Chapter 291 - Kyomi Part 2

"NO!" Kyomi shouted as she pushed Nurray off the bed. Kei was the last person she wanted to see. Murray was shocked.

"Oh my G*d Nurray! I'm so sorry." Kyomi said with a shaky voice as she jumped off the bed. She extended her hand towards Nurray. "I don't get you anymore." Nurray said softly as she got up from the floor. "If you hate this family so much just go to D University and never come darken our door again." Nurray said coldly before she left the room.

"Nurray... I'm so sorry." Kyomi said as she dropped to her knees and cried. It had been a long time since Kyomi cried her heart out, Murray hated her and she couldn't do anything about it.

Kyomi had walked back to the Kim residence carrying her father on her back. When the employees spotted them they quickly rushed over to offer assistance. Just like what that cruel man had said. Her father had passed away.

Kyomi couldn't find her voice. She was drowning in guilt. The last words she ever said to her father were so harsh and cruel it caused her to become mute. The Kims brought an arrangement of doctors to look at her but no one could figure out the root cause and Kyomi was never going to tell them either. They moved Kyomi out of her home on the residence and into the main estate. She couldn't be left alone, even though her father quit they saw Kymoi as one of their own. They were going to stand by her no matter what.

Kyomi could only silently cry as she stood at her father's funeral. She cried as she watched her father's coffin was placed into the earth then buried. The silent tears and voiceless wails never stopped. Kyomi was in utter despair. Weeks had gone by and Kyomi still could not speak. The Kim's were worried and couldn't think of what to do. 

Ushi had an idea and asked for the full support of his family.

One morning Ushi barged into Kyomi's room. "Morning birthday girl!" Ushi shouted with an abundance of energy. Kyomi looked at Ushi with sleepy eyes and rolled over. "Nope, not today beautiful." Ushi said happily as he yanked the blankets off. Kyomi sat up and glared at Ushi. "I have a whole day of activities planned so you need to get up and get ready." He said with a beaming smile.

Kyomi huffed and laid back down. "Come on get up. Change your clothes and let's go out.... Unless you've forgetten how. Or you're secretly asking me to help?" Ushi asked hopefully. Kyomi glared at him.

" Cough , cough . You know people say that your mind reverts backwards on your birthday that's why we want kid like things. Cake, presents, party games... It's all very fascinating! So if you want I can always help you undress." Ushi said as his cheeks flushed. His hand reached out forward, he gulped back saliva as his fingertips brushed at the collar of her button up, oversized pajama shirt. Kyomi grabbed Ushi's hand and glared at him coldly.

Ushi flushed harder and pulled back his hand. "You know, you could always use your words to tell me off instead. A look can only say so much, especially that kind of look. It makes me feel like you hate me." Ushi said as he pouted and flashed her some puppy dog eyes. Kyomi sighed. She then sat up, shook her head and gave Ushi a gentle smile.

"I'll just take it as you're willing to go with me today. Meet me downstairs in 10 minutes... or else I will have to come back up and check on you again." Ushi announced with an obnoxious

smile. Kyomi grabbed her pillow and smacked Ushi on the side of the head.

Ushi laughed before leaving the room. "8 minutes left!" He shouted from the other side of the door. Kyomi rolled out of bed and quickly got dressed. She didn't know what Ushi had planned but that day was the first of his 30 day plan.

"You look so pretty." Ushi said bashfully. Kyomi sighed and patted Ushi on the shoulder as thanks. "S-so let's go." He said excitedly as he grabbed Kyomi's hand and dragged her out. That day was filled with simple plans and pranks. Ushi planned for them to go to the aquarium. She was scared out of her witts when she came face to face with the horrors of the sea exhibits and couldn't believe that Ushi had planned for her to pet a small, speckled shark but overall Kyomi forgot about her worries.

The next 30 days Ushi took Kyomi out everyday, before and after school. She started to smile more often and found her own way to communicate with the Kims by using a tablet. Ushi had taken Kyomi out to celebrate her passing the entrance exam for the Elite highschool and she was excited.

They went to a local ramen shop and ordered a bowl of Ramen. The evening was perfect, Ushi was charming and funny like always. Kyomi always laughed her heart out but no sound ever came out but that evening for the first time in a long time, her laugh came out like a crystal bell, pure and charming.

Ushi was stupefied. He looked at Kyomi, he was soon overwhelmed with emotions. He grabbed Kyomi's smiling face and kissed her. Kyomi blinked, she couldn't figure out what was going on but soon her heart swelled and she closed her eyes, settling herself into the kiss.

The moment Ushi removed his lips they heard whistling and cheers all around them. Kyomi blushed as she slowly shrunk herself into her seat while Ushi beamed happily. "Another round of Ramen and it's on me!" He shouted excitedly causing another round of cheers.

Once they were done with their meal, Ushi grabbed Kyomi's hand and walked her home under the light of a waning moon. "You know I have always been in love with you." He said out of no where. Kyomi's hair stood on end. She peeked at Ushi and instantly blushed when he caught her. He smiled. "I hope I can hear your response." That was the last thing he said and they walked back to the estate in silence.
