Chapter 453 - Too Late To Regret

Name:My Way To You Author:Scarlettbunny
Kyrie's sand loomed over them like a tsumani wave. "No..." Ariana whispered. "Hello my little beauty." Kyrie said happily as he stood on the top of the wave. "You've really put us through the ringer this time." Kyrie continued with a bright smile. "Andesine." Ariana shouted as she raised her hand. Andesine shot forward but was instantly stopped by the feather barrier.

Magenta and electric purple lighting pushed her back. "Andesine!" Ariana called out. "Oh sweetie were you just trying to hurt me?" Kyrie said with a delighted laugh. "You're so cute! Even if there wasn't a barrier it wouldn't have worked." He continued with a wide grin. "K-K-Kyrie en-enough, c-c-come l-l-look at ME!" Halina said with an even worse stutter.

"Rude! Can't you see that I'm talking to a cutie pie? Besides you're not going to die with a flesh wound like that." Kyrie said flatly. "K-K-Kyrie!" Halina said through gritted teeth. "Sigh... Such is a life for a beautiful nurse." Kyrie said as he raised both his hands and placed them gently on his cherks. He looked at Ariana and Cayden and blushed slightly. "Right?" He asked.

Ariana glared Kyrie down but she couldn't stop her body from shaking. "Oh my goodness! My little munchkin is more banged up then you are!" Kyrie shouted as he pointed to Ariana. "Kyrie!" Halina shouted weakly as her eyes rolled back. "Fine." Kyrie said as he jumped off of his sand tsunami wave and landed right beside Halina's body as she hit the ground.

"Honestly, you're such a drama queen." Kyrie said as he rolled Halina over with his foot. He then bent down and started to work on her. The feather barrier still held up strong and Ariana ran out of ideas. With a barrier keeping them trapped and a sand wave itching to drown them at any second, all seemed lost. "I should have sent you away." Ariana muttered.

"I would have been more worried." Cayden replied as he laid his head on top of Ariana's head. "Howlite, can you heal everyone?" Ariana asked. A small snow owl appeared and shook his head no. "Sigh. Vasu is out cold and most likely drained.... I should have opened the white pearl door." Ariana said in a pitifully tone.

"Door? .... Ariana, we have time, we can come up with a plan." Cayden said softly. Charoite let out a small m.o.a.n calling Ariana's attention. "I know, you did your best but you just woke up again. Please don't try breaking the barrier you could get seriously hurt." Ariana said as she looked up at Charoite. His beady eye started to collect moisture as he let out a soft roar.

Ariana opened her mouth to say something comforting but a flash of fire flew downwards, stopping her words. She and Cayden looked over and saw that Andesine stood in front of the barrier, her mane blazing behind her as she furiously flapped her wings. "Andesine?" Ariana called out. Andesine looked back and neighed in frustration. Find authorized novels in , faster updates, better experience, Please click #%!d(string=12021185405774505)/too-late-to-regret_%!d(string=51054753072857519) for visiting.

"It's ok Andesine. We can," Ariana started to say but Cayden placed a hand on top of her shoulder. "Look." He whispered as he pointed downwards. Ariana looked and saw the area by Andesine. Her eyes lit up for a second but then she looked dejected.

"Her power is not strong enough to break through rock." Ariana said softly. "But," She continued as the corners of her mouth turned upwards. "Celestine." She called out then moved her gaze to Howlite. "I have an idea but I need all of you." Ariana said.

....

"Well your snootiness, I'm done." Kyrie said in a bored tone. He then stood up and pulled out a handkercief. He immediately started to clean his hands, face full of disgust. "Why do I still feel weak?" Halina spat a she glared at Kyrie.

"I did what I could. You lost to much blood and I had to reattach your hand. Do you know how complicated it is to reattach a hand and make sure that your nerves, physical and magical were connected properly? You should be thankful that I was able to do it in these less the desirable condtions." Kyrie said with a huff.

He then glared at Halina as he pulled out his hair tie and let his long auburn hair fall elegantly downwards. "Where's Deagan?" Halina asked as she struggled to get up. "I can only do so many things at once! If you want to know where your boy toy is then look for him yourself!" Kyrie spat as he turned away from Halina.

"No need to be jealous." Halina said as she rolled her eyes and held out her hand. She could no longer bother with trying to get up herself. Kyrie refused to turn around even though he heard that Halina had stopped moving. Halina reached out and pinched Kyrie's leg. "You!" He hissed as he jumped and turned back. "Help me up you idiot." Halina said bluntly.

Kyrie scratched the back of his head and then reached out to grab Halina's hand. "You're lucky you're so cute." Kyrie said with a heavy pout. "And I promise to compensate you for your help." Halina said in a seductive voice. Kyrie blushed and averted his gaze. "W-well let's take your prisoners to our Lord." Kyrie said causing Halina to giggle.

Sounds of debris shifting broke the atmosphere between Kyrie and Halina. "Deagan there you are!" Halina shouted happily. Deagan was standing close by and looked at the two with indifference. He looked awful, he held up his shoulder with his left hand, his face was covered in filth, blood and bruies while his robes were in rags.

"Kyrie, patch up Deagan. Once your done we'll go." Halina ordered. ".... Why," Kyrie started but Deagan interrupted without a care. "When did they escape?" Deagan asked. "What did you just say?" Halina asked as she clutched Kyries's hand. Deagan nodded towards the barrier. There stood a giant black ghost with a pinkish-purple hue outline but his back was facing them. The barrier was intact and the sand tsunami wave held its place.

"Are you some sot of idiot?" Kyrie growled as he looked at the same scene. "I can ask you the same thing but you would never understand. Go check yourself, they escape from right under your nose." Deagan said with a small and pathetic laugh.

Kyrie let go of Halina causing her to fall right back down to the ground. "Kyrie!" Halina shouted. "Shut up!" Kyrie shouted back as he called his sand back and rose above the barrier. Charoite looked up and made eye contact with Kyrie. He raised his mitten like hand and waved. "THEY'VE!" Kyrie shouted just as Charoite changed his form and turned into Ariana's shadow. "ESCAPED!" Kyrie continued just as Charoite jumped into a small hole in the ground, disappearing under the earth and running away.
