82 I Never Dance.

Feng Xiu Ling glances at Xue Mei direction for a moment and saw that her competitor in business, Zheng Wang Li went closer to her future daughter-in-law.

She put the champagne glass and excuse herself from the group.

"Do you have any problem with my daughter-in-law, Wang Li?" She interferes.

"Ah, Xiu Ming.." She turns her body to Feng Xiu Ling and smiles to her. Looking like she forces a smile on her face.

"Are they married now? I thought it still a girlfriend-boyfriend thing." She sarcasm.

"Not yet, but soon. " She went to Xue Mei side and check on her like Xue Mei just being beaten. Xue Mei feels touch to see how protective Xui Li's mother is. Or is it because she really thought that she will become her daughter-in-law?

'Oh..I'm sorry Aunty. I don't want to lie to you either.'

"Ha..so confident of you." She lifts up her eyebrow and sips her champagne while glancing at Xue Mei.

Ignoring her, she turns to the three of them. "LiLi, bring Meimei to get something to eat first. You too Yueyue. Thanks for your caterer services. Aunty really likes it." She pats on Ying Yue before she diverts her eyes back to Wang Li.

Xui Li put his hand on her bare back and that makes Xue Mei flinch a bit. He looks at her and immediately moves his hand "Sorry."

"Erm." She did not look at him, her face beet red, right now. Ying Yue from behind them already grinning seeing those two in front of her.

Well, if she wants to make Ren Zhi breaking up with Xue Mei, she could do it now. Took the photo of them together or record what Xui Li's mom telling his mother. But, that's not her way to get his heart. She still assumes Xue Mei like hmm..not her friend and not her foes too.

But maybe as someone who gives a good vibe in her life. They went to a banquet table. There are so many delicious foods. Xue Mei can't help but drooling to see the various cuisines.

"You hungry, huh?" Ying Yue take a plate and pass it to Xue Mei and Xui Li.

Xue Mei took the plate while Xui Li shakes his head saying to her "I share with her."

Ying Yue's a bit surprised to hear his answer. How romantic he can be? Why he doesn't have any real girlfriend until now?

"Okay." She uses the plate for her and starts to recommending Xue Mei to try her best cuisine and her caterer specialty.

After taking an almost full plate, they went to a VIP table and take a sit. Talk about so many things. Ying Yue is normally an aloof girl. She doesn't have many friends because of her attitude which is a bit arrogant to others people eyes, but truthfully she is quite friendly toward Ren Zhi, Xui Li and now..she adds one more person on her list. Xue Mei. That because she is easy to talk.

You can say something bad to her. But she never throws you anything back with a harsh word, in fact, she just smiling, laughing and sometimes mocking back. You can joke around with her and you also can have a serious talk with her. A perfect example of a person who can be anyone's best friend.

And that's her biggest weakness. People can take advantage of her kindness too.

"By the way, where is Ren actually?" Ying Yue fork her cake to her mouth after asking Xue Mei about Ren whereabout.

"Hm, I don't know. He said that he has something to take care of. But I see that his mother is here." She took the skewer from Xui Li and bite another fruit from it.

"And you still believe him?"

"Of course, I am."

Ying Yue could only sigh. "So, what that bitch has been doing all these months?"

"Whose you calling bitch? She's not a bitch, Ying Yue." She forked Ying Yue's cake in her plate.

"Na-uh.." She uses her fork to hold Xue Mei's.

"This is mine. If you want, go and took a slice at the table there." Ying Yue glare at her.

"Aw..come on. Just a bite."

"Nope." She shakes her head and still holds her fork down.

"It's okay. I take it for you." Xui Li pats on Xue Mei's shoulder before he stands up and went to the banquet table again.

"Xui Li, bring delicious dessert too."

"Okay."

Once he already far from their table, Ying Yue release her fork.

"Xue Mei. I advise you not too relaxed. If you really love Ren, then do something." She back to her normal and serious face.

"I got it. I barely had time with him. He always busy with something that I don't know. Well, can't blame him, I also busy with my assignment and project." She put the fork on the table.

"But, if its continue like this..your relationship will come to an end. Think about it. Unless you already fall in love with Xui Li, I will fully support you." She smiles at her.

"I don't know." She blushed a bit. Well, she knew that Xui Li loves her. He already confesses to her about his feeling. But she doesn't know how to reply to him.

She loves Ren and she wants to have a beautiful life with him in the future. But at the same times..her feeling toward Xui Li..it is something that undescribable.

"So, forget about that matter for now. How are your friend's doing? Risa?" Ying Yue change topic.

"She? What else I can say? She's doing perfectly okay."

"I've stalked her social account and I found out that she had a stepsister and stepmother, huh? The post about her being bullied...It's not like her at all." She rubs her chin.

"Ah~ that just a trap. Don't believe it. You see yourself how tough is she, right?"

Ying Yue nod. A second after, Xui Li put the new plate for Xue Mei. It's the cake that she wants.

"Thanks, Xui Li." She slices the cake and eats it.

Munch it, she squinted her eyes "Yummy. Ying Yue, tell your chef to teach me. Please…"

"Not a chance. Buy from my store. I pay him to make money to me, not to profit your stomach." She said coldly.

"Ah, you stingy." She continues to eat. Sharing the cake with Xui Li.

Half an hour later, the music change and the announcer of the party invite all the couple young or old to the dance floor. They gonna start to play slow music and give a chance to the guest to express their feeling to the one they love tonight.

"Wanna dance?" Xui Li ask Xue Mei out of blue.

Ying Yue turn over to them, glance at his eyes and expression. 'He just…don't give up, does he?'

"Huh? Erm...I don't know how to dance. I never dance." She said rejecting his invitation.

"You can hold on to me. Follow my step. No need to dance at the center. We stay at the side." He still wants to dance with her.

"Seriously, I can't." She said.

Pursed his lips a bit, he looks a bit disappointed. He then turns to Ying Yue.

"Yueyue?"

Back to reality, she nods her head. "Yeah. Sure. Let's go." She stands up and tugs on Xui Li's arm.

Xue Mei was a bit surprised to seeYing Yue agree to dance with him. Yes, they dance and she could only see them from the table.

She feels so jealous right now to see how beautiful they dance. Ying Yue can dance because she was born from a wealthy family, learning a dance is like learning an ABC. While Xui Li..he was in a Music course, of course, he can dance!

She tries to brush off her feeling, but it can't just go like before.

'Argh...I hate this feeling.'
