16 Chapter 16: Ninja!

The days leading to the academy graduation exam went by quickly. Jin had helped out Fugaku and Hideki with their studies for the written exam.

Jin was very diligent, and him having an adult mind helped him in his academics. Always achieving perfect scores and being number one in his year.

The three of them had prepared more than enough and were ready for anything, as they reached the room where the written examination would take place. There, they saw Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru. Jin took the opportunity and introduced them to his cousins.

Jiraiya liked Hideki and Jin but disliked Fugaku's self-centered nature. Orochimaru quickly became friends with him though, as their interests matched.

Tsunade was blushing behind Jiraiya and didn't have the courage to outright speak out to Jin. He felt wronged, as he tried to strike up a conversation.

"Tsunade-san, are you ready for the exam? Do you want to see my notes?"

Tsunade nodded and accepted the notes as she went over them with Jin. She didn't really need this but she was happy to spend some time with him.

Jiraiya looked at them and had a brilliant idea. He grabbed Hideki and whispered to him.

"How about we prank those two? Now wouldn't that be funny?"

"Jiraiya-san, I'm not so sure about this... How about we-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Jiraiya summoned a small toad once again and had it run up to Tsunade. Hideki watched intently, his interest piqued.

The toad jumped onto Tsunade's still-growing chest, she looked at it with disgust as it reminded her of someone. The toad then spat out some water on her clothes. Revealing the outlines of some decently sized twin peaks

Jin and Tsunade's faces instantly went bloodshot, as they were both petrified. Jin couldn't shift his gaze from the sight in front of him.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Tsunade screamed and ran into the exam room early. She had never been so embarrassed in her whole entire life, as she conveniently sat on a chair that was close to the windows. She then waited for her clothes dry off with the sun.

Back outside, Jin was looking at the toad in confusion, as it smirked and hopped back to Jiraiya. He also smirked in the same exact way. Some people say a pet resembles their owner, so Jin couldn't help but laugh at the sight.

Some part inside of Jin, he was thankful for the meal. But he also felt weird because he had the mind of a thirty-something-year-old while Tsunade was only 11. He swore to himself that he would never touch a woman below the age of 18 in a sexual way. Never.

----------------------------------------------

An hour afterward, the proctors had finally arrived.

The head examiner for today was none other than Hiruzen himself, as he was intrigued by the super-talents coming this year.

He came along with two Chuunin ranked teachers from the school, one of them signaling for everybody to enter the written exam room.

After everybody entered, the doors were shut and people waited outside.

An hour and thirty minutes later, all of the students participating came out. Some happy, some sad. Jin and his little group were all enthusiastic, with only Jiraiya looking like he had swallowed a fly.

"AAAAAARGHHH.... I knew I should have studied..."

Tsunade sent a glare his way.

"Shut up Jiraiya, we all know you passed with flying colors. Stop calling for attention."

Having been discovered, Jiraiya laughed awkwardly as they walked towards the next examination zone with the rest.

They arrived in a spacious room, and the students were required to demonstrate the clone technique. All of them managed, and Jiraiya's group managed to create shadow clones including two from Orochimaru. Seeing this, Hiruzen's interest was piqued.

Hideki was next, and he summoned two shadow clones. Followed by Fugaku's three. The examiners and Hiruzen looked on with disbelief.

Jin then came up and summoned a total of four of them. Showing an unprecedented level of chakra control for his age. They had thought the three from earlier were freaks, but these three were not even human at this point.

Hiruzen was more than satisfied with the results, as he received the marks for the test. Sixth was Jiraiya, fifth was Hideki, in fourth place was Tsunade, and third was Fugaku. Second by just a little bit was a frustrated Orochimaru.

The top score, with full marks, was Jin. Orochimaru and Fugaku had set records themselves, but Jin was the first ever to get full marks. Being only 6.

After sending away those that failed, Hiruzen took front stage and once more gave a speech.

"All of you are now the leaves on top of the Konoha tree. As you grow, you will become part of the trunk and one day reach the roots. Remember, we are all together as a family, and we will strive to give a good foundation so that the future leaves do not wither! Let the will of fire drive your search for success and your love for the village, and now, young shinobi... You are all Konoha Ninjas!"

