While he was distracted, someone was looking at his notes over his shoulder. "What letters are these Eiji-chan?" She was surprised. It didn't seem to be random, rather, it was very well written and concise.

'Oh shit!!'

"These are top secret ninja codes that I'm creating!" Eiji said and looked deeply into her eyes.

"Really? Incredible!! Teach me!" She asked with a wide smile plastered on her face, it looked like she had won a new toy.

"Ehhh ..." he tried to find some excuse for not teaching it but he couldn't find any!

Kushina continued to look at him with great expectations without even blinking her eyes at any time. In the end, he gave in to her.

"Okay, but another day. It's late and I have to go kushina-nee" he grabbed his things from the table and turned to go.

"Okay, come tomorrow to learn more fuinjutsu!"

"OK!"

He left Kushina's home and made his way home.

"I'm home" he announced his arrival.

"Welcome Eiji, Kakashi has arrived," sakumo said.

I don't know if his situation was getting worse, but lately, he was distracted or forgot to do his activities ... It was too weird.

"What is it?" he pointed to something in the middle of his legs.

"A rabbit obviously" He replied as if it were obvious.

"But why do we have a rabbit?" I got confused.

"It is not a rabbit, there are two. This is yours, Kakashi also has one" he smiled.

"Why? I don't want one." He absolutely rejected Sakumo's offer.

"You will take care of him every day from now on, it is not negotiable." His stern expression left no room for discussion.

"Ok ..." And, so he got a pet to take care of.

Daily life was not very different. Sometimes he bothered Kakashi in his training with Minato. Or spent my time with Kiyomi. Life was just too good. It's been 4 months like that.

"Dad I'm going out," he said while putting his ninja sandals on his feet. It was quite comfortable even, But he really missed a shoe.

"Where are you at this time? It is already 7 pm" Sakumo was very protective of his children, especially in these times when there are countless conflicts, someone could kidnap their children.

They may be geniuses and even strong for their age, but against a jonin or Anbu, it would be an easy target.

"I'm going to go to Guy's house, he's disappeared lately" Yes, the loudest and most energetic being just disappeared.

"I see, don't stay too late or I will pick you up"

"I am no longer-" Eiji stopped midway, realizing that he was going to talk nonsense and immediately shut himself up.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing, I just said it could take a while there. Don't worry, haha" he laughed and headed towards the guy's house, which by the way wasn't far.

Their house was average, nothing too special.  There were two basic floors and a very large yard. To his surprise, he walked to the door and knocked.

Soon a man appeared, Duy was a tall, well-built man with very noticeable hair. He had raised bones on the sides of his face, a slightly bulbous nose, dark and light hair, and thick eyebrows. His hair was cut in a bowl style that was combed to the left and also sported a bristly mustache with a small goatee and stubble. He wore green overalls, striped leggings and oranges, and a scarf around his neck.

"Do you need anything young man?" His smile looked like billiards at night. He was the kind of man you couldn't hate.

"I'm Hatake Eiji, I'm Guy's friend. I haven't seen him these days, so I came here to see him" he answered honestly. The man in front of him studied him momentarily and simply nodded.

"Guy he ..." He hesitated to say.

"What happened to Guy?"  It seems that things are not so simple.

"You are Hatake Kakashi's brother, correct?"

"Yes?" He blinked in confusion.

"I see ..." He looked at me for a moment.

"I had a disagreement with Guy a while ago ... I expected him to come back after a while, but he still hasn't." His tone was sad and bitter. For a man who lived for his son, it must hurt a lot.

"Could you tell me what happened?"

"He lost confidence in himself," Duy said sadly. He encouraged his son every day, constantly pushing Guy forward, making him do his best, and raising his morale when upset.

"I started scolding him but ... he ran away into the forest." He put his hand on his waist while looking at the sky.

"Did you know? When he met Hatake Kakashi, the genius, he decided to make him his rival and his goal. But on his first attempt to enter the academy, he failed, it destroyed his confidence." He was proud of his son, but it made him sad.

"The doctors said that he went into depression. But I was not discouraged, I went there and gave Guy courage. He trained hard, day after day without any rest. It is finally he managed to enter the same class as his declared rival" He gave a faint smile of pride.

"But then he found out that there was someone better than kakashi."  He looked at Eiji and pointed his finger.

"You"

"He worked so hard, and something bigger than his goal came up. He was a little discouraged but I encouraged him to continue. He was getting better every day, but that was not enough. You graduated."

"So he trained even harder and I helped him, but I can only do it for him. And he failed his graduation test 3 times. I started scolding him ... If he tries harder he can do it. I know it!"

His look was fierce and full of certainty and confidence in his son. His words carried an unshakable conviction.

"But he lost faith in himself and ran from home"

And then he pointed to a certain direction in a forest.  "When something happens to him, it usually goes in that direction."

"So I'll go over there, bye Dai-san" he waved his hand and ran through the forest jumping between the branches.
