons are powerful,' Ajax understood how Necros' summons were that strong with only level 1 undead general warrior cultivation.

'Moreover, these undead assassin's are not as strong as a common elite general and their skills are not powerful enough to escape from here. Overall, they are not true undead assassins...maybe some forcefully created them,'

While Ajax nodded his head, Necors revealed some more facts about the undead assassins that made Ajax raise his brows.

'Forcefully created?' Ajax closed his eyes for a moment and guessed the origins of these undead assassins and who had the motive to kill him.

'In the Zrochester province, I only have a feud with two powers. One of them is the 'Assassin sect' and the other is 'Hammergust' family. 

There is no way 'Hammergust family' is strong enough to have these undead assassins and even if they have those undead assassins they would have not sent them to kill me for mocking their young masters. So, it is assassin sect that wants me dead,'

Ajax opened his eyes as he concluded the mastermind of this event. 

'But, why do they want to kill me all of a sudden?'

It's been a while since he killed the twelve groups of disciples from the assassin sect. So, Ajax wondered what made them attack him in such an open place where everyone could see.

'Whatever… From now on I need to be careful even in open places too,' Ajax silently thought to himself and at the same time he clenched his fists while thinking, 'Damn you assassin sect, I thought to give you some time to enjoy yourselves but you want to kill me. Well then, I am successfully triggered. I am coming to you.'

While he was in the room, he thought to wait until the disciple selection event by the six vagrant cultivators; however, after today's incident, he didn't want to waste any more time and wanted to take some revenge against them.

'I think it is about my revenge,' Ajax guessed that the new mission would be regarding the revenge he w just thought about it.

Just when Ajax thought to check the new series mission, he heard Edmond's anxious voice.

Earlier, Edmond, Udo and Darbaudr went to the mercenary guild when the guild master called them for something. After taking some items from the guild master and leaving the mercenary guild, Darbaudr informed them that Ajax was in some kind of trouble and they hurriedly rushed here only to see a black-robed elemental spirit and perfectly alright Ajax.

"Some undead assassins tried to sneak attack me,"

Ajax paused his intention to check the new mission and turned towards Edmond and answered in a bitter smile on his face.

"Huh? Undead assassins?"

Edmond and Udo frowned when they heard Ajax's answer and glanced at Necros.

"Only the top three sects and the royal family can make the undead assassins and other undead beings. So, one of the top powers wants you dead,"

Udo slowly said as he continued to stare at Necros because he had many questions regarding that elemental spirit.

"Maybe news about you being reaching the elite commander realm in such a short time might have reached to them and since you are with me, they wanted to kill you,"

Edmond exactly didn't know who wanted to kill Ajax; however, he guessed the motive behind the assassination attempt.

Edmond thought to himself that he was the reason for that assassination attempt as he had a feud with the top sects.

"Don't worry Captain Edmond. As long as an elite general realm cultivator doesn't come to kill me, I can be safe with my dark elemental spirit, Necros,"

Ajax could see the worry on Edmond's face and asked him not to worry.

Moreover, he also introduced Necros to him.
