Chapter 127: Libet empire arrives

Lucien's painful cries shook the hearts of all those who heard it in the city but since they couldn't see what was happening, the people could only wait silently while silently praying nothing serious has happened. Instructor Hai and the rest were meant to have left the city by now but because they were too engrossed in what was happening, they decided to wait behind and see the outcome of Lucien's actions!

A massive figure could be seen heading towards the city making people cheer but when they looked closely they saw the silver-haired city master covered in blood making them shiver!

Boom!

Rupture landed roughly but his eyes never left Lucien, people could see genuine worry the magic beast had for his partner.

"We did it kid.." Rupture said as it gently placed Lucien on the ground.

The silver-haired youth who once looked perfect and intoxicating was no different from a brutally beaten beggar now. His silver kimono had torn badly at many spots, his hair was scattered and in his hands was a broken blue dragon mask. Seeing Lucien struggle to get on his feet, the heart of many felt their heart skip a beat because even in this condition, he wore a charming smile on his face. He is just like the young charming hero many dream of!

"Hehehehe… You did most of the work… You kill Abok and Lanka… You are the hero of the day" Lucien said with a weak voice but Rupture laughed loudly in response while shaking his head!

" You saved me from the Abok when I got careless… You held your own against two king-tier magic beasts while I was busy with the Abok and you even killed Argo with one move… I think you are the star here… Well, it's not too shocking… You are a kid worthy to become my partner so this is expected" Rupture said.

Hearing Lucien's achievements from Rupture, people were stunned! They couldn't help but look at Lucien with a shocked look on their face. Just how strong is this kid?

Lucien finally got on his feet and pushed his silver hair back, revealing his bloodied face but even then his eyes were still glowing with power!

Warrior realm!

He broke into the warrior realm!

Wasn't he at the fourth level of the human realm before he left?

He jumped two levels!

Is that even possible?

Many questions were thrown around and only instructor Hai kept quiet and observed Lucien. He finally understood why the bright light appeared and why Lucien is hurt so badly. This meant he wasn't hurt because of his battle with the two king-tier magic beasts!

'Terrifying!' Instructor Hai commented with a frown on his face.

"We both benefited from this… You finally get to become an emperor tier beast with those three king-level beast cores in your hands" Lucien laughed lightly!

"Ha! Don't act like you didn't get anything…. Not only the double breakthrough, You now possess the strength of three king-tier magic beasts! I am sure right now you can be considered strong even amongst the powerful nobles!" Rupture laughed.

Hearing his words everyone's face turned fearful as they remembered the most important ability that they have forgotten! Lucien's beast assimilation ability allows him to attain the power and strength of all magic beasts that die around him. At this point they watched Lucien tear off his shredded shirt, revealing his buff body with three major tattoos visible. One was that of a serpent tattoo seen curling around his right hand. On his back was the large tattoo of the eagle and then on his abs was the image of the Lanka drawn boldly there.

Only at this point did people notice Lucien's shadow was not as simple as it seems. It did not reflect his body structure and looked rather strange but when they looked closely, they realized that his shadow was a cluster of all the magic beasts he had consumed so far.

"He is truly a monster" Instructor Hai said lightly.

Lucien was about to leave for his castle to rest but then a carriage could be speeding towards them. Seeing this he frowned and stared at the carriage coldly. Judging based on the fearful look on the face of the coachman, he knew someone important was coming for him.

Finally, the carriage stopped a few meters away from them and from it's a red-haired middle-aged man appeared. He wore red knight armor and in his hands was a scroll with the royal seal.

"You are?" Lucien asked calmly as he walked towards this man.

Hearing Lucien's words he was taken aback since all he saw was a man badly hurt, he didn't think the city master would be in such a condition. Was this place invaded?

"A royal summons from his majesty… Members of the Libet empire have arrived seeking justice for their dead… You have been summoned for questioning!" The man said calmly.

Even though he wasn't from the main branch of the emperor's clan, he still considered himself a royal so it was natural for him to look down on a mere Baron.

"Is that so? They finally came" Lucien said with an amused look on his face stunning the messenger.

While the people are restless because this matter may bring about a war between the two empires, Lucien laughed! In his opinion, Lucien is the reason for all of this and he wished that Lucien was executed! A lot of things would have been avoided.

Did this kid hit his head or something?

"This matter is quite serious and I request you treat it as such" The man clenched his fists and said those words coldly.

But even with this, Lucien shot the man an indifferent glance. When he saw that hatred in the man's eyes, Lucien sneered.

"Peak of the warrior realm? Trash! Piss off!" Lucien quickly guessed the man's cultivation before asking him to f%&k off!

"You!!!" The man growled viciously as he unsheathed his sword and it was instantly set ablaze as he hacked down mercilessly!

In his opinion, killing Lucien here is of great merit to the empire since it will save them a lot of trouble!
