Chapter 160: It's over!

The entire room was silent and the Emperor didn't seem ready to speak any time soon, yet no one dared complain or make a sound. They all watched in silence as the emperor gazed at the ceiling of the room for a while without saying a thing. His eyes occasionally darted around but it never went too far from the nobles.

"Show them" He finally said and instructor Han stepped forward.

He pulled out a luminous crystal and from it a beam of light shot into the air. The light soon formed what seemed like a screen and there everyone saw something they never expected. They watched as Lucien and Lukas darted around the forests throwing countless blows at each other while leaving the entire landscape in ruins.

Their actions were so swift and precise, it looked like a black bolt of lightning chasing after the white bolt of lightning. Even though Emperor Fei completely believes in Lucien, even he couldn't help but feel anxious when leaving the kid to fight against someone like Lukas. Lukas is someone even he acknowledged in the past, so not keeping an eye on Lucien while the fight takes place is not something he could do.

The nobles watched in complete shock since they never expected to see something like this. They always knew Lucien and Lukas always had bad blood but they never thought the duo would ever have the chance to settle scores. Klaus of the Lightborn clan was more intrigued than the rest since he wanted to see Lucien's true strength.

Bolts of black lightning struck towards the white flash ruthlessly but it couldn't hit even once! One moment Lukas is there and the next moment he's gone. Upon colliding with Lucien, Lukas felt like he struck an immovable mountain! He heard the cracking sounds of his bones and for the very first time, he realized something. All this while he has been fighting alone, but Lucien has never been alone!

He is struggling to subdue Lucien with his full power and is yet to take into account his beast associations or his spirit beast techniques! At this moment all he could think of is flee! His body jerked back in an attempt to increase the distance between them but Lucien chased after him tightly causing him to result in his ultimate escape skill.

"Shadowless flight" Lukas muttered as his toes lightly tapped the ground and the next moment he was gone!

"I am not letting you get away! Argo!!!" Lucien growled as the silver bird with the golden beak let out a loud cry as it rapidly flapped its wings creating countless twisters and hurricanes that covered over ten kilometers. The suction force was so intense that all forms of vegetation within the range of attack were pulled out of the ground and soon, Lukas's drifting figure could be seen struggling with the effects of Lucien's domain spell!

"Let's Go!" Lucien cried out as he leaped forward and the azure blue dragon above his head followed tightly. His eyes let out bright blue lights a dragon spear appeared in his hands, spinning uncontrollably.

Immense blue flames surged forward while the twisters and hurricane began converging in Lukas's direction. Everyone watching could tell that these are the final moments of the fight so they were all at the edges of their seats, saying silent prayers to whoever they supported. Meanwhile, Lukas frowned as he clasped his hand and a massive wind sphere appeared around him. Without making a single move, he watched as his wind sphere took in the entire attack and shook violently.

"The problem with the past glory martial technique is that gives you nothing special, no special technique, no special move, no unique ability… You are just like a newborn spirit realm master without a martial technique… Completely depending on your elements and nothing more… You lost!" Lucien's voice echoed all over the battlefields but he was cleverly hidden in all the chaos!

Soon the entire battlefield got darker as a black veil enveloped the entire battlefield, taking the shape of a massive dome!

With the vision of both the viewers and Lukas blocked a sense of fear spread in the hearts of everyone and only then did Lucien make his move. His body charged like lightning as he crossed a major distance between him and Lukas in just a second, appearing behind him almost instantly.

"You should be grateful you were killed with such an excellent technique!" Lucien's voice echoed in the dark room.

At that moment his eyes let out a black flash as his fists got covered by some sort of gray mist surrounded his fists and when he struck forward, he released countless after images of his fists striking different spots but at the same time.

"Haya-ken: Lightning speed fists!" Lucien growled but Lukas was no weakling.

His senses as a spirit realm master were amazing so he reacted the moment he felt the presence of someone behind him and went ahead block the attacks purely based on instincts and even went ahead to counter-attack!.

Like a balloon, the shadow popped and two figures could be seen standing face to face. Lukas had used the shift to change his hands and legs to claws, leaving Lucien covered in bloody cut wounds, meanwhile, Lukas had no injury at all!

It seems Lukas has won!
