Chapter 223: Three inheritances!

Derik breathed out heavily as he steadied himself and let the power circulate through his evolved body. He had planned to remain younger and didn't expect changing to his Lycan form will trigger the unexpected growth. Right now he could feel his strength was back to his peak and just like before when he invaded this realm, he was at the spirit realm now. He broke through without knowing! If others should hear about this, they will most likely die of envy!

"This will be troublesome when I get back" Derik considered his life back at the Libet empire and considered how the royal family will react, talking less of the noble families.

"It doesn't even matter... They have already seen me in my partial werewolf transformation so there should be a lot of doubt already... Right now I can only come clean and if they reject me... I will just kill the emperor and take his place... " Derik said dully while pushing his hair back. His eyes revealed bright green light as he saw the gate created by the creed leader getting larger, making him chuckle!

'This dude is really going all out... Does he think he has a chance against me within his domain?' Derik thought and couldn't help but laugh. He thought about beating this man in his anomaly but he soon decided to forgo the plan.

Regaining his full power and becoming the realm protector again in a person's anomaly should be a secret he should keep until he meets the real body of this demigod. Only when he can meet the main body of this man is he allowed to go all out!

"I will kill you and take what's mine!" The creed leader growled as he pushed forward and the spinning wheel-shaped passageway shot towards Derik like a projectile.

In this situation, everyone would expect Derik to dodge or get sucked in but the unexpected happened.

"YOU AINT SHIT!" Derik growled as he punched forward and his darkish green aura surged forward overwhelming the age!

Before the gate could even reach Derik it exploded, leaving nothing behind!

How?

He destroyed the gate leading to the anomaly with one attack!

Is that even possible?

He wanted to speak but he realized Derik was gone! Turning around he felt Derik place his index finger on his forehead gently!

"You...," The creed leader muttered as he slowly began to rot. He had lost the strength in his body.

He watched Derik's indifferent look while his body slowly rotted and he couldn't help but frown. The look on Derik's face showed he just killed any other average opponent! Even if Derik won, who gave him the right to look down on him like that?

"Don't get cocky! When next we meet, it will be my main body! Then we will settle the score!" The Creed leader growled as he slowly vanished.

"Kill me? Next time we meet? It is a thousand years too early for you to challenge me, kid!" Derik hissed before turning around and walking towards the massive gate.

The bone wall in his path crumbled as he approached with a wild look on his face! Now that he has been reborn and is about to consume the second inheritance, why won't he be excited?

"Finally, I have taken a step forward towards becoming the absolute being of this world!" Derik said with a bright smile on his face as he stepped into the darkness beyond the door and vanished!

Within the darkness, Lucien felt like he was put in a semi-sleep state! While he could not open his eyes or move, he could feel and sense his surrounding!

With him at the center, three beings could be seen circling him! One represented a dragon, the second represented the Phoenix and the third represented the Rakuzen god beast. Rakuzen, the Phoenix god beast, and Raizen god beast had reached god-level without finding the inheritance of the god vein and even though they reached their full potential as gods, they did not have the blessing of the God's vein that would have made them stronger!

Since Lucien possessed the power of all three, their inheritance was drawn to him the moment he entered the place. In this dark room he called out for Rakuzen but he could not feel Rakuzen in his head anymore. The core of the god vein had severed the link between Lucien and Rakuzen temporarily while he absorbed the inheritance.

Wam!

Like a sledgehammer, slamming into the tummy, Lucien felt a strong pain as the three inheritances surged into his body viciously! He struggled greatly as he could feel the power of the three overwhelming him and directly altering his body structure!

"Aaaarrrrrggggh!" Lucien cried out as the process got more painful when the three inheritances slowly fused with his soul.

His body shivered as he felt his soul slowly evolve into something greater while his power and cultivation level increased at a terrifying pace!

Meanwhile...

Derik entered the darkness and felt the cold air of death creeping over him. He could feel the inheritance of death looming over him but he couldn't help but frown because this was not what he expected! In his original world, the death aura focused on destruction and death and that was how he got his title, god of death and destruction. But here things were different as he felt a none aggressive form of death inheritance! It was none aggressive but Derik got goosebumps just by staying close to it and for the first time in a long while he felt terrified.

This power they speak of reminded him of the only person that had made him a bit fearful in battle! His sworn little brother Blake!

Yanking his eyes open, Derik saw the massive ghastly darkness with blood-red eyes gazing at him. It kept gazing at Derik as if it was not sure if he is not supposed to be here!

Seeing it only one name kept ringing in Derik's head so hard that he had no choice but to say it out!

"Devour!"
