Chapter 415 - Taking It Back

Eanraig brought up his hand and pulled down his hood. Sh grinned like a mad made as he stared at Ariana. "Not even the priestess could give or take our elemental gifts what makes you think we will be tricked by your little magic show!" Eanraig laughed as he freely accepted what was happening.

Ariana turned her gaze to Eanraig and stared with a blank expression. A giant, single scar from his dark brown, hair line down to his left cheek ran down in a single line, a blind eye sat in it's path while the other eye shone a sapphire blue. The scar was a pale pinkish colour which contrasted against his copper skin. 

"You can be the first." Ariana said emotionlessly. She then waved her hand and a dark wind picked up around Eanraig. He was pulled towards her at a faster rate and he just grinned, waiting for her trick to be exposed. "For your involvement of allowing your element to be tampered and changed I, King Ingemar, husband and lover to the Goddess take your power away." Ariana said in a booming voice as she brought up her hand again.

Eanraig laughed as his chest came into contact with Ariana's hand. "Do you really,ah!" Eanraig started but in an a heart beat he started to gasp for air. Ariana's hand hard started to glow a shimmering, royal purple. Ariana took a deep breath in as she closed her eyes. She then exhaled and opened her eyes. Her eyes had turned a opaque and Eanraig started to pale as his head shot upwards. 

The other's were inched closer, by the dark winds and completely forgot to fight against the force. They were too engrossed by the scene before them. "Don't fight it, it will only cause you more pain." Ariana said but Eanraig defied her. He brought up his hands in a cup shape and tried to raise his hands. tears were starting to escape his eyes and veins were starting to pop on his throat. He couldn't breath and hated Ariana for what she was doing.

Ariana sighed and her hair started to float upwards as the dark wind around Eanraig picked up to a formidable gale. "Fool." Everyone heard even though Ariana said as a mere whisper. The light emitting from Ariana's hand intensified and surrounded her whole body. Eanraig eyes shot up and started to roll back. Suddenly a thick line started to move upwards from his throat.

Eanraig stopped fighting and his jaw hung open. "Good child." Ariana said and a thick, black snake with lime green eyes slithered upwards. Ariana raised her left hand and held it out. "Come." She commanded. The snake looked at Ariana and then slithered towards the extended hand. It wrapped it's body around her arm and laid it's tail around her wrist. Ariana let out a breath and Eanraig collapsed onto the ground.

His face had gone pale and his dark brown hair had streaks of grey in it. Ariana looked at the snake and the snake stared back. "Poor creature... is this what they turned you into?" Ariana asked. The snake bowed it's head in shame. "Do not worry, my beloved will purify you. Go to her and accept your judgement for letting your person be corrupted." Ariana said.

The snake immediately dissolved into sand and disappeared into the wind. "What have you done?!" Theodore shouted, he was completely enraged and balled his fist at his side. Ariana looked up and tilted her head to the right. "Exactly what I said I was going to do." Ariana replied. The three remaining church members had gotten so close to Ariana that all she had to do was raise her hand to them.

"However, this child is not strong enough yet... Once she gets her training I think I can use her again and help my beloved." Ariana said with a smile. The smile sent chills down the church member's spines. "No, I think she has enough power to remove the gift on one more person but I sense someone troublesome on their way. So for now let's just stop everything and see what she will do next." Ariana said.

"A-a-are you really the King of Darkness?' Fifi asked. Ariana turned her gaze to Fifi and stared. "I am using the child of the priestess to appear before you but in person I am not, in soul I am." Ariana replied. Fifi and Benson immediately paled. "Forgive me!" Fifi shouted as she dropped to her knees and bowed her head. "I will not pass judgement, that is not my role. This child will and you should pray that your life is spared." Ariana said just before she snapped her fingers.

Giant, dark bubbles formed around the members and were raised into the air. Ariana then waved her hand over the magic circle and it broke up into smaller pieces. She snapped her fingers and the circle dispersed. Within seconds more dark bubbles raised into the air and were slowly floating towards Ariana. She smiled as she closed her eyes. 

"You couldn't just rest could you?" Ingemar said as he slowly approached Ariana's soul, she was curled up in a fetal position and looked very drained. "My beloved Kadia, you've put everything on a gamble on this girl just to save this worlds... I promise I will do everything I can to make sure she is watched over until the very end." Ingemar said in a soft murmur as he brushed aside a lock of Ariana's hair.

"I won't interfere anymore then this but I hope that this gamble will pay off in the end..." He continued as he straightened up his back and looked down at Ariana. "Child, wake up... I can not stay here any longer."Ariana barely opened up her eyes. "I'm so tired..." She groaned. "Who told you to go aid others?'

Ariana lifted her head and looked up at a fair skinned man. He had long, silky, pitch black hair and sharp royal purple eyes. He wore an elaborately embroidered indigo, wide sleeve robe with pearl white thread. His trim was done in black and decorated with diamond dust, sparkling as his moved. "Who are you?" Ariana asked in a weak voice.
