Sasuke arrived in his courtyard.

"Elder Brother," Jūgo called out.

"Jūgo," Sasuke responded.

"Congratulations on your promotion today," Jūgo said.

"Mm!" Sasuke nodded.

"Jūgo," Sasuke called out.

"Mm?" Jūgo looked at Sasuke.

"Come,"

"there's a place we must go to," Sasuke said following which he walked into the house and placed his Gunbai Uchiwa on the floor against the wall.

"Let's go," Sasuke said.

"Mm!" Jūgo nodded.

The two left the house in the direction of the village gates.

Naruto stared at Hiruzen.

"Old Man," Naruto called out.

"Hmm…?" Hiruzen looked at Naruto.

"What was that announcement about from earlier?" Naruto asked.

"Haha,"

"That one?"

"It's a bait for the Akatsuki to send their members while also bait for the other countries to show their reactions to the alliance and other matters," Hiruzen smiled.

(Whoosh!) Jiraiya and Orochimaru appeared.

"Finally finished with that Book signing event," Jiraiya said.

("Better not tell Pervy-sage about me seeing Kakashi-sensei's face,")

("Especially Sasuke and Sakura too,") Naruto thought following which he spotted Orochimaru.

"Pervy-sage, Orochimaru, Where you guys goin?" Naruto asked.

"Now that Orochimaru is supposed to be confined within the village, I need to go along with him to the sound village to clean up a few things before they get messy," Jiraiya said.

Naruto then understood that Orochimaru had quite the amount of subjects which were left unattended over the past two days.

"What about the other hideouts?" Naruto asked.

"We are going to look into that as well, though it might take some time to finish everything," Jiraiya said.

"I could have just stayed in the Sound Village considering that you allowed me to be there in the future, but right now it might be a bit too dangerous for them to exist without my presence, so I have to abandon whatever I have developed over the past few years," Orochimaru said.

Naruto looked at Orochimaru, following which he approached Jiraiya and handed over his kunai.

"You may have changed,"

"But that is your village after all,"

"I can't help but think that you might have a few traps to outsmart us, In any case just know that I can teleport when the moment calls for it," Naruto warned Orochimaru.

Orochimaru gave Naruto his usual smile.

(Whoosh!) The two left the place.

Hiruzen thought back to the time he declared he would kill Orochimaru.

But Orochimaru's words to him before departure had him confused.

"Do you think I am a good Hokage?" Hiruzen asked.

"Everyone has their flaws, Lord Third, Even from my experience I can say that no one can ever achieve that ideal character of a Hokage as everyone has their own belief and version of a Hokage…" Naruto said as he thought back to the time Sasuke had declared that he would become a Hokage and would also destroy the Feudal lord system.

"Naruto,"

"I can confidently say you were a better Hokage than I was, at the very least you did not make the same mistakes that I did," Hiruzen said.

(Whoosh!) Sasuke and Jūgo appeared.

"Naruto,"

"Where's Gaara?" Sasuke asked.

"Jūgo,"

"Sasuke,"

"You guys are late,"

"Gaara and everyone else left just a few minutes ago," Naruto said.

"I see…" Sasuke sighed.

"Did Haku and Zabuza leave as well?" Sasuke asked.

"Whoah, I forgot they came yesterday," Naruto was surprised.

"Do you know where they are?" Sasuke asked.

"Wait, let me scan," Naruto said following which he activated his sage mode.

After a moment of silence, Naruto detected their location.

"They are standing near the chūnin exam arena," Naruto said.

"Let's go," Sasuke said.

Naruto looked at Hiruzen.

"See ya later Old Man," Naruto waved.

"Mm!" Hiruzen acknowledged as he turned back too.

Near a particular tree outside the Chūnin exam arena…

Haku and Zabuza were near a particular tree.

Zabuza stood beside Haku while Haku was kneeling in front of an unnamed grave,

"May your soul rest in peace," Haku prayed.

Meanwhile…

Zabuza thought back to the time the duo had encountered the boy on their way out of the village, only to know that the boy, when grown up, had fallen here in the Hidden Leaf Village as an enemy.

