Lucien found it hard to suppress his laughter, especially with the look on Rupture's face. The king tier magic beast would have pounced on the little fire wolf but when it thought of Lucien it had to restrain itself. Even though Lucien had a smile on his face, his eyes remained cold, making the magic beast believe that even when putting on the mask, Lucien may have been smiling all this while but no one would notice because all they would see are his cold eyes.

The flaming wheel hound retrieved the scroll for Lucien and after looking into it, Lucien had a rough understanding of the capabilities of the people here. The humans residing here were up to five clans while the magic beast clans here were just three.

The Rangy clan belongs to the beast-men from the linage of the low tier Rangy god beast bloodline. This magic beast can be considered unique or unfortunate since it had no affinity to any element. It possessed great physical capabilities and incredible speed. Seeing the name, Lucien couldn't help but remember the girl with the fluffy bunny ears. While many looked down on such a clan, Lucien considered them amazing and unique even though their bloodline is low.

The second beast-man clan was the Saxes clan. Their members had a unique affinity to an element that people barely know of. The poison element! Although they could never acquire another element, this could be considered lethal. Their bloodline may be low but even Lucien valued them greatly! This clan came from a serpent god beast which Lucien knew nothing of. Right now he couldn't help but wonder how many god beasts there are!

And finally, the last spot belongs to the Tang clan. This clan is known for their powerful defense but amazing offensive fire abilities. Their affinity is limited to the fire element since their ancestor was a god level fire turtle who he knew nothing of again.

Seeing the list of beast-men clans, Lucien couldn't help but wonder if it would have been better if he is born a human. Beast men are limited to their god beasts. Once a person comes from a family with a low bloodline their power is destined to be limited unless they can find an alternate source of power, their strength will be limited making it very unlikely that they can ever surpass their god beast ancestors.

The beast-men simply had a head start in terms of strength when compared to the humans but in the end, their limit is very visible meanwhile the humans have an uncertain future with no restrictions. They can end up extremely weak or extremely strong! No limitations whatsoever! Their future will be as a result of their personal achievement, strength, will, and hard work!

This is something Lucien couldn't help but envy!

In a blink of an eye, a month passed and during that time Lucien remained holed up in the Bradford town, not daring to leave. He waited for a week after his arrival to the town before he requested the aid of the empire to help create teleportation platforms, leading it directly to many important parts of the empire.

Arriving seven days later, Instructor Han was stunned to see the change in Bradford town! The mud houses were gone, the streets were decorated with the finest stones, the walls were enriched with numerous defensive formations, and the eight mighty towers littered around the town, surrounding it with a magic barrier while increasing the mana density of the town which made cultivation easier! This made it even safer than most of the territories of other noble families and clans! How Lucien managed to achieve this in such a short time was something he could not explain!

Even when they asked Lucien refused to tell but there was nothing they could do since, Lucien had already made a deal with the empire, stating he would only share what he chooses to share in exchange for his services and Loyalty. Even though emperor Fei was curious as to how Lucien was able to do all of this, he also acknowledged the fact that the empire looked down on Lucien too much and now they can only remain on good terms with him if they wish to benefit from his secrets.

In their opinion, Lucien is better off alive than dead!

After the teleportation formations were secured, Lucien went ahead to do something that has never been done in history! The Town was locked down for three weeks preventing people from entering! During that period, Lucien took out the hundred gold coins he took from the spirit Beast cultivator vault. With it, he purchased a large number of materials and equipment.

Within two weeks the first batch of magic weapons and armors were ready, with all of them bearing the special abilities of the magic beasts assimilated by the system. While the body armors granted the users the earth skin skill weapons like lances, swords, and so on had more offensive abilities.

Even though these pieces of equipment were made of low-quality weapons, they were sorted by every clan and noble family in the empire! Using just a hundred gold coins, Lucien made over 2500 gold coins in profit! The gains were just too shocking, even for Lucien. He knew his forge master skills were amazing but he didn't know it would be this popular! Not daring to waste more time, Lucien deposited 500 gold coins into the Town savings.

The remaining two thousand coins were used to purchase more materials for his foraging and surprisingly, he purchased standard building materials!

For the remaining three weeks, the entire able-bodied population of the Bradford empire focused on building large houses with a good number of standard rooms.

There are all inns!

Soon the town was opened up to the public but each person who wished to enter the town had to pay fees! People were not allowed to own private properties so they had no choice but to stay in the expensive inns! Only those on official duty from the empire were exempted from these fees.

In a short time, Lucien's reputation rose to a high level but not in a good way. His unreasonable ways of doing things made even those who wished to befriend him for benefits hate him! No one would have expected that he would be willing to get on the bad side of the empire all because he had something they didn't.

For an extra month, Lucien remained indoors and focused on forging! This can be considered as the main source of income of the Bradford town so he had to dedicate more time to it. Lucien used his forged weapons to exchange for rare materials and gold. In two months the town had acquired over a hundred thousand gold in savings! The demand for Lucien's magic weapons was just too high. This made Lucien wonder how much he would make if he were not a part of any faction and just stayed at the center. With the three empires patronizing him, he will become the wealthiest tycoon on the continent. But the sad truth is that this world is too dangerous and without the backing of an empire, he may not even last a month.

The inhabitants of Bradford town did not solely depend on Lucien. They had so many people with so many professions, but Lucien didn't find it surprising since they have been surviving for a long time even before his arrival. He never had the intention of carrying all the burden on his shoulders, instead, he only planned on lessening the burden on the people while providing the basic amenities needed for survival!

Meanwhile, the visitors present dared not cause trouble! The presence of powerful King tier magic beasts in the city was enough to make them shiver deep down but that was not what they were truly afraid of. The main issue now was the magic towers and the stone statue of the Chinese serpent dragon located at the center of the town. In the past two months, a few people have tried to steer up some trouble here but they were instantly struck down by the city defenses! Not one managed to resist!

Because of this, even the people of Bradford were scared they would be struck down too if they too tried to cause any trouble so the town was relatively peaceful. In the eyes of everyone, Lucien was neither good nor bad, he simply did what is necessary for growth. After two months of silence from their leader, Lucien finally released a statement! He ordered the clan and family in the town to bring out their young one and prepare them for the fotia academy test taking place only a week from now.

While the town defenses and Rupture can be considered terrifying, one can never underestimate the strength of cultivators! If he could have his army of cultivators, he has no reason to keep hiding in this town. Once he has those, he can now truly compare himself with the noble families out there!
