13 My Boyfriend?

"Haa~" Xue Mei lay on the ground. She covers her eyes when she feels a bit hot because of the sunlight.

Her surrounding is a mess with her drawing sketches. She tries to find an idea for the festival project.

Ren Zhi walks out from his room. These few days he hasn't see Xue Mei at all. Normally she would pop up from nowhere and tease him or disturb him while he does his painting.

He goes around the campus and suddenly he spots Xue Mei at the back lawn behind the building. She was laying on the ground with her arm covering her eyes.

He went to her and bend his body a little, looking at her face.

"What are you doing here?" He asks a little bit curious. looking at her messy drawing lay on the ground, he scrunches his eyebrow.

She moves her arm and looks at the one who staring at her right now. His shadow covers her body from the sunlight.

"Erk! Why are you here?" She feels a bit shy and her face turns a bit red.

He did not answer her question, instead, he picks up the drawing on the ground and looks at it one by one.

Xue Mei sits up and brushes her hair from the dirt.

"Your drawing... it looks like a three-year-old kid you know." He observes her drawing.

Snatches her drawing back, she shot her with a glare. "Hey!"

She immediately picks up her drawing and put it into her bag.

"Do you work alone?" He sits on the ground and looks at her.

"Yeah. Why? You wanna pair up with me?" She turns around and looks at his face.

"Draw me. And I'll think about it." He said casually.

"Hah! Don't try to fool me." She did not believe his word. A man like him wanna pair up with her? Is he having a fever?

"I'm serious."

"Yeah right." She looks at her watch.

"Oh! I need to return to the dorm." She murmurs and put all her things inside her backpack. She stands up and ready to leave that place.

Ren Zhi also stands up and brush off the dirt from his cargo pants. "Hey.." He calls her before she goes.

"Yeah?" She turns around and looks at him.

"Be careful."

Surprise by what she heard, she smiles. Blushed a bit. "Okay."

She walks faster and she places her hand on her heart. She feels like she was in a cloud nine just because of the word 'Be careful' from him.

After changing her clothes and tied up her hair into a bun style, she went to the subway station. Waiting for the train to Heaven Road. While waiting, she was chatting with Risa about what happened earlier online.

She smiles a lot and not noticing that Xui Li stand right next to her.

"Did something happens? You look so happy today." He tilted his head a little to peek at her.

"Huh?" She turns to look the right side. Looking at to him.

"Hey.." She smiles at him.

"Hi."

"Same shift with me again today?" She asks and put her phone inside her pocket.

"Yeah. And, you didn't answer my question yet."

"Eh? What question?" She makes a blur expression.

"I ask, why did you seem so happy today?" He smiles a bit.

"Oh.....erm, nothing happens actually. I just had a good day." She smiles at him widely.

"Hmm.."

"Your train is arriving.."

Xui Li holds Xue Mei's hand and went inside the train. It's a bit crowded with people because now is the peak hour, they need to take this train, otherwise, they will be late to their destination.

Xue Mei leans against the train wall while Xui Li standing in front of her and use his hand to hold his body from the crowded.

Their position is quite close. She could smell his perfume and that makes her heart feel uneasy. She turns her face to the side after their eyes met for a second.

Xui Li also divert his eyes when she turns her head around. His heart beat faster and he tries to calm himself.

"Sorry if you feel uncomfortable." He said slowly.

Shake her head, she replies to him. "Uhm...It's okay. it's peak hour."

"Yeah. Hold on until a few stations more."

"Mm."

After they stop at two stations, the people inside the train start to lessen a bit. Xui Li retracts his hand and hold on the rails holder while another one is put inside his sweater. This time he wears a dark green sweater.

Xue Mei also changes her body position, she facing the glass window train looking at the outside of the city view.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Xui Li said from behind her.

"Yeah.."

"Does your city also has this view?"

"No..My place is..countryside. So, all you can see is cow, paddy, valley, and the city is not like this. It just a small town but the people there were so friendly and they.." She stops her words. Talking about her place make her miss it even more.

Xui Li smiles and bend his body a little. "I bet your country must be very beautiful and calm then. Bring me there for the next summer, alright?" he whispered to her ear.

Flinches her body a little, she could only peek his face on the window glass in front of her. She sees that he was smiling and she nods her head.

"Sure."

"Next station is Heaven Road...All passengers.."

"Alright, come on. We reach our destination." He pats on her shoulder before he holds her hand again and went out of the train.

After they went out, he releases her hand and put inside his sweater pocket back. Xue Mei also retracts her hand and hold on her sling bag.

They went to the store and chat about all the attraction that this city has. From the station to the store is only takes about 5 minutes walking.

"Can you help me to play this note?" A few young girls try to ask Xui Li to play the music note on the real piano inside the store. They make other customers turn to their way.

"Uhm.." He scratches his temple a bit. He wants to refuse it, but his sister from the second floor already shot him with a glare.

Seeing there's a fuss at the Music department, Xue Mei tries to stretch out her neck to see what's happening inside there.

"Hey, Vivian..what's that fuss over there?" She asks Vivian when she passes by her.

"Oh, there's a few schoolgirls want to hit on your boyfriend..they want Xui Li to play the piano over there." She said casually.

"Eh? My boyfriend? Since when I have a boyfriend?" Xue Mei makes a face.

Chuckles seeing her reaction, she continues again.

"Aren't you both always together? Since the first day, you come here until now. You look good with him, everyone here thought that he is your boyfriend."

"Heh..." She shakes her head helplessly.

"If you want to see him play the piano, you can go.. but return back as soon as he finishes." Vivian couraging her.

Feeling a bit curious, she went to the Music department. She just stands by the door frame while a group of people surrounding the low stage inside the room.
