38 Gama-who??

The day of the tournament had finally come, and Jin was sleeping soundly on his bed. He usually woke up at seven every day, but he was exhausted from yesterday and overslept.

The healing abilities of a Jinchuuriki were not to be underestimated, as, after a mere one night of sleep, he was mostly recovered and ready to go.

"CAW! WAKE UP! CAW!" A crow made its way inside through the partially opened window in Jin's room, and it looked exactly the same to the one that took Jin to the sacred hall last time.Opening its mouth, it started shouting as loud as it could.

"Oh god... Shut up!" Jin got pissed as he rubbed his eyes. He felt a massive headache coming on as the crow continued its alarm function.

"I said shut up! I'm awake already!" In anger, jin picked up a kunai that was conveniently placed on his bed-side table and threw it at the crow. It showed fear, but couldn't do anything about the situation. As it closed its eyes, it resigned itself to its fate.

A bang was heard, and the crow opened its eyes once more, only to realize it was okay. It looked up and saw a kunai indented in the wall.

"Leave. I might change my opinion." Jin looked at the crow with a murderous glare, he hated being woken up.

"CAW! THANK YOU SO MUCH!" CAW!" With a final shout, it sped through the window it came from and disappeared from sight. Jin finally relaxed and let out a sigh. He got up and went to brush his teeth soon after.

When he was done preparing, he went to Karasu's, since they had organized a meeting there at around this time. He had to admit that without the crow he wouldn't have made it on time.

"I'll have to treat it to something next time I see it." As he was thinking about the annoying crow, he got to his destination. A group of twenty crows or so were gathered around Karasu, some were big and some were small. None on Sojobo's level though.

As he got closer, Jin noticed that a small toad was standing on Karasu's shoulder. He thought for a second and made the connection, it was probably Mount Myoboku's guide.

"Jin! Took you long enough!" Karasu was a bit pissed but decided to let Jin go. He had been really exhausted because of yesterday's events. "Come on, we're about to leave."

"How long will the journey be, Karasu-san?" Jin made his way through the crows and stood in front of Karasu. The little frog on his shoulder was of a greenish-blue color and had big, yellow eyes. It looked quite amiable, as it smiled at him.

Before Karasu could answer his disciple's question, the frog took the initiative and answered the question before he could.

"We will get there in about two days, the crow's ability to fly coupled with my knowledge of the secret passageways will make the trip safe and easy." The Toad raised its palm as it spoke, and smiled at Jin once more. "My name is Gamahiro, Nice to meet you Jin Uchiha!"

Jin opened his mouth in disbelief as he took a step back in surprise. Gamahiro?! One of Jiraiya's huge summons was this small?!

"I guess it makes sense... He should be young at this moment, like Gamakichi with Naruto." Jin thought to himself as Gamahiro looked at him with a confused look.

"What's with the reaction?"

"Ah, UHUM!" Jin cleared his throat and regained his composure before quickly thinking of a reply.

"Ni-nice to meet you, I was just surprised to see a toad talk...." Jin forced out a smile as he scratched his head. Gamahiro looked unconvinced but decided to ignore what happened. Jin sighed in relief.

"Alright Gamahiro-kun, let us head for Mount Myoboku! I can't wait to see that senile and old excuse for a toad, Gamamaru!" Karasu laughed out as he hopped on to one of the bigger crow's back and signaled for everybody else to do the same.

Jin shrugged and jumped up on the same crow as him, sitting right beside Karasu and Gamahiro. His face was filled with excitement.

"Hideki! Fugaku! I'm coming!"

As Jin mused to himself, the crow took flight with a powerful flap of its massive wings.

Back in the hidden leaf village, Danzo was sitting down on his chair as a couple of root members were all prostrating themselves before him. The room was dark, and one could barely see anything except for the people present.

"Tsk... Yuuto! Touma! I want both of you to keep tabs on the first's son at all times. Do not allow for anything to happen without informing me, I want all the details."

These two were his most talented subordinates, they were both respectively part of a noble clan. Yuuto was a Hyuuga while Touma was an Aburame.

"Hai, Danzo-sama!" They bowed once more before disappearing from sight.

Danzo sighed and looked towards his clenched fist.

