Chapter 259: The one pathway!

BRILLIANT SUN!

Kaido let out a furious roar and two artificial suns charged forward, chasing after the two elders viciously. Two extra artificial suns coordinated with the other two, blocking the route of escape for these two, meanwhile, the army of dragons above the stairs were prevented from interfering by Demos.

"

! What Are trying to do?" one of the elders roared as he retreated hastily! Maneuvering through the attacks with a frown on his face.

"Igneel is gone... You are going against the sun God Kaido!" Kaido growled as he sent out the last two suns revolving around him at the two elder dragons! With three human sized suns chasing each of them, their movement was locked down and they found it hard to break free from the three suns.

While retreating they occasionally glanced at Derik who was leisurely sitting on the head of the new undead elder dragon. Both of them seemed to be watching the battle and none showed any intentions of getting involved but these two couldn't let their guards down.

"You dont have to worry, as the god of death, I swear on my name not to get involved in your fight... I have no reason to interfere... If you can kill the sun god over there, then you are allowed to leave... No one will harm you when I bring this castle down" Derik said with a smile on his face.

Although the two elders felt insulted, they also felt relieved as well. They had been too bothered about Derik interfering for a while now and that has been preventing them from focusing on the battle at hand! If this happens they should be able to win against this imposter!

"It's too late for you to start getting cocky boys!" Kaido growled as he clasped his hands together and only then did the elders realized that the three artificial suns were in a triangular formation around them!

"Crippling sun formation!" Kaido growled as the three suns lit up and were connected by beams of orange light, forming the perfect triangle around the two elders.

"Burn!" Kaido growled with a sinister smile on his face as the triangular formation began shrinking with them at the center.

The beams of orange light prevented these people from powering their way through. The closer the sun got the more intense the heat became! Any normal person would have been dead by now but because these fire dragons have a high amount of fire resistance and that's why they only had blisters when the sun crippling formation was just a small distance away from them!

DON'T GET COCKY BOY!!!

ROAR!!!

Enraged roars filled the air as the two elders turned into their dragon forms shattering the sun formation! Seeing this Kaido frowned but he didn't attempt to retreat!

Sun Domain!

Six more artificial suns appeared around him but two massive dragon claws were already swinging at him viciously!

"Kill!" Kaido roared as the six suns merged to become one massive sun!

By punching forward he sent the massive sun towards the huge hands of the massive dragons before turning into a beam of light and vanishing!

Whoosh!

Boom!

Kaido watched with knitted eyebrows as the combined strength of the two dragons was enough to obliterate his sun.

"If you think you can win against them without using the power of your inheritance then I have to agree with them, you are cocky" Derik said to Kaido with a slight smile on his face.

Hearing this Kaido frowned, he understood what Derik was trying to say. He knew the body he was reincarnated in is limiting his abilities but then he just couldn't bring himself to use his sun inheritance on beings below the demigod level. His pride as a former god kept hindering his judgment, clouding his mind.

He could remember Derik's fight, Derik used his inheritance without hesitation. To be able to put behind his pride and focus on the task at hand is something he needed to do. Not for anyone but himself!

"I guess I have no choice then... I AM THE ONE AFTER ALL" Kadio said as bright orange tattoos appeared all over his body.

His eyes revealed a hint of disgust as his body expanded and he grew muscular at an alarming rate! The sunlight outside became so intense, they penetrated through the windows and the small holes in the walls just to reach Kaido who kept absorbing them greedily.

Everyone watched in horror as he grew twice his original size, with muscles bulging everywhere. His eyes were golden, complementing his skin color! The ancient sun texts all over his body gave him a more intimidating look!

Gazing at this transformation, Derik couldn't help but shudder! He remembered the first time this ability was used by Kaido in their battle. If it wasn't for the immortal body he would have been killed. He got his limbs ripped off, his head crushed, and more. Derik went through so much pain and barely survived! He won simply by outlasting Kaido whose strength is solely dependent on the sun!

That was his only flaw!

"Nice line" Derik complemented the catchy line he used back there and leaned forward. Even he was interested in seeing this Legendary power again!

Meanwhile...

Outside the castle countless dragon armies were gathered by all the other clans, preparing to lend a hand to the fire dragon clan invaded by outsiders!

Watching from above the Skies Lucien gazed at Belize who was concealing their presence. The combined army of five dragon clans was flying towards the fire dragon clans. If they interfere now, Derik, Demos, and Kaido will be overwhelmed by the sheer power of numbers.

"We have to move now or we may lose them before nightfall!" Belize said with a frown.

Hearing this, Lucien's gaze turned vicious. If it wasn't for his aura getting suppressed and concealed by Belize the dragons below would have noticed his existence. He summoned the azure blue dragon spear in his hands and turned to Belize.

"I will keep the dragon army occupied... Your job is to wait till nightfall before you attack..." Lucien said calmly
