Chapter 462 - Renaming

Name:My Way To You Author:Scarlettbunny
Ariana's mind was completely boggled. She had no idea that the oasis that she had seen from far was nothing like what they had landed on. It was actually completely different. Ariana was sure her mind was playing tricks on her so she decided to swim out into the silver liquid just to make sure she had seen the oasis properly.

A man walked in front of Ariana and stopped her from leaving where they were. "It's an illusion spell." A tall, slender, stylish man said. He had fair skin, black eyes, wavy, jawline length, light blue hair with scattered streaks of magenta and white hair while coiled, white horns sat on his head. He wore a cobalt blue, leather jacket with a light grey, cotton hoodie. He also wore slim fit, ripped, charcoal grey jeans, a chocolate brown t-shirt and a loose, cream coloured scarf.

A mischievous smile spread across his face as he leaned in towards Ariana. "You know it's not that hard to believe that we are smarter than we look." The man said with a small laugh. "Don't tease her too much!" A young woman shouted as she pulled Ariana away from the man while Cayden stepped in front of him, blocking his view of the girls. "Your mate is quite territorial but.... Va' Rag must you also be possessive?" The man said in a bored tone.

"I'm not being possessive big brother!" Va' Rag cried out sweetly. Ariana turned her gaze to the young girl and saw that she looked practically identical to the man. She had the same black eyes, the same wavy hair but hers reached her waist and she had tiny, stubby, white horns on her head. "Your Majesty," A tall, fair skinned man called out as he approached the same group. "Speak Jar 'ul." The stylish man said.

"Yes my King, I have finished the head count and everyone is accounted for. Also our medical staff have looked over almost every. They have asked if you can make your way towards the check up area that they have set up." Jar 'ul said as he gestured with his hand towards a massive tent that was immaculately set. "We will be along shortly." The man said as he narrowed his gaze. "Yes my King." Jar 'ul said with a bow before he left.

"You're King Joey?" Ariana asked. "Please one moment Miss Ariana." King Joey said politely before turning his cold gaze to Va' Rag. "Don't you need to be leading our soldiers Commander Va' Rag?" King Joey said with an icy tone. Va' Rag flinched as she cuddled Ariana's arm. "I-I will... But can I not ask Miss Ariana a question first?" Va' Rag asked in a timid voice.

King Joey's flashed with anger but it soon subsided. "Very well." King Joey said. Va' Rag jumped for joy and let go of Ariana's arm. She quickly turned to her and gave her the biggest, sparkling puppy dog eyes Ariana had ever seen. "You renamed big brother and my name is so old fashion too... can you please rename me too?" Va' Rag asked. Ariana blinked a few times before she opened her mouth but no words came out.

"Please?" Va' Rag asked sweetly as she batted her long eyelashes. "Joanna?" Ariana finally muttered. "Joanna.. Joanna, Joanna and Joey! I love it! Thank you!" Joanna yelled as she threw her arms around Ariana and hugged her with all her might. Ariana blushed and couldn't help but hug Joanna back. Joanna's giggles filled the air and it caused King Joey to clear his throat. "Joanna, our men?" He said nonchalantly.

"Right!" Joanna said as she released Ariana. Suddenly her smiling face disappeared and the warm smile that reflected in her eyes were replaced with a cold and resolute glare. "Excuse me, my King." Joanna said in a low voice before she walked away. "You're beast folk." Cayden finally said once Joanna joined the crowd of people.

".... No, we are Radies." King Joey said in a cold tone. "Then what are Radies and why is your island like a modern society?!" Ariana asked as she gestured behind her. There stood high rise buildings, tracks for a bullet train, busy streets and many other people walking around. "Let us go back to my castle." King Joey said before he started to walk away from the silver liquid shores and headed toward the massive tent. "After we have our check up, I will answer all your questions." He continued.

Ariana started walking forward and Cayden approached her calmly. "Ariana," Cayden said as he gently caught her hand. Ariana glanced at him then slightly squeezed his hand. "This looks like home." He continued. "No, it looks exactly like our past home." She corrected. They walked in silence as they reached the tent and again the sense of home struck them.

The medical staff were wearing modern day clothing with white medical coats over top. In the tent they set up a triage and had people sitting on the beds as they gave them a full body inspection. Ariana and Cayden were immediately spilt up and sat on a bed. Ariana felt her body break out into a cold sweat as a doctor and medical student looked her over. "You had wings and a longer tail ... do you approximately know how long your wings were?" The young woman asked as her mentor wrote down his own notes.

"No..." Ariana replied awkwardly. "Do you feel any pain then?" The young woman asked. "N-no." Ariana replied. "Hmmm, I am concerned that you are unable to change back into your human form. Have you had issues like this before?" The young woman asked. Ariana flushed as her eyes started to dart around. "I-I-I-I c-c-can ch-ch-change back but....." Ariana said with a heavy stutter.Find authorized novels in , faster updates, better experience, Please click #%!d(string=12021185405774505)/renaming_%!d(string=51448701985550620) for visiting.

"Is Miss Ariana alright?" King Joey asked as he approached the doctor, with a lollipop in hand. "Your Majesty," The doctor said with a small bow but Joey ignored the formality and started to unwrap the lollipop. The doctor didn't seem to mind and continued as if nothing happened. "The young Miss seems to be perfectly healthy despite the loss of appendages. The only really concern is that she can not change back into her human form at will." The doctor explained.

"You can't change into your human form at will?" King Joey asked. "I-I-I don't know how." Ariana said bashfully. "How strange, did your parents not teach you? Garnet dragons are particularly proud so I can't understand why it wouldn't be taught unless there is a medical issue." The young woman said.
