34 Chapter 34 Moving Forward!

"Hey, Naruto." Minato said.

Naruto looked at his father, he didn't want to cry, but he couldn't help it as tears came down his face.

"Minato!" Kurama growled, as he slammed his claws against the cage.

"Why don't you come over here so I can tear you apart!"

"Scary, but that makes me not want to go over there even more." Minato replied.

Then he looked over at Naruto again.

"Why don't we go somewhere more private so we can talk uninterrupted." Minato smiled as he snapped his fingers together, bringing them into a new space.

Minato stared at Naruto for a moment in silence. He smiled as he looked at the boy in front of him. Just as he was about to speak, Naruto had rushed over and grabbed hold of him in a hug. Both surprising him and making him happy that his son was hugging him.

"Naruto, I-" Minato began.

"You don't need to say anything, I already know." Naruto interrupted.

Minato looked at Naruto with slight confusion appearing on his face. "You already know? What do you already know?" Minato asked.

"Everything, I know about who attacked the village when Kurama attacked, I know about mom and you and-" Naruto got caught on his own words as his own emotions were making it difficult for him to find the words he wanted to say.

He took a breath to calm himself before he spoke again.

"Actually, I'm from the future, I already know what's going to happen." Naruto said.

Minato stared at Naruto in surprise as he listened to Naruto begin rambling. He'd seen Naruto growing up all this time, and he had noticed a sudden change occur in him. Especially when he witnessed Naruto use the Rasengan without being taught.

"I know it sounds crazy, and you might not believe what I'm saying, but-" Naruto began to ramble.

Suddenly, Minato hugged Naruto embracing him tightly.

"You don't need to explain anything to me, Naruto…" Minato smiled at him.

Naruto stared back at Minato in surprise.

"You… Believe me?" Naruto asked.

"Of course!" Minato grinned.

"What kind of parent would I be if I didn't believe my own son!"

Naruto stared at Minato in surprise before he suddenly broke out into a grin and laughed. Minato smiled in response as he watched Naruto.

"Of course, I've also been able to see everything you experienced up to now. So, I could tell something changed within you."

"But why don't you tell me everything you've experienced." Minato suggested.

Naruto nodded and he began describing how the original timeline went. Starting from the Sand's attack on the leaf, all the way to the events of The Fourth Great Ninja War and finally to when he died after facing off against Sasuke one last time. Then he explained everything he went through after being brought back in time by Hateshi.

"You've been through a lot Naruto; I couldn't be any prouder than I am right now!" Minato grinned.

Naruto stared at Minato as he blinked back tears of happiness as he grinned.

"Naruto, I know that you're worried about making the wrong decisions. But don't worry, you were able to save the world before, and I'm sure you'll be able to do it again." Minato smiled.

"How can you be so sure though? I might mess something up-" Naruto replied.

"You won't, because you're my son! I believe you'll make the right decisions, just keep doing what you've always done." Minato interrupted.

Naruto looked down. "I thought I was ready to face this, but I still can't help feeling doubt about everything I do."

"It's something we all face Naruto, we never know if what we're doing is the right thing, but we have to keep going despite of our doubts and fears." Minato smiled.

Naruto looked up to see his father smiling back at him.

"You just have to make the choices you won't regret, that's all we can do."

Naruto grinned and nodded his head. "You're right…."

"Now, I'll fix up the seal this time and reverse the transformation, I have faith that when the time comes, you'll be able to befriend Kurama again. I believe you'll be able to change the future for the better Naruto." Minato spoke as he placed his hand on Naruto's stomach and twisted his hand as the seal was repaired.

Then he slowly began disappearing as he pulled Naruto into one last hug before he vanished.

"Looks like my time is up now…"

"I am sorry for placing this burden on you Naruto, but I always believed you could handle it."

Naruto hugged Minato back as he nodded. "I know."

"You've grown up to become a splendid ninja Naruto." Minato said as tears started forming around his eyes.

I only wish I could have been with you as you grew up… Kushina, our son has grown up, I don't think there's anything we need to worry about. But thank you for bringing him into this world. Minato thought as his emotions overwhelmed him. His tears fell onto Naruto as Minato's body grew increasingly more faint.

