Fang Ke’s gaze turned vicious, “If worst comes to worst, we can go to jail together!”

Su Jing extended her left hand that wasn’t holding onto her phone between them and said to Fang Ke, “Calm down.”

She kept glancing out of the car window from the corner of her eyes. Why are Qin Feng and his men not here yet?

“Think about it yourself. Either give me the money or go to jail with me.” Fang Ke wrapped her arms around her chest and threatened Su Jing to choose.

“I really don’t have that much money.”

“What?!” Fang Ke’s eyes turned vicious again.

“But, I can think of a way!” Fang Ke’s expression changed.

Su Jing glanced at the phone in her right hand. It was still recording, so she deliberately said, “Money is a small matter. I can give it to you, but we need to be clear about something.”

As soon as Fang Ke heard that Su Jing was going to give her money, a smile appeared on her face, “As long as you can give me the money, we can talk about anything you want.”

Su Jing pursed her lips. Fang Ke’s attitude changed so quickly.

“As a friend, I can lend you the money. However, I didn’t know about the kidnapping of Lin Yi, and I didn’t ask you to do it. Do you admit that?”

Su Jing asked.

“Yes, of course, I do. I planned this on my own, and it has nothing to do with you. I was just kidding when I said I was going to report it to Qin Feng.”

Seeing that there was a chance to borrow money, Su Jing began to flatter Su Jing again.

“Okay, then there’s no problem.”

“Then hurry up and give me the money. Withdraw cash. Online transactions can be traced.”

“Who said I was going to give you the money?”

“What? How dare you lie to me? I’m going to go up to Qin Feng and tell him about your evil deeds. Let’s see if Qin Feng still wants you after that!” Fang Ke realized she was being played and was furious.

“It doesn’t matter. Go ahead and tell him.”

Su Jing wasn’t afraid of Fang Ke’s threat at all with the evidence in her hands. She could already see that someone was heading towards them from the car window behind Fang Ke. It was most likely Qin Feng’s men.

Fang Ke noticed that Su Jing was acting unusually calm. She stopped to observe Su Jing carefully and realized that Su Jing was recording with her phone.

Her expression became scary, “How dare you, Su Jing!”

Fang Ke pulled out a knife from her pocket. It was a long and thin fruit knife.

Su Jing held onto her phone tightly. She was a little nervous, but she had already thought of a way to escape. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have dared to provoke Fang Ke so easily.

While Fang Ke was pouncing on her, Su Jing placed her hands behind her back, opened the car door behind her, and ran out.

Fang Ke grabbed onto Su Jing’s leg, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground.

“Ah!” Su Jing screamed in pain.

“Su Jing, go to hell!” Fang Ke raised the knife up high and aimed it at Su Jing’s abdomen.

At this critical moment, Fang Ke’s hand holding the knife was kicked away by a foot.

Su Jing looked over and realized it was Gu Jue. Her tense nerves immediately relaxed, and her eyes turned red.

“Gu Jue, you’re finally here…” Su Jing’s tone frightened herself a little. She actually started to cry.

Gu Jue felt his heartache at her words. He squatted down and tried to help her up.

Fang Ke had just gotten up from the ground when she heard many footsteps approaching her. It was Qin Feng and a few bodyguards approaching her.

Fang Ke immediately realized that Su Jing had used the excuse of checking her bank balance to inform them. She glared at Su Jing like a devil and said, “You just wait, Su Jing. I won’t let you off.”

She then ran away.

Qin Feng ran to Su Jing’s side. He wanted to check if Su Jing was hurt, but he was inexplicably annoyed seeing her in Gu Jue’s arms. He gritted his teeth and called his bodyguards to chase after Fang Ke.

Gu Jue examined Su Jing and found a small wound on her wrist. However, Gu Jue’s heart still ached. It felt more painful than hurting himself.

He held Su Jing’s hand carefully and blew on the wound. He asked with concern, “It must be painful, right? Are you hurt anywhere else?”

Su Jing shook her head and leaned her head on Gu Jue’s shoulder. “I’m fine now that you’re here..”
