435 Vol 6 : Ch 435 – Wen got panicked

Wen : (Trying to persuade himself that it's only his imagination and ask again from them) did Lina just excuse herself before I arrived here, right?

All : (Except Officer Cai all of them shaking their head with a pale expression especially Mr. Hwang since it's his pregnant daughter they are talking about. Of course, Rei almost has the same reaction as Mr. Hwang and Wen but then Tae automatically holds his wife's hand right away the moment he heard Wen asking about his wife because he knows how it feels to worry someone especially if it's closely related to you.) 

Wen : (Already in panic mode) t----t------then how long did Lina inform you, Dad, that she's on the way here?

Mr. Hwang: C---calm down Wen. (Also in panic but not the same with Wen while looking to his phone) Lina message me that she's on the way here at exactly 5:58 pm.

Wen : (Looking to his watch and just realized the time right now) forsake it's already 8 pm and Lina message me that she's on the way here after her check-up. 

Right away he retrieved his phone and calls his wife without asking permission from his head chief since he's willing to get punished than to be following the rules of asking permission without knowing his wife's safety. He's a police officer that must protect the citizens of S Nation but then how can he be called a police officer if he didn't protect his only wife. He called not once but many times but all he heard from the other side of his wife's phone is only this one 'the number you dialed is currently unreachable.' He didn't lose hope and instead still trying to contact her but then he heard the same thing again and again which he suddenly crunched down from the floor and he doesn't know what to do anymore.

All of them looking at him like this and they don't know what they are going to do for him because they don't have any right words to comforts him because they still don't know of her whereabouts until they all heard him mumble and then blaming his own self.

"If I accompany her today then nothing will happen to her. What if she's the one who got kidnapped and only using the two of them in order for the police officers to get lured from the main culprit away from the real target. What the heck I'm doing now, how come I didn't accompany her today? Letting her got kidnapped's my fault and my mistake, she can manage to protect herself and escape but then because of me I let her got pregnant ...…." someone cutting him off and that someone is his Father-in-Law.

"Uh-uh but Dad, it's almost two hours and Lina is not the type to go out without an appointment. She always informs and updates of where she is but today...."

"Yeah, I know Wen because she's my daughter after all and by the way, what time her appointment with Annie?"

"5 pm Dad"

"Alright, we will call Annie first and ask her what time Lina come in and got out on the hospital premises." Mr. Hwang thinks positively but then to his dismay he only got a replied from his sister just like this one.

"She arrives here around 5 pm and then got out before 5:30 pm, why? Is there something wrong with Lina?"

To him, he only replied his sister "nothing's wrong Annie" in order for Annie not to get worried since she's also a worrywart person. On the other hand, Wen asks his Father-in-Law right away.

"So what did you find out Dad?"

Mr. Hwang plan not to tell him the truth but then he just letting the problem getting worse if he will not inform what he finds out, so left with no choice he relays what his Sister replied to him.

"Lina arrived in the hospital around 5 pm and leave the premises before 5:30 pm."

"........" all of them suddenly got speechless because they realized that the culprit has already been following her the moment she got out from the CA Building Pent House and yet no one noticed this one especially Lina and the Security Personnel of CA Premises. Meanwhile, after realizing this one, Cai asks Mr. Hwang.

"Mr. Hwang, can we ask for the footage here before Mrs. Lu leaves here?" already guess that the Pent House is on top of the CA Building based on what Rei said awhile ago.

"Ooh, right t---then...…" this time, Mr. Hwang is already in panic mode but still not the same with Wen who almost going to burst out.

Suddenly someone interrupting Mr. Hwang because that someone also realized that his boss already in panic mode "let me do it Mr. Hwang" then Atty. Kei calls the CCTV Footage Department and tells of what to retrieve".

A few minutes later, that the said personnel from CCTV Footage Department knock on the door and just give the item to Atty. Kei then leaves right away. Kei gets his laptop, insert the disc, and then give it to Officer Cai since the other one is still in panic mode. Officer Cai reviewed it and then notice something from the said footage.

Paused the video and ask someone from the conference room "this car" pointing to the car "is it belongs to one of the CA Families?"

"Eh?" all of them only replied this one since they didn't see the said video.

"Ah, sorry but can I connect it to any projector available here?"

For the first time after hearing Lina's disappearance, Rei answers them "ah, right sorry for that one Officer Cai, and let me have that one first".

Officer Cai gives the laptop right away to Rei then Rei connects it to the projector. After making sure that it's already connected to the projector, she gives it back to him, the laptop along with the controller. Then Officer Cai pointing the said car and all of them except the couple react at the same time.

"Eh, is that your car Manager Rei?"

"By looking through this footage it really looks like my car since it has the same model, same color and most of all having the same plate number but then since the day Tae disclose our relationship I didn't use my car until now so it's always park in CA Residences."

Officer Cai interrupts "it seems that the culprit is trying to use you, Ma'am, as the culprit covered and the culprit scapegoat. For now, can I ask any footage that your car been to park in your residence since then and until now?"

"Yes, and I will request a copy of footage from the Security Department in CA Residences to prove that I'm not involved and as for this, can I also add for the security report that I park my car since that day until now including the detailed report that either Tae or I will only start the engine of the car for its maintenance every day and didn't use the car until now, right?"

"Yes, that would be precise Ma'am". 

Tae automatically makes a call and requests everything that Rei just said then replied to the said officer "Officer Cai the in charge only promises us that he will do his best so that he can send the said footage and detailed report within two days."

"That's long enough to wait for the said footage and report but we will try another means for that, so, for now, we are still not sure if Mrs. Lu is the one who got kidnapped or not but there's a possibility she is but we are still lacking evidence...…." Suddenly someone is interrupting him.

"Uhm, about that one...…"
