Chapter 206: Die!!!

Lucien gazed at the councilmen contemplating and he sighed. He knew these people had his best interest at heart and even though they plotted the downfall of the emperor they still value this empire as their own and that's why he didn't execute them the moment he became emperor. They have already lost an emperor, so losing another one in just a month will be disastrous for the image of the empire and the morale of the people. 

Should Lucien die now, their greatest shining star will vanish and the next in line who can match the other emperor's will be the Wuxing clan head but the man was old and his talent spent. He could never break into a higher realm and that's why they picked Lucien over him. Many consider him as the empire's guardian, who has always been impartial. Watching over the empire until what is left of his life span runs out.

"I do not wish to see a third emperor during my lifetime… I had hoped to die while emperor Fei remained in power but now he is gone, I can only wish to see you leave a mark in history before my death… You need to understand that no one here wants you dead and that's why they refuse to let you go" The old man said and Lucien sighed.

Under everyone's gaze, Lucien stood up and took the crown off his head. He walked down the stairs and finally stood on the same level with the noblemen before casually flinging the crown to Vlad.

"Hold it until I get back" Lucien said casually before stretching quietly.

"I am a fighter… On numerous occasions, I have served this empire… I fought for your sake and I am ready to do that again… The job of a leader is to serve the people… Why would I send a hundred people out there to lose their lives when I alone have a higher chance of resolving this issue?" Lucien said as his eyes released a frightening rainbow-colored light.

Boom!

His robes exploded, revealing all the beast tattoos on his body, glowing brightly. His muscles kept bulging and his aura kept rising.

"Send me again… Let me make this empire proud again… It will be a great shame to the world that the emperor of the new Fotia empire, left the empire and came back in one piece even after fighting off so many foes!" Lucien said as his aura raged immensely.

The councilmen were moved by this and with no other choice, they sent Lucien ahead. The army of the Fotia empire remained and with the Wuxing clan head still there so anyone who had the intentions of invading when he left will have no choice but to rethink. The only downside to all of this was that Lucien was forced to leave with an assistant. Someone who will keep the empire informed of his actions, that way they can know where he is and see what is happening directly.

Roar!

Citizens gathered around the northern gate the moment they heard the news about their emperor's departure. They waited under the son but no one was worried at all! Soon the roar of the mighty dragon entered their ears as they all looked up excitedly only to see the massive Chinese dragon, far bigger than the last time they saw it with the graceful youth whose face is covered with a bright blue dragon mask. The sleeveless white robe, adorned with bright blue serpent dragon images on his robe.

"Invincible…" Lucien said calmly but his voice was like intense thunder claps shaking the skies, making the people cheer even more.

Ever since he reached the mortal realm, Lucien strongly believed that his abilities had increased greatly when magic and the physical aspect were considered. Lucien slowly descended from above but then he suddenly stopped and his eyes narrowed.

A blizzard surged towards his direction making him frown. He sensed a familiar aura he despised and after so long, it was heading towards him! She was dressed in a pure white gown as she stood atop a pillar, heading towards Lucien.

"Die!!" Lucien roared without hesitation as his murderous intention made many shivers!

The blue Chinese dragon roared as it charged towards the ice pillar!

"AZURE DRAGON ROAR!" Lucien growled as he spat out a powerful beam of blue flames towards the lady!

"wait no!" Instructor Emma gasped but the attack was too fast for her to block but then a massive gray mist appeared in front of her and the attack sank in, never to make it out of the other side!

"Who!" Lucien's eyes revealed killing lights as he looked around only to see the person standing above the fog!

It was the Wuxing clan head wearing a stern look on his face!

'You are the emperor now, CONTROL YOURSELF!!' The old man's voice echoed in Lucien's head.

The entire place was silent as the people below were a bit confused by what happened. 

"AS EXPECTED OF THE EMPEROR… YOU COULD FIND ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS TRYING TO HIDE MY PRESENCE!" The old man laughed and people turned to Lucien to hear his response.

"If you keep doing this you will end up getting hurt old man, Wu" Lucien said as his dragon slowly turned around and began heading towards the northern gate.

Hearing this people began cheering madly. Lucien had killed a champion realm expert and now he spoke to another champion realm expert as if he was just like any other warrior. Why won't they be excited?

"INVINCIBLE!" everyone screamed as they watched the dragon and the ice pillar leave the empire.

As they left, old man Wu could only watch them leave. For some reason, he felt that instructor Emma will not make it back alive and he sincerely hoped Lucien can control himself and not kill the young lady in front of the transmission crystal she had held. If the empire sees that how would the people feel? How will they be able to respect their new emperor?