Minato vanished into light particles as Naruto looked up, he touched his cheek which still had a single tear drop left behind by Minato. Thanks, dad! Naruto thought to himself as he clenched his fist. Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked over and saw Hateshi.

"Feeling better?" Hateshi asked.

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, I do."

"Good, now it's time to take care of the situation happening outside." Hateshi reminded.

"Right." Naruto slammed his fists together.

"I'll deal with The Construct this time, and afterward, I'll teach you the seal I use, that way you can handle them in the future. Make sure you pay attention again." Hateshi spoke.

Naruto nodded his head in understanding.

Right as the situation was looking most dire, as The Nine-Tails was almost fully formed, smoke appeared hiding the fox's form. Everyone watched the scene with tension as they tried to make out what was hidden within the smoke.

Soon, the smoke cleared revealing Naruto's figure with his eyes closed.

Sarutobi and Jiraiya both breathed out a sigh of relief after confirming Naruto's appearance, but still remained vigilant toward any movement toward Orochimaru and The Construct.

Suddenly, Naruto (Hateshi) was behind The Construct and threw a punch, sending it flying straight into the sky.

WHAT!? The three shinobis exclaimed inwardly.

Naruto (Hateshi) opened up his eyes, revealing them to be pitch black as he grinned widely.

"Ah, I missed this feeling! Let's enjoy it as much as we can today!" Naruto (Hateshi) spoke.

Before anyone could react, Naruto (Hateshi) appeared in front of Orochimaru.

"I have some things I'd like to discuss with you, so don't go anywhere." Naruto (Hateshi) nonchalantly spoke, as he twisted his body and kicked Orochimaru in the head, launching him toward the rock wall in the distance.

Jiraiya and Sarutobi both stared at Naruto in amazement. They were baffled by the sudden change in him. Now I know what Kakashi had meant on that report, Sarutobi thought to himself. This is similar to what that kid attempted when we first met at the hot springs, but it's on a whole new level. Jiraiya remembered to the time when he first met Naruto in the bath.

Naruto (Hateshi) raised his arm and caught a foot, causing a crater to form around him as his body sunk into the ground.

"Patience, let me have some fun, I'll deal with you in due time, but I'm currently teaching at the moment." Naruto (Hateshi) spoke.

The Construct grimaced as it let out a howl and began throwing even more punches and kicks toward Naruto (Hateshi). Who deafly deflected all of the blows as they came raining down on him.

"You're really quite lively now, what about before? Is it because of my existence? Am I that despised?" Naruto (Hateshi) grinned as he grabbed a hold of The Constructs leg and threw him over his shoulder. The Construct was slammed into the ground and bounced back up into the air, allowing Naruto to round house kick The Construct in the gut, sending it flying backwards.

"All of you fight with intent, and you all subconsciously respond to it. If there's a high killing intent, it's even easier to react to it." Naruto (Hateshi) spoke aloud.

"Which is why you need to eliminate your own intent."

Naruto (Hateshi) rushed over to The Construct and jumped flipping over and kicking The Construct's head and slamming it into the ground.

Orochimaru picked himself up off the ground and watched with wide eyes at Naruto. He also payed close attention to Naruto's eyes. What are those eyes? Orochimaru wondered, before deciding that it was no longer time for him to still be around. He slowly began to move closer toward the shadows.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Naruto (Hateshi) spoke as he turned to look over at Orochimaru, causing him to halt in his steps.

Suddenly The Construct made a move against Naruto (Hateshi) as it's arm morphed into a blade as it swiped it toward his neck. Naruto (Hateshi) Leaned backwards dodging the blade, and kicked up, breaking the blade in half that The Construct had formed from it's arm.

"Just turning your limbs into bladed objects doesn't really help all that much, you even make it easier to break than leaving your arm how it is." Naruto (Hateshi) sighed in exasperation.

"This is why you should just be patient and wait for me to finish enjoying myself, now you've gone and ruined my fun!" Naruto (Hateshi) said in annoyance.

Then he pulled out a kunai and grabbed The Construct's limbs and impaled them into the ground. Then he placed his foot on top of it's back and held it in place.

Orochimaru turned back and glared at Naruto before chuckling. "Hoh, what an amusing child you are, but I've already overstayed my visit."

Then he turned around and rushed off. Naruto (Hateshi) looked over just in time to see Orochimaru rushing away and he shook his head.

