Chapter 255: We wait!

"What do you think? Should we let them go just like that?" An elder asked as he remembered Derik, Demos, and Kaido walking out of this place in high spirits. Although they didn't specifically say what they plan to do, everyone knew they were going to try invading the enemy territory and wreak havoc!

With five injured demigods on the enemy side, they couldn't help but wonder if they made the right decision letting those three leave.

"Even if all of us joined hands with all the shadow dragons we will still fail to stop them from leaving! Derik may be impulsive and hot-headed but he is also one of the calmest and calculative people I have ever met... He wouldn't do something unless he is absolutely sure of coming out of it alive..." Lucien said as they returned to the surface and began rallying the shadow dragons!

This time both young, old, male, and female gathered to fight! With the presence of Belize and the declaration of war, these shadow dragons had absolute faith that they will come out victorious. Watching the elders run around while making preparations for war, some thoughts entered his head.

"You said the red dragons are the most powerful right? The fire dragon clan..." Lucien suddenly asked, taking Belize by surprise.

"Yes... They are the strongest currently... But each of the dragon clans has god realm experts on their side... Luckily, they had already used the god's descent on the is strongest members and set out for the central continent..." Belize said and Lucien nodded in agreement.

God's descent is no different from a god taking a nap and finding himself in a mortal body. It is unable to tell what's happening outside the mortal body so they won't be able to tell that this place is getting attacked. If they didn't do this, then the plan of destroying the Dragon lair will be nothing but wishful thinking!

"Knowing how Derik is, he and the other three will be heading for the fire dragon clan... Honestly, even if we don't take part in this war, I am sure those three will come out on top but it will only take more time and time is not something we have... The invasion is not the only problem we have to deal with in the continent..." Lucien said and Belize listened in silence.

Due to Lucien's dragon inheritance, Belize felt the strong urge to serve this kid, and right now he could barely resist that urge. He could only struggle to keep that urge in check while trying to see if Lucien is someone worth his service!

"Since your group is the ones that declared the war, it is only fair I put you in charge of the army... We will all follow your order" Belize said and Lucien nodded in agreement.

"So what do we do now?" Belize asked.

"As soon as the army is ready we wait till nightfall" Lucien said decisively, stunning Belize.

Why would they wait till nightfall?

It's like three to four hours of waiting!

This should be enough time for the enemy to kill Derik, Demos, and Kaido.

For a moment, he even felt like Lucien was trying to get them killed.

"Don't worry, Derik works better in bad situations... That's when he is at his best... Also, I have this feeling that he wouldn't want us to come too soon... We will be taking all the thrill away if we come too soon" Lucien said calmly.

Seeing how calm and confident Lucien is, Belize could only accept.

Meanwhile.....

Three figures appeared out of nowhere gazing at the biggest castle amongst the five clustered together. They descended to the ground and slowly began walking towards the castle as if they own the place.

"You will die if you insist on using that spear, don't forget we are not undead commanders, we are more are living beings...we can be killed... We cannot afford to be reckless" Demos said as he saw that spear in Kaido's hands and frowned.

He has seen this sun god at his best and his best weapon is the blazing broadsword. Anything else will just limit his capabilities.

"To do that I have to summon my divine armor... If you expect me to summon my divine equipment for these kids then you must be joking... Until I see someone worthy, I don't plan on going all out" Kaido said and Derik sighed.

"Enough both of you... We need to be careful, I understand Demos' concern but we also have our pride! We can't go all out for kids... When the time comes and we see someone worthy, we won't hesitate to go all out... You can rest easy, Demos" Derik said calmly and both of them nodded their heads in understanding.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!" A loud voice cried out from the massive wall in front of them.

Unlike the home of the shadow dragons, the wall was riddled with magic formations and there are numerous war weapons put in place.

"Wow... They are prepared" Kaido commented and Demos chuckled.

"They saw me kill the owner of your body... They heard me declare war... If they didn't do this much I will be disappointed " Derik said indifferently as his body slowly levitated off the ground but before he could shoot forward Demos and Kaido held his legs and pued him down!

"You have fought so many battles... I think it's time for us to test our strength and stretch a little!" Kaido said.

"Yea... You shouldn't be too worried about things like this... I desperately need to stretch a bit, so I think you should leave this one to us" Demos added.

"Very well then"

Seeing both of them insisted, Derik conjured a bone throne and sat down with an indifferent look on his face.

He wouldn't have loved to fight but he also wanted to see how strong his master and his old friend are. By the way, it has been a long time!

"Just don't come crying to me when you are getting your ass whooped! This world is far more complex than ours" Derik said.