The crowd started cheering as Jin had heard the most emotional speech he had in his life. His hair stood on end as he thought... I am a ninja! Finally!

They all got their headbands, and Jin specifically asked for a black one. He had always thought it looked cooler.

As he put in his headband, all of the girls were watching attentively, including Tsunade, who's eyes were practically glued to Jin.

He tied it, and flicked his long hair up, leaving a little of it hanging on both sides of his face.

Some girls fainted while others cheered, as they also watched Fugaku and Hideki do the same. Jiraiya was jealous, so he kicked a stone while putting his hands in his pockets.

"Cheh! They're all too young anyways..."

"Tell yourself that Jiraiya, you will never be as successful as those three. Especially Jin."

Tsunade almost punched Orochimaru out of jealousy but thought back to how Jin said he liked girls who were gentle, as she held back and only slapped the back of his head.

"Hey! I didn't do anything!"

"Hahahahaha!"

"SHUT UP JIRAIYA, YOU WANT ONE TOO?"

Jiraiya shut his mouth and ran towards Jin who was touching his headband. They all left to Ichiraku's after some prompting by Hideki.

The six arrived and started eating. They were extremely happy, comparing headbands and making fun of each other. To Jin, this was real bliss.

After saying farewell to each other they went home to celebrate with their respective families.

----------------------------------------------

The next day, all if the passing examinees regrouped in a classroom, and waited for their sensei to arrive. All of the students left, leaving only the six from yesterday. The tension of maybe joining another team and not being together had been crushing. But now, they were happy.

This was too good to be a casualty. Something must have happened behind the scenes.

As they waited, two men made their way through the door. One of them not wearing the traditional Jōnin attire.

This was none other than Hiruzen himself, accompanied by the recent rising star of Konoha's military. Sakumo Hatake in the flesh.

The group of friends was flabbergasted as they looked at both. We're they going to be their senseis?

"Hello little ones, I am Hiruzen Sarutobi. You all already know me, so all I will say is... Jiraiya! Orochimaru! Tsunade! You three will be under my tutelage from now on!"

The three legendary Sannin, including Orochimaru, had grins on their faces. They were lucky to snatch the Homage as their sensei.

"See you later Jin!"

"Bye-bye!"

Jin waved goodbye to Tsunade as they hurriedly left. Leaving the three Uchiha brothers with Sakumo.

Not much was explained about Konoha's white fang, but he was said to be stronger than the Sannin at his peak. Jin was excited.

Sakumo smiled and signaled for them to accompany him.

"Where are we going?"

Hideki was curious.

"The roof."

Jin had flashbacks of team seven and smiled. It seems that the saying: like father, like son, was true after all.

When they reached the roof, the trio sat on a stairwell, while Sakumo stayed on the border.

"Names, likes, dislikes and life goals. Come on, you start."

He pointed at Hideki who thought for a moment before answering.

"Hideki Uchiha! I like many things, such as ramen and the feeling I get when helping others! I dislike getting hurt, and my goal is to become Hokage!"

Jin didn't know Hideki wanted to become Hokage, so this surprised him. He had always been well mannered and loved by all. Maybe he could reach it?.

"You next."

"My name is Jin Uchiha, I like fighting. My dislikes are Kumogakure ninjas. Especially the Raikage. As for my goal... To kill him and avenge my father."

As he said that, an unusual look appeared in his eyes. Just mentioning the Raikage made him reek of murderous intent. Hideki once more tapped him on the shoulder, snapping him out of it.

Sakumo was surprised. This kid had pluck, this meant he had potential.

Not waiting for the signal to speak, Fugaku introduced himself.

"Fugaku Uchiha, I like training and getting stronger, while I dislike losing. My goal is to defeat a certain someone."

Jin sneezed out of nowhere.

"Hahahahaha, I like you three. My name is Sakumo Hatake, I don't have any particular likes or dislikes. My goal is to be a great ninja."

"What a rip off!"

"How shameless."

As his cousins complained, Jin smiled. This was very similar to Kakashi's answer.

"Now then, let's get on with the real exam. Meet me at training ground number one at six AM tomorrow. Don't have breakfast and be early, you might puke it out."

"WHAT?!"

Hideki and Fugaku exclaimed in disbelief. Another test? Were they not genin already?
