Chapter 204: Beast Emperor

Lucien remained standing there wondering all of this is just a dream. His dream has always been to become the emperor of the Fotia empire but this is not how he wanted it to happen. He was prepared to enter in a few years struggle with emperor Fei until the old man accepts defeat and concedes. Lucien never expected it to just get handed over to him and at least not by these people but he found it reasonable. As the only one who has succeeded in killing a pillar of the creed, it is safe to say he is on par with the other emperor's if not slightly stronger. Putting him up as the poster boy of the Fotia empire will make many people reluctant to attack the empire or its inhabitants. They were planning to use his fame and strength as a shield but Lucien was more amused than they were.

Did these people really think he has a chance against a champion realm expert with an anomaly? They overestimate him!

Hearing this Lucien was immediately intrigued! He had never really thought of this so he really didn't have anything in mind. If it were the past he would have picked a title related to the Raizen God Beast but things are different now. His eyes narrowed as he noticed the crystal viewing orb placed at various corners of the room. Guessing just by the number Lucien guessed that the entire empire was watching.

Everyone was watching to see what the new emperor is like and he was sure the spies of the other empires must be watching as well. Placing a hand on the armrest. Lucien let his chin rest on his coiled fist before taking in a deep breath and speaking.

"Beast Emperor!" Lucien said.

Hearing this everyone was silent, they pondered on the name for a while and found it reasonable. Not only is Lucien not pinned by one beast, but he also has numerous magic beasts within him, so doesn't that make him a Beast emperor?

While people cheered and laughed, Lucien was more interested in notifications popping upon his face.

Lucien kept getting this strange feeling that he is alone in this and the struggle has only begun. He is yet to reveal the existence of other races heading towards their continent.

Suddenly Lucien got on his feet stopping the cheering as he gazed at the crowd ahead of him. He knew the people were watching and his actions alone got the crowd quiet with anticipation.

"The battle is not yet over... Right now the enemy is not the Libet empire or the Drakon empire... It is the Creed! Soon this continent will be pulled into a war by the Creed but as your new emperor, I will not fail... I will not experience defeat! Never!" Lucien roared and the entire empire erupted!

Those who have gone into battle with Lucien began chanting invincible while the rest were moved by the atmosphere and they cheered on!

Even within the new royal palace, Lucien could feel the cheers of the people outside, he stood there and let himself get immersed in the feeling of leading many!

[You picked an excellent title and made a cool speech... Well done little one] Rakuzen said but Lucien wasn't paying attention.

He was lost in the feeling, allowing himself to move with the crowd. His eyes remained shut tight as he meditated on the issues arising. He could feel death approaching from all corners and even though it has never been done before, Lucien was sincerely interested in creating an alliance with the two other empires. Only with all three united do they stand a chance of resisting the invading enemy forces.

At this point, Lucien realized his life has just been filled with battles and hardship. He has been jumping from one fight to another, making him unable to live peacefully and enjoy his youth. Lucien realized how much time he has lost and he now realized the burden of becoming an emperor is much. What if the other empires refuse to listen to him? What if they all laugh at him and call him crazy? What will the people say if they see their emperor begging for an alliance?

"It doesn't matter anymore... If they refuse I will just have to subdue them all" Lucien muttered as he finally opened his eyes