(Whoosh!)

Sasuke, Naruto and Jūgo had arrived.

"Haku, Zabuza-san," Naruto called out.

"Brat," Zabuza stared at Naruto who ran towards the two.

However, internally he had just remembered that Naruto was addressed as the Seventh Hokage.

"Naruto," Haku also turned back.

"What are you guys doing?" Naruto asked, following which he noticed the gravestone.

"The person here was from my village before,"

"He was a part of the clan that could use their bones to fight," Haku said.

"Kimimaro," Sasuke, Jūgo and Naruto reacted.

"Eh, you guys know the boy's name? " Haku and Zabuza asked.

Jūgo however bowed down before the grave while tears silently slipped out.

A few moments later,

Jūgo woke up and thanked Zabuza and Haku for taking care of Kimimaro's burial.

"Are you guys leaving?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, We have to go back in time for work since our holidays are about to get over,"

"How's old man Tazuna and his Family?" Naruto asked.

"They are doing good,"

"The bridge, in fact, is named after you," Haku said.

"Eh, are you serious?" Naruto asked.

"Mm!"

"It's called The Great Naruto bridge," Haku smiled.

"Hehe," Naruto laughed.

Soon the duo said their farewells and left the village.

Naruto looked at Sasuke and Jūgo,

"So what are you guys doing?" Naruto asked.

"I am helping Jūgo get his own things, since he is staying over at my place," Sasuke replied.

"I see…" Naruto said.

"We'll be off then," Sasuke said as he left with Jūgo.

"See you at the dinner Sasuke," Naruto waved.

"Mm!" Sasuke nodded.

In a room…

Kakashi sat next to Gai's bed.

"Your Six gates power ended up being a warmup for Naruto," Kakashi said.

"He's too strong," Gai sighed as he thought back to Lee's reactions upon seeing Naruto and Sasuke improve drastically in the one month period.

However, what made him sadder was a promise he made which would, in fact, turn into a burden for Lee if he were to stick to it now…

"Naruto-kun may have surpassed you and Neji now…"

"But don't forget, you are at the springtime of your youth, you can still exceed his growth during this period if you put your entire being to the test!" Gai gave a thumbs up accompanied with a huge smile which instantly brightened up Lee's emotions.

"Gai-sensei…" Lee's eyes were almost overflowing with tears.

"Just leave your training to me and watch the match peacefully," Gai said.

("Will you be able to achieve that dreams of yours…?") Gai sighed.

*Door Opens*

"Gai-sensei!" A voice called out.

("That voice…") Gai turned towards the door.

"Lee!" Gai sprang up from the bed and immediately hugged him.

"The surgery was a success," Lee said.

"Thank God!" Gai murmured as tears appeared from his eyes.

Gai looked at Kakashi.

"Kakashi,"

"Today's entire treat will be on me!" Gai announced.

"Tsunade-sama told me that I could start training from tomorrow onwards," Lee smiled.

In a training field away from the village…

Naruto and Konohamaru stood opposite to each other in the evening sun,

"Is your opponent a boy or a girl?" Naruto asked.

("Now then, It's time to hit the stores for some research work…") Konohamaru thought as he left the field as well.

The table had four sides with four people sitting opposite to each other.

Naruto to Lee,

Sasuke to Neji,

And Sakura to Tenten.

Kakashi stood up.

"Team Kakashi would like to congratulate Team Gai for Lee's Successful surgery and recovery,"

"Congratulations!!," Kakashi and his team clapped.

Gai stood up,

"Team Gai would like to congratulate Naruto and Sasuke for their promotion and Sakura for her first surgery which was a success,"

"Congratulations!!" Gai and his team clapped for Kakashi's team.

Soon the food arrived, and everyone started to dig in.

Lee, in particular, was so happy that he ate a lot.

"Gai, you…" Kakashi was speechless.

Lee placed the bottle on the table.

"Thanks, Gai-sensei…" Lee came to a stop.

Gai looked at the bottle only to see the character for 'sake,'

"Oh...Lee..." it was after seeing Naruto's memories flash at that moment that he had realized that he had,