The first's secret son was a huge and unexpected variable in Danzo's plans. His appearance had created another massive competitor for the position of future Hokage. With the kid's abilities and his lineage, people would start to adore him from day one.

"Grrr... I finally got lucky when the Uchiha brat disappeared, but now, instead of Madara's look-alike, I get the first's secret son in my way?! Is God playing a trick on me?!"

He was furious but soon cooled off. He would have to go about this with utmost care since the kid was not only guarded by the Senju, but Hiruzen as well. It would prove to be a difficult task to get rid of him.

"The rest of you! Dismissed! Get out of my sight!"

"HAI!"

A day and a half after Jin and the rest of the crew took off, they arrived at the foot of a mountain that was covered with trees. Gamahiro commanded the crow to land towards a small clearing that contained a beautiful pond in the middle.

The animals that were drinking off the pond quickly dispersed as the massive crow landed near it. Jin and Karasu hopped off along with Gamahiro and the rest of the crows.

"Okay, here we are." Gamahiro hopped towards the pond and landed on a beautifully green, giant water lily. Small ripples extended from it after he landed on the surface.

"All of you, hop on the lily, don't worry about it sinking!" Gamahiro smirked and signaled for them to jump.

Karasu was the first to do so and landed gracefully on the aquatic plant alongside Gamahiro. Jin observed as nothing untoward happened and then jumped on it, followed by the rest.

"Alright, don't move!" Gamahiro gathered some chakra and placed his hand on the lily, the plant reacted strangely as it changed to a purple color before forming a massive bubble that enveloped the group. Jin was curious and touched the bubble.

He felt resistance, and thus activated his eyes. What he saw was that the bubble was made of nature energy and could withstand quite the beating. A mere kunai could not make a dent in it.

"Wow, so cool!" Jin was interested, as he continued to analyze the lily's chakra structure. One thing he loved about being an Uchiha was that he could further understand how this world worked than what was shown in the anime or in the academy.

"We're about to leave, get ready." Gamahiro laughed, and commanded the bubble as it rolled into the water, it seemed to be denser as it directñly sunk inside and went deep down. Jin was stupefied, as he observed the wide variety of creatures that resided in the seemingly small pond.

There were toads, insects, and many other animals, Jin made sure to catch a sight of them all utilizing his eyes. Karasu looked at him with a smile, Jin was still only nine although he was so mature.

"SO COOL!" Interrupting Jin's thought process, Mikoto had star-shaped eyes as Jin got to see a new side of her. She was super interested, as she sat down cross-legged and enjoyed the show.

"It seems we do have some things in common after all..." jin smiled and resumed watching the pond ecosystem.

After a while of sinking, they reached a black hole. Jin felt weird chakra fluctuations coming from it and asked Fukasaku about it.

"It's a space-time formation. It will allow us to travel to mount Myoboku without wasting any time. We have similar ones in certain caves at Yatagarasu Canyon" Karasu seemed to be very experienced and explained patiently to Jin, who was surprised to see a formation of this caliber.

"Alrighty everyone, you might feel some nausea after this. Do not puke in the bubble!" Gamahiro smiled eerily as he guided the bubble into the hole.

Jin felt like he was weightless, as everything spun around him. His surroundings were replaced by huge patterns of colors that made him think he was experiencing a seizure. After a couple of seconds, everything went back to normal as the bubble surfaced out of another pond.

Jin really felt like puking, that experience was horrid.m Only Gamahiro and Karasu seemed to be fine as he and the other crows wanted to die.

"Kukukukuku... Once you've gone through these a couple of times, it'll be alright!" Karasu sent a mocking cackle toward's Jin.

"This old bastard... He's lived so long and is still so petty with a child?!" Jin cursed in his head as he started to feel better. Gamahiro then burst the bubble as they landed on water. Jin concentrated his chakra onto his feet while the crows all started flying.

"We've arrived! Welcome to Mount Myoboku!" Gamahiro laughed as he opened his arms in an attempt to tell them to look around and see the majestic landscape.

Jin moved his eyes and saw an otherworldly scene. The green sky was magnificent, while the tall mountains and water fountains, coupled with the oversized vegetation, made it a sight to remember. Jin felt like he was in a completely different world.
