111 Is It Not Romantic?

Xui Li sat on the stool in front of the kitchen counter. He watches Xue Mei prepare their dinner for tonight. She said she will making spaghetti for their dinner tonight. Although, spaghetti is originally from Italy.

"Dear, are you sure that the ingredient is right?" He asks when he felt something is wrong with the recipe.

"Eh, is it not? I think it's the correct ingredient." She said and continue to stir the sauce in the pan again.

Xui Li silent and once again, he said. "Dear..don't you think that's too much pepper you put into the sauce?"

Looking at the pan, she said: "Oops..sorry."

After a few minutes, she turns off the gas and says, "Done!"

"I'll help to set the table." Xui Li stands up from the stool and find the plate and the glass. He then finds a jug of juice inside the fridge and brings it to the table. While Xue Mei put the spaghetti into the plate before she pours the sauce on top of it.

Sat on the dining table, both of them start digging their dinner.

One spoon makes Xui Li cough a bit and drink a glass of juice in one shot. His bronze skin color turns a bit red but he still smiling and keep eating.

Xue Mei also cough and she immediately drank her juice. Not enough with that, she went to the fridge and drinking a bottle of milk.

After that, she turns to look at Xui Li who want to scoop the second the spoon. She immediately went to him and grab his hand.

"Darling, don't. I make you another food, okay?" She said and take the spoon and the plate away from the table to the sink.

"It's okay. You don't have to trouble yourself." Xui Li said. He knows that she tries her best to make that dinner. Even though the taste is really spicy, he willing to eat it.

"Sorry, I'm not master to make this western cuisine." She feels a bit awry for making such deadly dinner for him.

"You still have a lot of time to learn." He went to her and try to cheer her up.

"Hmm. I'll make something that I know." She said and start again.

This time, Xui Li help her to chop the ingredient so they will save some times to make the dinner.

Lucky that she had a rice supply in her kitchen, so she wants to make fried rice for the second dish.

"Thanks for this dinner." Xui Li smile at her while eating her fried rice.

"Tomorrow we dine out and I will bring you the restaurant that I used to go to." Xue Mei slips her hair behind her ear while continuing to eat.

"Oh yeah, about tonight, do you have any extra blanket?" He asks.

"Huh? Why?"

"Well, I'm gonna sleep on the couch tonight."

"Huh? Why?"

Stop eating, he looks at her with a questioning face. "Dear..do you want me to sleep with you?"

Blushed, Xue Mei lowered her gaze. 'Erm, wait. Did I want to sleep with him?' She then diverts her eyes to the couch at the living room.

'It's so small. Xui Li wouldn't fit to sleep there. Urm…'

"Dear?" Xui Li call her again.

Looked up at him, she blinks her eyes a few times. "Erm..sleep with me tonight."

Xui Li drops his jaw. Unbelievable with what he just heard.

"I..I…mean..we're a couple, so it's okay, right?" She wasn't sure whether the word she uses is correct or not.

"Well.." He scratches his temple a bit. Nervous. "If you say so.."

They watch a movie after dinner and talk a lot about work, studies and everything that they do when they were apart.

"So, what our planning for tomorrow?" He caresses her hair where she sits beside him on the couch. She leans her head on his shoulder while his hand caressing her hair like he's petting a cat.

"Go sightseeing and play where we can play. We had a lot of time, right? When I need to go to my school, you can send me there and I'll introduce you to my friend here." She takes his hand and wraps it around her neck.

"Mm. Are sure you want to introduce me to your friend? I'm a famous singer, you know?" He teases her.

"Well, you can put on a disguise." She smiles giving him a suggestion.

"Is your friend is a male or a female?"

"Both."

"Emm...I want the whole world to know that you are my girl but Ivan said I need to wait until I get to the top first before I announcing about us. Tch! He's too strict with me."

Chuckles, she said. "It's okay. I don't want to be known by the whole world. It enough if you know that I'm your girlfriend and not flirting with other female celebrity."

"It's quite late now. Shall we go to bed?"

Xue Mei rigid a bit. 'Erm..bed..that's sounds so scary. Did I wear a pair of black undergarment? No, right? Why didn't I check before!'

"Dear?"

"Huh??" She looks at him. Lost in her thought.

"You keep spacing out when I mention bed. Are you thinking about something mushy?"

Blushed, she lowered her head. "N..No."

"Erm, seems so to me." He went to her and whisper.

"Why? You want to try it out?"

Feeling her face turning hot and burning, she pushed him a little. Her heartbeat pounding like crazy. "Xui Li…"

Laughing lightly, he hugs her and kisses her cheek. "Don't worry. I'm not going to do anything to you..yet."

Feeling a bit relieved, she pushed his hand. "Okay...Let's get to the bed now."

"Yes, my dear." He stands up and turns off the television before he follows her to the bedroom.

Like what he said, he really not doing anything to her, except cuddling her while sleeping and she also snuck into his embrace looking for a warm spot from his body.

The next day.

They went to town. Viewing Eiffel Tower which is full of local people and tourist. They also went to the castle and other few historical places.

At the afternoon, they both went to eat ice cream and waffle from the stall.

"So, this is the bridge where people always lock their 'love' huh?" Xui Li look around the fence which is full of the padlock and had so many colors.

"Yeah, it's kinda tradition." Xue Mei says and sits at one of the benches.

"So, did you lock our love here?" Xui Li asks jokingly. He knew Xue Mei is not into something like this.

"No. I don't have a padlock when I come here last time." She giggling.

"Oh..but I have one now." Xui Li take out a small padlock from his pocket.

"Where did you get that?"

"Erm..that florist gives it to me. He said. 'Give this to your lover and lock her heart away.' " He took out a red rose from his back and give it to her.

Cupped her face using her hand, she laughs softly. "Seriously? He said that?"

"No. I made it up." Xui Li also chuckles.

"Is it not romantic?"

"No..it's awkward." She takes the flower and smile to him.

"So, let's lock it anyway. I get the feeling that people are starting to stare at us." He extended his hand to her.

Xue Mei takes out a red marker from her bag and takes the padlock from him.

"Let's not lock it here. It's gonna cleared by the government anyway. I know where we can lock it." She smiles at him and makes a love shape at the front of the white padlock.

"Oh? where?"

"My house." She giggles a bit.
