"I should ask Master Floriana about it…"

Rant Valo murmured to himself.

He then walked out of the room and headed back to the banquet hall. He didn't have to wait a day to meet up with them so he could just head back.

Before long, he was back inside the banquet hall.

"Disciple!"

Floriana Sabina immediately noticed Rant Valo approaching them from afar.

"Master!"

Veia also saw Rant Valo.

They both happily ran towards him.

"What did they do, Disciple?"

"Are you okay, Master?"

Floriana Sabina and Veia asked him in worry.

"Don't worry. They just talked to me about some stuff."

Rant Valo replied to them with a smile.

"Really?"

Floriana Sabina looked at Rant Valo doubtfully.

"Yes. They left when we finished talking."

Rant Valo nodded his head and explained to her.

"I see. That's good then."

Floriana Sabina smiled hearing Rant Valo's words.

"Come, Master, let's eat."

Veia tugged Rant Valo's hands and pulled him towards the buffet served on a long table.

"That was so delicious…"

Rant Valo said as he rubbed his full stomach. Floriana Sabina and Veia walked beside him.

"I wanted to eat, but I can't…"

Veia grumbled as she walked. She could only watch earlier as Rant Valo and Floriana Sabina ate a lot of the food.

"Don't worry. I'll let you drink my blood later since I'm so full."

Rant Valo said to her with a smile.

"Yes!"

Veia jumped up in joy. Her mood took a turn, and she walked beside them happily.

"Disciple, why are you always spoiling Veia?"

Floriana Sabina asked Rant Valo with a pout.

"Huh? She's my servant, isn't she? It's normal that I spoil her."

Rant Valo replied to her in a matter-of-fact manner.

"Hmph."

Floriana Sabina snorted hearing his answer.

"Yes, Master! Spoil me."

Veia went over and hugged Rant Valo's arm.

"Y-You!"

Floriana Sabina looked at Veia in shock. As she was not willing to lose, she also did the same.

"You girls…"

Rant Valo walked with two girls hugging his arm with a wry smile on his face.

After walking through the hallway for a while, they then arrived inside his room.

"Alright. I'll sleep now."

Rant Valo said to them as he held the door.

"What are you saying, Disciple? We'll sleep here."

"Yes! I also have to drink Master's blood."

Floriana Sabina and Veia looked at Rant Valo with a face that says that they are not leaving.

"Wait! Don't the two of you have a room for yourselves?"

Rant Valo asked them with confusion on his face. He could still remember the king giving each of them a room for themselves.

"We are used to sleeping with you, Disciple."

Floriana Sabina said to Rant Valo with a wide smile on her face.

"Right! I want to sleep beside Master."

Veia supported Floriana Sabina.

"Your words may make someone misunderstand."

Rant Valo eyed Floriana Sabina with a frown.

"Fufufu. Let them misunderstand!"

Floriana Sabina laughed and replied confidently.

"Isn't your Saintess image gonna get ruined?"

Rant Valo looked at her with incredulity.

"Does that matter? This is just a kingdom."

Floriana Sabina asked Rant Valo as she blinked her eyes at him.

Rant Valo was speechless hearing her words. It seems that if someone isn't significant in the world then she wouldn't care about their opinion.

Veia pleaded to him from the side.

Veia burped and said to Rant Valo. Red blood trickled down the edge of her lips.

"Alright. Let's sleep."

It was a dark space. There wasn't any light from the surroundings.

After seemingly a long time has passed, a man appeared on the empty face. At first, he was the size of a grain of sand before he grew in size.

"Perfect. Clean area and far from the others."

The man murmured with a faint smile hanging on his face.

He then spread his arms out and shouted.

"Create!"

Suddenly, a small white dot expanded in front of him. It quickly grew larger and larger until the man couldn't be seen anymore.

Rant Valo opened his eyes suddenly. He blinked his eyes and stared at the ceiling. He just had a weird dream. It felt so odd yet so familiar. It was like he was there when it happened.

"Disciple?"

Floriana Sabina opened her eyes groggily as she looked at Rant Valo in confusion.

"I just had a weird dream."

Rant Valo replied to her.

"Don't worry, Disciple. We are here by your side. We can help you."

Floriana Sabina moved her hand and rubbed Rant Valo's forehead.

"... Thank you, Master Floriana."

Rant Valo looked at her silently for a while before he opened his mouth. That dream was so confusing. What does it even mean?

"Mm…"

Floriana Sabina nodded before she fell asleep once again. These days, instead of cultivating, she had been sleeping beside Rant Valo.

"I should cultivate instead."

Rant Valo looked at it with interest. He rewatched what happened in the scene.

'Did Magicus and Novi Inde give me this?'

Rant Valo thought to himself. He could remember them saying that he was the manager of this universe. But what does that even mean? If they are the creators, then do they even need a manager?

Rant Valo stopped thinking about the shard. He then focused his attention into his core.
