Chapter 201: A Leap to the mortal realm

Lucien kept gazing at the defeated champion realm master and felt confused about what to do next. He hated the fact that he desperately needed to kill this man right now even though he didn't earn the win.

Not killing this man meant that he will be given the chance to recover and that will lead to Lucien dying in this anomaly.

[There is nothing you can do about it... You have to live! Many people need you alive... This time you have to be selfish!] Rakuzen's voice echoed in his head making him frown.

[Also don't go about waking me up like that... I haven't even recovered much and you already need my help... Don't you think it is strange that you always get involved in dangerous things people your age shouldn't know of?] Rakuzen added with a slightly frustrated voice.

"I apologize old man Raku... I realized the creed leader had invaded my consciousness through the enemy and because of his overwhelming power I could not summon the strength of my mind... I needed a greater force to drive it away and you are the only option" Lucien gave a dry laugh while rubbing his forehead.

He was experiencing a serious headache, enough to make his body tremble badly and at this moment, he realized that his body was too weak meanwhile the enemy was trying to use the power of his anomaly to regain his lost strength but his injuries are too bad for him to recover in a short time. But Lucien knew if he kept hesitation the enemy will surely recover and his death will be imminent!

[Make a choice... Fast!] Rakuzen said with a frown and Lucien frowned.

His strong sense of decency and pride is the only thing preventing him from killing this man off immediately. But since his life is on the line as well he had no other reason to hesitate!

Lucien raised his hands and watched it slowly transform to the claws of a dragon. He raised his hand high and was about to bring it down but then he noticed something. Lucien realized the strong feeling coming from within! This was the first time he could feel the strange power within him extremely restless!

Ding!

[Beast assimilation possible! Does the host wish to activate the Beast assimilation at a time like this?]

Seeing this Lucien frowned. He has never heard of the beast assimilation working on spirit beasts but then spirit beasts should not even exist after death but this is possible because this anomaly is the final resting place of these spirit beasts.

What the heck?

Spirit beasts should not even be killed! They can't be killed normally! Once defeated, they returned to the body of the summoner and recover by relying on his strength. This meant that whatever are the side effects of the god's descent used on this man, it simply meant that the creed leader is more ruthless than it seems.

[This man may survive now and gather enough power to finish you off but the injuries run too deep... He will die in a year or two!] Rakuzen said in a calm tone.

Hearing this Lucien nodded in agreement and clicked the Y button.

A powerful suction force began to pull but contrary to Lucien's expectations it wasn't just the spirit beast but the entire realm was getting consumed by him!

"What the hell!" Lucien cried out as he spat out a mouthful of blood and staggered back. Yellow symbols began glowing all over his body, making him shiver badly but only for a short while!

Lucien felt the world around him crumbling even when it is desperately trying to enter his body!

[This Lunatic is trying to collapse his anomaly with you within it! Kill HIM NOW!] Rakuzen growled!

"Damn you!" Lucien growled as he charged forward!

The champion realm master sprang on his feet but he seemed too weak to defend himself properly;

Lucien dug a hole through his chest with his hand bulging out of the other side of the body with his beating heart in his hand!

"He hehe hehe! You have crossed the Creed! My death will not be in vain! No one will remember you after the master kills you... You will be forgotten in history!" The bald man kept coughing out blood while laughing, causing some to fall on Lucien's face.

His eyes were like that of a mad dog, gazing down on Lucien like a superior being but Lucien didn't feel intimidated, neither did he avoid the gaze of the enemy. His grip on the beating heart of the enemy tightened as Lucien took a few more steps forward until he was gazing down on the enemy eye to eye.

"I am the one alive and you will be dead soon... Don't worry, I will send your master coming your way soon... You won't have to be lonely...Also, say hi to Dakar to me when you see him!" Lucien said as he crushed the beating heart of the enemy,

The crumbling world finally stabilized as it slowly surged into Lucien's body. he felt his body shiver as his magic circuits expanded ridiculously, threatening to burst!

BOOM!

While the retreating army of the Fotia empire ran with heavy hearts they lamented deep down. How could dare let a fourteen-year-old sacrifice his life for them, the elders! They hated the fact that they weren't the ones who stayed behind and let Lucien run for his life!

They didn't mind if all two hundred thousand of them died while trying to protect this one kid who seemed to have shocked the entire continent time and time again!

At first, they could feel Lucien's aura clashing with that of the champion realm expert violently but then the enemy's aura suddenly began to rise at an alarming rate, terrifying them! They felt Lucien's aura struggling against the towering aura and slowly it vanished without a trace!

He is dead?

The hearts of many skipped a beat since everything happened too fast for them to process! How did Lucien lose so fast? How did he die so fast?

Soon these people realized that Lucien expended all his forces on putting the army of the enemy at bay just to give them a chance to escape! The thought of returning and having the world hear tales of how they ran, leaving a fourteen year old to die in battle filled their hearts and Klaus was the first to react!

"Fuck it!" Klaus growled as he turned around and began charging towards the direction of the enemy!

Seeing this many began turning back and charging towards the enemy with murderous intentions in their eyes, including Vlad! Even if they died they would take the champion realm bastard with them!

Whoosh!

In just a few minutes when they got closer these people noticed the massive yellow sphere above and soon realized what was going on! Lucien wasn't killed, he was forcefully dragged into the enemies anomaly and to these people, this is no different from death!

"Wipe out his forces! When he leaves the anomaly he will have only use to sea with!" Vlad growled and charged forward with Klaus!

In his opinion, Lucien had created the perfect opportunity for them! With the champion realm master away, they can overwhelm the small army of the Creed with their numbers advantage, and when it is all over they will be able to focus their entire force on whoever comes out of the anomaly!

Lucien's death will not be in vain!

The battle began and with only two inner disciples and a few outer disciples, the enemy forces were quickly overwhelmed. With Vlad and Klaus dealing with the inner disciples of the creed, the other thousand man generals like Hayato Xio, Instructor Emma, Instructor Han, and the other instructors quickly defeated the outer disciples, and soon only the small one thousand man army of the creed were left!

To their surprise, these people showed no fear from the beginning till the end. They remained in formation and held their ground against the two hundred thousand man army and to everyone's army, the battle lasted for a few minutes before they were finally wiped out!

At this point, the massive yellow sphere began trembling, catching the attention of the remnants of the creed forces and the Fotia empire forces. Everyone watched with anticipation even though they knew that expected outcome!

Boom!

Following a loud explosion, the massive circular sphere above the battlefield shattered and what the people saw was something no one expected! It was the creed champion realm expert, gripping Lucien's hand which held his crushed heart, sticking out of his back!

"Impossible!"

That was all the inner disciples muttered in shock, forgetting about their enemies, Klaus and Vlad. Luckily for them, Klaus and Vlad were too shocked to take advantage of the situation!

Seeing Lucien completely exhausted and covered in blood, they could only scream one word!

"INVINCIBLE!"
