62 Did You Really Love Me?

As days pass by, both of them is busy working on their project. This time, their concept is a bit different than the last time.

Ren Zhi deciding to make a 3D concept of art. Combining both sketching skills and painting, he wants to create his own city using the idea. Even it's a bit retro, but it's still a good idea to redo the concept. His idea also agreed by Xue Mei. To do those things is a bit challenging and tough, yet she could feel the outcomes will be very standing out.

This time, their senior already graduate that's means they had a high chance of winning this competition, this summer. With the project that needs to put more effort and time, they rarely go to dates.

The only time she had is when she with him after the class before she went to work at Dreamland shop. Their relationship still as before, nothing changes and Ren still did not make any further move toward her. For him, he had plenty of time for that in the future. No need to rush everything.

Knock! Knock!

"Come in," Risa said with a loud voice from inside the room.

Open the door, she went inside and lay on Risa's comfy bed.

"What's wrong? Did you need something?" Risa asks with just a glancing to her. She is now in the middle of studying at her desk.

"Erm…Risa.." She flips her body flat and buries her face on the comforter.

"What is it?"

"Teach me…" She murmurs.

"Teach what? We're in a different course, you want me to teach you literature?" Still focusing on her study.

"K..kiss.."

Froze a moment, she feels a bit chilly with what she just heard. "Huh?"

Sit up on the bed, she straightens up and said with a firm voice. "Risa-sensei, teach me all about the 18sx thing. I beg you." She bows down to her.

Clatter!

She went to Xue with a thick book on her hand. Rise it up, she hit her with the book on the head.

Bonk!

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" She half yelled. Her face's a bit redden because of anger and embarrass.

"Ouch! Risa, it's hurt." She whimpers a bit with both of her hand over her head.

"Serves you right!"

Feeling that she might fail to coax Risa, she hurriedly grabbed her hand and begged her again.

"Risa…please..teach me.." She makes a puppy eyes to her.

Squinted her eyes a bit, she wavered her grip from her hand. "Okay now tell me, why you so eagerly want to know about it?" She crosses her hand around her chest and looks at her with a serious expression.

Feeling a bit lost, she sit back and play with her hair. "Erm…you know Ren Zhi's fiance right?" She starts.

"Yeah, what about her? Didn't you tell me that you already settle your score with her during the break?"

"Well, she told me one important news that keeps haunting me."

Risa stares at her, waiting for her to continue.

"She..she said that Ren's ex-girlfriend will return back after this summer. I'm worried and feels insecure."

"Okay, so?"

"She also said that both of them have done it before. While with me, he only kisses me on the cheek and not even touch me further than my hand and my face." She lowered her gaze.

"Isn't it good to have that kind of boyfriend? What else do you want?"

"Uhm, I want to at least feel secure. I had a feeling that if I don't par with her, I couldn't even win against her. I want to hold Ren's heart for only me."

Sighing, Risa pinches her forehead a bit.

"So you want to sacrifice your first time to someone that even not sure to be your husband? You know, we have miles away ahead of us. We gonna meet a lot of people after we graduate, are you sure you only want him? What if you found someone far better than him? Don't you feel regret later? Don't be like me. I'm rotten, I don't want my precious friend to experience things like me." She tries to persuade her to forget about her thinking.

"No Risa, I'm sure I just want only him. We promise that we'll stay together after he graduates and he even promises to take me to France to further my study. I love him, Risa. I think I can't live if he was not with me."

"I'm sorry to ask this, but, did he feel the same way as you? You were blind by your love to him. But, is he really in love with you?" She deepens her voice in the last sentence.

Startle, she turns silent for a moment.

"I'm sure he feels the same way as me. He told me that he loves me, every day, so I believe in him."

Smiling a bit, Risa pat Xue Mei's head.

"If you believe in him, then just wait until he himself approaching you. If not then, maybe he also wants you as pure as he marries you later. You don't need to go that far just because you feel insecure. You still can win his heart with many more way, right?" Risa softens her voice, try to make her understand.

"But...Risa…even the fundamental of 'it', I don't know. How can I be prepared by then?"

Chuckles a bit, she whispers to her. "Try to watch porn. Learn from it. So at least you didn't go around to ask people about this right?"

Startle, she then nods her head. 'Yeah, why didn't I think about that before?'

"So, do you have any more problem that unsettles?" She stands up and went back to her desk.

Xue Mei shakes her head. "Then, I need to study. You too might want to 'study' right?" She grinning to her.

Knowing what she said, she also gets off from the bed and went back to her room.

While searching for the video, her ears caught a slight beautiful sound from her neighbor room.

'He might be playing his piano right now.' She stops tapping on her laptop and enjoys the music of 'kiss the rain' he played right now.

Without her noticing, she actually feels so calm to hear he played it every night. He always played it around her bedtime. After a whole tiring day and listening to a piece of good music he played, she feels so calm and that makes her easy to fall asleep.

Just like tonight too. She closed her laptop and lay on her bed. Enjoying the music until she falls asleep. The thought of looking for a porn video did not succeed.

"Ren, do you think I should be more details in this part?" She asks Ren Zhi while rubbing her chin looking at the cardboard.

He went to her and observe her drawing. "Maybe just a lil bit. No need too details." He gives her his opinion before he continues to paint for the floor part.

"Ren." She also continues to draw on the cardboard using a sharpie marker.

"Yeah?"

"Do you love me?" She asks just want a bit of secure feeling to her own heart.

"Yes, I do. I love you. Why did you ask?" He glances at her a bit.

Smiling, she feels satisfied with his answer. "Nothing. I just wanna hear it."

"I've said it for a thousand time before."

"Then I wouldn't mind to hear it a million times more." She smiles peeking at him.

"What if I record it for you so that I won't have to repeat it each time."

Laughs, she said, "Um..that's so unromantic of you."

"But it's easier, right?"

"Yeah yeah.."

"Xue Mei."

"Hm?"

"Did you really love me?"

Stop her hand from drawing, she turns to him again. "Yes, I do."
