Chapter 394 - Jiro's Choice

Name:My Way To You Author:Scarlettbunny
"Jiro must willingly offer his life force to the opal. Once he does, the power given to the army will be unmeasurable." Tu replied. "How can you guarantee that Jiro will willingly off his life force? Once he does, he will no longer be reincarnated. His very existence will be destroyed." Yaalon said as he robed himself, pain washed over his face and doubt entered into his eyes.

"My love, your uncle's values are always revolving around his army, his Nation and you, correct?" Tu asked. "Correct." Yaalon replied as he turned and faced Tu. "Almost every single member of his army will die in the canyons." Tu said as she sat up in the bed.

"What?!" Yaalon shouted in surprise. Tu smiled as she pulled off the covers and walked through Jiro and up to Yaalon. She wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a seductive kiss on his nape.

"To have an immortal army... They must die in the canyons. With Jiro giving his life force he will resurrect the fallen and give birth to humans that we have never seen before. Ones that have God like abilities. I don't think they will grieve too quicky so our child wil have time to become a prodigy." Tu said with a wicked smile.

"Ah, my sweet beloved Tu. You already have a way to change our army back." Yaalon murmured as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "Yes, I would never let anything happen to you, our Nation or our child." Tu said before she raised her head and placed her lips over Yaalon's. Jiro shook as he balled his fists. "Tu, had everything planned out..." He said under his breath. "There's more." Tora said as he pulled Jiro to his side and away from the memory.

Jiro could not believe his eyes but he had no choice. Everything he heard was true, the moment he opened his eyes back in the real world Tu was standing right beside his physical body. She looked annoyed as she looked at Jiro's physical face. "Tora, what is happening?" Jiro asked as he looked around. "I'm sorry. This is the extent of my power in the present. I can not leave the opal so I have given you my remaining power so you can see for yourself what that woman Tu has been planning." Tora explained.

Jiro looked down at himself and saw that he was being astro projected from his body. "Thank you litte one." Jiro said with a deep bow. Tora's opal started to shine brighter. "T-there is no need for t-thanks!" He said in a bashful manner. Jiro raised his head then observed Tu. "Tsk." Tu clicked her tongue and turned away from Jiro with a disdain filled face.

"Useless! I have to do it again." She spat. Jiro's heart ached. "How am I useless? And what do you need to do?" Jiro asked but knew that Tu would never hear him. "All you had to do was say your name. Now I must try and reach you. How much work do I have to do to get what I want?" Tu growled as she raised her hands. Tu started to chant and collected a small amount of chi. She elegently moved her hand across the air and sent the flow of chi into Jiro's ear.

"Don't forget.... Do not fail.... Please, save me!" Tu's word's echoed into Jiro's head but his physical body did not flinch. "Useless!" Tu hissed as she cut the flow. "She has chi?" Jiro asked. "All living creatures have chi. It comes down to whether you use it or not." Tora replied.

"I meant she's never used it in front of me." Jiro said. "Then yes, she has chi. She has been sending it into your body since you entered my cave and I caught some when we connected. I was able to see some of her memories and shared them with you." Tora explained.

"What can I do to make you complete the ritual!" Tu shouted furiously. "Tu, were you hiding your true self from me all these years?" Jiro asked as he floated towards her and placed a hand onto her cheek. Tu turned around and stormed a way down. She brought the tip of her thumb to her mouth and bit it hard as she started to pace back and forth. Jiro chased after her and watched with pitifilled eyes. Tora stayed silent as he watched from with in the opal.

"Tora, what will happen to my men who have fallen today?" Jiro asked without turning to face the opal. "They will become part of the maze." Tora replied bluntly. "So, will they live?" Jiro asked. "No." Tora replied firmly. "If their chi is strong they will create new routes and rooms for the maze. If they are weak they will become the maze's tools. They will become creatures, monsters, gas, spiders and if the are a pure soul like you... They will live with the animals in the safe zone." Tora continued.

Jiro raised his head and allowed tears to fall. "So the fish we ate?" Jiro asked. "Was actually a human soul living peacefully." Tora answered. "Can they ever leave?" Jiro asked. "I don' know." Tora replied. "So there is only one way to save my men then?" Jiro said as he brought down his head and wiped away his tears. "Don't do it. You still don't know what will happen to your men." Tora warned.

"No, I do and if Tu keeps to her plan they will all be saved." Jiro said as he turned around and started to walking back to his body. "No Jiro. Stop whatever you are thinking! You are making a big mistake!" Tora shouted just as Jiro placed his astro hand onto his phyical shoulder. "There is never a mistake when one is giving his life for the glory of their beloved Nation! I have faith in Tu and my nephew and wish them happiness!" Jiro shouted with conviction.

"Nooooo!" Tora protested as he squirmed inside the opal. "You are making a mistake!" He continued to shout. "JIRO LONGWEI!" Jiro shouted. The opal glowed even brighter. Tu stopped pacing and rejoiced when she caught sight of the strong light emitting from the opal. Jiro closed his eyes and allowed his astro self and his chi to be swallowed up by the opal. "You fool...." Tora whispered.
