Chapter 159 - The Royal Family's Help

"Yes, Saintess!"

The king bowed to Floriana Sabina respectfully. No one who wasn't close with him should know that he was already a Mid Nascent Soul stage cultivator. It was one of his trump cards against the monarchs of the surrounding kingdoms.

"So, are you helping us?"

Floriana Sabina asked him arrogantly.

"Yes! Anything for the Saintess!"

The king nodded respectfully. He couldn't help but become excited. A Saintess should have a lot of valuable stuff with her. If she rewards him with it, it would make him happy.

"Fufufu. You're smart."

Floriana Sabina laughed and praised the king. He sure knows where the benefits lie.

The guards who were around the garden looked at their king in shock. They never saw their king act this respectfully to someone. It was like they were dreaming.

And so, the king ordered a painter to paint Veia's face. After that, the painting was copied throughout the kingdom.

...

"I think that's all, Saintess."

The king said to Floriana Sabina. They were currently sitting at a table in the castle garden.

"Mm. Good work."

Floriana Sabina nodded her head. She sipped the tea from her teacup leisurely.

"Umm… Saintess."

The king said to her shyly.

"Speak. You look like an idiot."

Floriana Sabina looked at the king with disgust. This was her first time realizing that a king could act shy.

"Y-Yes! Saintess, isn't there… a reward for me?"

The king asked a little nervous.

"A reward, huh…"

Floriana Sabina held her chin in thought.

"Here."

A crystal appeared in Floriana Sabina's hand, and she passed it to the king.

"What's this…"

The king looked at the crystal intently.

"A mana stone? No… wait, this is a Grade 9 Mana Stone!?"

The king suddenly realized. This time, his little doubts that she was not actually a Saintess faded away from his mind. He had only heard of them before. This was the first time he saw one.

"Thank you! Thank you, Saintess! I'll keep this in the Kingdom's Treasury."

The king thanked her profusely. This was something that he can't even dream of having, yet she gave it to him.

As for Rant Valo, he was currently walking through the hallway of the castle. There was a gaudily dressed woman walking beside him. She was wearing a light pink dress that flowed down her slender body. There was also a tiara worn on her head.

"Princess, why do you keep following me?"

Rant Valo asked her tiredly. He had been trying to shake her off for a while now, but she kept on insisting on following him.

"Are you really a villager of our kingdom?"

The princess asked him. Her name was Peiana Beslor. She was the 3rd Princess of the Beslor Magic Kingdom.

"Yes. Just like I said, I'm just a nobody."

Rant Valo nodded his head and said to her.

"But why are you with the Saintess?"

Princess Peiana asked him.

"She's my master."

Rant Valo explained to her.

"Then, you must be amazing! Why don't you want to marry me?"

Princess Peiana said to him with a smile.

"I already have two, no, three girls in my heart."

Rant Valo explained to her. Her words were the reason that he was feeling tired now. He never experienced something like this before. A woman was asking to marry him of her own volition.

"Can I have a space inside your heart, then?"

Princess Peiana poked Rant Valo's chest with a smile.

"It doesn't work that way."

Rant Valo shook his head as he kept walking forward.

"Ehh? Aren't impressive men supposed to have a harem?"

Princess Peiana said to him with dejection on her face.

"That's not true. Who even told you that?"

Rant Valo looked at her like she was crazy.

"My father the king and my late mother told me when I was little that powerful men desire to have many beauties by their side. Aren't you the same? You said that you already have three girls in your heart."

Princess Peiana explained to him.

"What? Sigh. I didn't intend to have a harem. But those girls… They melt my heart."

Rant Valo sighed and explained to her. He couldn't help but smile at the end of his words.

"Really? That's nice."

Princess Peiana's face changed. She quickly realized that Rant Valo's emotions towards those three girls were not just lust. It was true love.

"Alright, we're here."

Rant Valo turned to the door on their left. He then opened it.

Once inside, Rant Valo saw Veia sitting in front of a painter. The painter paints Veia's face from different angles. There were already various paintings completed that were scattered around.

"Esteemed Guest, welcome!"

The painter stood up and greeted Rant Valo. Veia couldn't help but turn her head towards him.

"Master!"

Veia called out to Rant Valo happily. She was wearing a luxurious dress. Her face also had make-up on it.

"Thanks."

Rant Valo thanked the painter and walked towards Veia.

"How are the paintings, Veia?"

Rant Valo asked her. He looked around at the different paintings of her.

"I'm satisfied with them, Master. I'm sure that my family will recognize me."

Veia replied with a smile.

"If they are still alive…"

Veia added, downcast.

"That's great to hear. The only thing we need to do now is to wait."

Rant Valo nodded his head at her.

"Yes."

Veia nodded her head and smiled. Though, it was filled with a faint melancholic feeling.

"Rant Valo, don't tell me that you want me to also be your servant so you would accept me!?"

Princess Peiana moved back in fear and disgust as she looked at Rant Valo. She didn't know that he had that kind of a kink. As a princess, it would be one of the things that she will never do.

"No, no, no! What are you even saying?"

Rant Valo waved his hands in denial. He couldn't understand the brain of this princess.

"Master, you like being called 'Master'?"

Veia's eyes shone as she looked at Rant Valo.
