However, when they saw a young man trying to destroy their plans along with blaming them for injuring an old man, they could not take it and rushed to kill Ajax.

Ajax revealed a slight smile as he asked the incoming royal shadow.

"So what? Try dodging my attack first before smiling."

Seeing the smile on Ajax's face, the royal shadow that was rushing towards them became even more angry as he used his dagger to cut through Ajax.

However, before the dagger could touch Ajax, Ajax disappeared from his place and appeared beside Princess Daphne.

"Princess Daphne, as I promised, I brought your contracted spirit beast in one piece."

Pointing at the mutated spirit crane, Ajax spoke with Princess Daphne without bothering the royal shadows.

Princess Daphne could not say thank you to Ajax as she glared at the royal shadows and shouted, "What the hell are you doing? Why are you attacking my friend?"

"Princess Daphne, how can he be worthy to befriend you? Please move aside and let us do our job."

The leader of the group frowned when he saw Ajax use 'Teleport' very easily; however, he knew that it was only petty tricks that would not last for much longer.

Before Princess Daphne could finish her words, all the royal shadows rushed towards Ajax to kill him before Ajax could speak any other words.

'Halo, freeze them.'

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax summoned his time elemental spirit Halo and as soon as he was summoned, he directly used his first skill 'Time halt'.

Except for Ajax, everyone, including Princess Daphne froze as Ajax looked at all the royal shadows.

Aja shrugged as he didn't bother to explain everything to her because his focus was on the old man, who was unconsciously lying on the ground.
