Chapter 213: Winning a war!

Derik saw the anomaly gate and frowned. He may not be from this world but he knew the rules of this world. Only a spirit realm master can attain a martial technique and only a champion realm master can attain an anomaly! Lucien had already done the impossible by attaining a martial technique at the warrior realm, yet he was showing signs of attaining an anomaly at the mortal realm!

What these people didn't know was that Lucien was yet to form his anomaly, instead, he absorbed the anomaly of the creed pillar he defeated with his beast assimilation, and right now he was trying to open up the anomaly!

[What the hell are you doing? Your body is not ready for this! You cannot use this power now! You will only hurt yourself!] Rakuzen warned but Lucien ignored the voice in his head and focused on opening the gate!

He felt like he was trying to push a mountain and even then he didn't stop. With blood-red eyes and a bleeding nose, Lucien kept pushing! Numerous mana beams were fired at him but none of them could break through breakthrough the massive circular gate forming in front of him.

Some towers tried to go around the gate but then they were blocked by the Raizen and Phoenix god beast avatars!

[STOP THIS NOW!] Rakuzen growled but Lucien kept ignoring him.

"This wi be over in an instant!" Lucien laughed with a bloodied face as the gate was completed and it yanked open abruptly!

Whoosh!

An unknown number of golden spirit beasts of different kinds charged out of the anomaly, charging towards the floating magic towers and the army below!

"Die! All of you!" Lucien growled like a beast as blood kept squirting out of numerous openings on his body.

Seeing this Derik frowned, he soon realized that Lucien was pushing his body to its limits and beyond by summoning something like this with such a small cultivation base. Lucien was able to consume someone's anomaly since it was related to beasts with his beast assimilation ability, thereby bypassing the laws of this world through a loophole.

"Crazy kid! But I won't let him steal the spotlight!" Derik growled as he charged forward and threw his arms forward!

The green chains tied around his arms shot forward, spreading out and multiplying into numerous smaller chains, latching onto numerous enemies!

"Die!" Derik growled as he pulled and successfully pulled out the soul, pulling them into his body!

Bang!

"Let's go!!" Derik screamed as he stomped the ground and shot into the air. His eyes revealed powerful killing lights as a bright green death scythe appeared in his eyes. The black blade turned green as his eyes let out a green flash and he turned into a bolt of green lightning and raced towards the ground.

Bang!

Creating a powerful shockwave that send many flying, Derik charged forward fearlessly and brandished his weapon on the enemies gathered around him! His green scythe cleaved through the body of the enemy and went straight for the souls, smashing them in two!

Derik was like a moving bulldozer, plowing through the enemy forces, alongside his undead army, reaping the souls of the weak!

"You dare!" A unit commander roared as he charged forward and quickly shapeshifted into a lion-type demonic beast with bright purple eyes and flaming purple tail!

Roar!

The beast let out a loud cry and it pounced on Derik, releasing Flurries of claw attacks but Derik didn't retreat. His eyes revealed killing lights as he tightened his grip on the green soul scythe and ignored his defense, hacking recklessly!

"Tear!" Derik growled as they both blitz past each other and stopped

Everyone watched as Derik staggered back a bit as numerous holes appeared on his chest but he still wore a cruel smile on his face.

Bang!

At that time the huge lion demon slumped and fell to the ground like a lump of rock. Its eyes were pure white with no sign of life in it!

Seeing this many gasped and even Lucien above smiled weakly. But Derik was bothered. As a being that has lived for thousands of years, only a handful of things can excite him or catch his interest! Coming over here, the only people that have gotten his attention are the three emperors and the creed organization with their mysterious leader.

When he looked deep into the creed information he realized that these creed pillars have the abilities to pass on their cultivation pathway to their disciples and followers which is complete crap and usually impossible. The one Lucien killed was a Spirit beast cultivator and all those following him could enhance their strength and features using the powers of spirit beasts. Now he was taking on these people he realized all of them could transform into a demon and looking back on the cultivation methods, Derik realized this is the demon kin cultivation pathway. With this, he guessed the cultivation pathway of the creed pillar within that dungeon.

"The demon kin pathway is more complicated than it looks... An extremely terrifying pathway that even gives me goosebumps... Meeting the creed pillar within the dungeon will be an issue... Unless he makes the mistake of dragging me into an anomaly, winning against him will be hard" Derik muttered.

At this point, he no longer focused on the battle since he considered this their victory. Each Creed soldier killed is resurrected by his power increasing their forces and at this moment, his original four thousand undead armies have increases to nine thousand, with a five thousand member addition while the enemy forces had dropped from ten thousand to five thousand!

This was a steady and scary process and with Derik's anomaly open, the summoning of countless spirit beasts to hunt the enemy made the process faster. At this point, Derik just stood and watched as the enemy forces got massacred. Even the silver realm outer disciples were ganged on by numerous foes and since these foes cannot be killed they end up getting killed.