Jiraiya and Sarutobi both had been distracted by Naruto's performance and had forgotten about Orochimaru, so they were a second late in responding to his sudden escape.

"Damn it!" Jiraiya cursed as he began to rush after Orochimaru.

"Jiraiya, stop!" Sarutobi called out.

Jiraiya turned around looking at The Hokage.

"That's enough, we don't have time to deal with Orochimaru, we must settle the current situation, the chunin exams will be stopped until further notice." Sarutobi announced.

Naruto (Hateshi) looked silently at the situation around him. Guess I better wrap things up over here, he thought.

Naruto (Hateshi) placed his hands together and gathered his chakra into his fingertips. A seal formed on each finger and he slammed his palms onto the construct.

<Eight Cardinal Direction Sealing Release>

The seals slowly covered The Constructs body, space began distorting around The Construct and cracks appeared. Soon the space shattered and a dimension opened up beneath The Constructs body as it fell in, shortly after, Naruto (Hateshi) Brought his hands together and concentrated as the space slowly restored itself to normal.

"That takes care of that." Naruto (Hateshi) mused before looking over in a specific direction.

Orochimaru had made some progress in escaping from the area, many new variables had appeared which caused him to rethink some of his plans going forward. Who knew the situation would turn out like this? He thought. However, as he was thinking about his plans, he was suddenly kicked in the head and sent flying toward the ground. He grunted and flipped around landing on his feet and he jumped backwards to gain some distance as he put up his guard.

Soon, he saw the figure of the person who attacked him, and it was none other than Naruto (Hateshi).

Orochimaru frowned slightly before grinning widely. "So, I can assume that you are not the child right now."

"How very astute of you Orochimaru. You are correct though; I am not Naruto. I decided to help him out of this situation in exchange for a few things." Naruto (Hateshi) smiled.

"Interesting, and what business do you have with me?" Orochimaru asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Simple, I understand that when it comes to the acquisition of bodies, you happen to be an expert on the matter." Naruto (Hateshi) answered.

"I see, and what kind of body would you like? I doubt many could compare with that of a jinchūriki's" Orochimaru grinned.

"It's not that simple Orochimaru, I don't want just any body, I want a body unique to me. Not just any body would do, even if it is a jinchūriki's body." Naruto (Hateshi) replied.

"Hoh, then you are talking about an artificial body?" Orochimaru asked.

"You could say that." Naruto (Hateshi) grinned.

"So why should I fulfil this request?" Orochimaru asked.

"Because you find the idea itself intriguing, and if you don't do what I ask, I'll kill you. Unlike Naruto, I have no attachment to the life of a simple human such as yourself." Naruto (Hateshi) grinned with closed eyes.

Suddenly Orochimaru was surrounded by a terrifying killing intent, it wasn't something that came from any creature he'd encountered before. His eyes were wide as he stared at the figure in front of him.

"You know, I mentioned that one should hide their intent while fighting. But I must say, it can be useful from time to time." Naruto (Hateshi) nonchalantly spoke.

Orochimaru shivered slightly as he unconsciously took a step back. This thing isn't from this world, Orochimaru realized, it doesn't belong here… just where did this child find it? Orochimaru had many thoughts swirling within his head, but he managed to keep them concealed behind a neutral expression on his face.

"It would seem that I have no reason to refuse your request." Orochimaru suddenly said.

"Good! I would hate for things to become messy. I would like you to remain quiet until you finish it, I'll find you when the time is right." Naruto (Hateshi) replied before dispersing.

Orochimaru then exhaled a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding in. He looked at his hand that was shaking in from of him. Hehehe, interesting, I'm actually scared of that thing… very interesting… Orochimaru thought to himself as he began laughing. He then began traveling into a new direction than before.

Naruto (Hateshi) suddenly smiled as he received the information from the clone he had created to go after Orochimaru. Looks like things are going well, then I guess it's time for me to let Naruto have his body back now, he thought. The black in Naruto's eyes slowly receded, revealing his blue eyes once again. Then he blinked them as Naruto finally came back into control, he looked around the area and saw Sarutobi and Jiraiya walking toward him.

Looks like it's finally over now. Naruto thought to himself as he began walking toward the two shinobis.
