54 Both Of Them Is Special To Me

Both of them fall into a paddy field. Stained with a mud.

"Urgh! You!" Ying Yue tries to get up and once she almost stands up, Xue Mei grabs her hand and pull it again to the mud.

"Ha! Serves you right!" She stands up and when she wants to climb back to the border, Ying Yue pull her hair backward and again, she falls into the mud.

They continue fighting until her mother comes out from the house to go looking for them. Once she saw both of them covered in mud from head to toe, almost turn completely black as charcoal, her eyes almost pop out from the socket, her mouth widely open. Shocked by what she just saw.

"Meimei!!" She yelled with a loud voice making both of them stop their fighting immediately.

"Um." Xue Mei fidgeting a bit.

"What the hell did you both thinking?! Fighting in the middle of paddy field? Aren't you ashamed?! get out from there, now!" She furiously glares at her daughter.

Even though Xue Mei is naughty and a bit tomboyish, when it comes to her mother rage, even she would shrink and feel a bit afraid.

She climbs to the border and helps Ying Yue to get out from there too before both of them sprint back to the house. While her mother sighs heavily after they both sprint back to the house. She needs to buy something at the near store first before she went home.

They both did not use the front door but they went to the back door. There's a big crock with clean water inside it. Xue Mei finds a bailer and scoops the water before she splashes on herself.

After she was done, she passes bailer to Ying Yue, she also does the same as Xue Mei does.

"You know, I know what I did just now is childish. But I can't help myself to beat you up." Xue Mei start.

"What I said earlier is true. Whether you want to believe it or not, it's up to you. And…me try to killing myself had nothing to do with him. I'm well aware of his feeling toward me."

"Why? Why you did not confess your feeling to him? You had a chance before me..you have been longer with him than me."

"Hmm. Let say that I'm unlucky at that time. He was snatched by someone before I could do anything." She finishes up her cleaning.

Just when she pulled up her legging, she gasps loudly.

"What? What's wrong?" Xue Mei a bit panic when she heard Ying Yue gasp loudly. She could see her face turn pale.

"T..T…That.." She points her finger to the leech on her ankle and a few more area.

"Crap!" She immediately grabs Ying Yue's hand and brings her to the kitchen using a back door.

Siting her on the chair, she finds a small cutter and some alcohol from the cupboard.

"It may feel a little sting. So hold on, okay?" Xue Mei said as she squatted down and pull her legging up to her thigh.

Looking at both of her legs, she swallows a bit. 'Erm..that's quite a lot.'

Ying Yue nods her head. She clenched her fist and close her eyes tightly. Using the small cutter, Xue Mei tries to flick the leech one by one before she daps the wounded area with alcohol on the cotton pads.

After finishing with her legs area, she asks Ying Yue to take off her t-shirt. Afraid that the leech might have on her body skin too. Because both of them are totally soaked with mud before, it's better to check on the whole body.

As she predicted, her body also had a few leeches on it, but not as much as the legs. She helps her to removes all the leech.

'Damn, I guess I also had these creatures on my body.' She starts to worry about herself.

After she was done, Ying Yue wear back her t-shirt and that is when her mother pops out from the back door.

"What happens? Why you still here?" Ming Yi asks her daughter before she turns to look at Ying Yue.

"Uh…"

"Ying Yue, it's better if you take your shower first. Relax a bit and we can have our dinner later." Xue Mei said and signal Ying Yue to go upstairs.

Nod her head, she smiles at Ming Yi before she went upstairs leaving Ming Yi and Xue Mei at the kitchen.

"And what about you? Want to explain why you do that to our guest??" Ming Yi glare at her daughter before she put the plastic bag on the sink.

"We just having a fun time." Xue Mei smiles bitterly.

"Fun time? You know who is she, right? What if she sues you because of this? Do you really want to go to jail?" She tries to scare her daughter.

"Mm..no.."

"Then, why can't you be more mature? Think before you act, young girl."

"Uhm..mom…"

"What?!" She busy chopping the vegetables.

"Can you help me?" her voice was a bit slower than before.

Put the knife on the chopping board, she turns her body around, facing her daughter.

Xue Mei lift up her shirt and show her mother her circumstance. She had leeches on her body too.

Looking at her daughter, she shakes her head. "Great! Serves you right!" She went to Xue Mei and make her sit on the chair.

She did not use the tools as Xue Mei before, instead, she just pulls it out from her skin and that makes Xue Mei yelled a bit.

"Mom!"

"Shut up or I won't help you."

'Huhu..now I regret..please...I won't do that again…' She could only cry inside her heart.

"Sorry Ren Zhi..but, may uncle know if you really serious with my daughter? She's immature, stubborn, not attractive at all, she had no qualifications to stand beside you." Wang Wei starts, he feels a bit worried about her daughter's relationship with this man.

"I serious, uncle. I know it may sound unconvincing, but once I graduate, I had planned to bring her to France. She can further her study there and I assure you, I will marry her at that time. It is my promise." Ren Zhi also said with a serious tone. He was really confident that he wants her to be his partner for life.

"France, huh? It's quite far..with our current state.."

"She'll get a full scholarship. I guarantee you that, uncle." Ren Zhi interjects Wang Wei before he could finish his word.

Wang Wei turns silent. He had a heavy heart feeling to let her daughter go that far. Especially leaving for a guy, is she really able to study after that?

"I know you feel insecure with my current status, but uncle, I truly treasure your daughter. Rest assured I will always make her happy." He bows his head lower to Wang Wei, hoping that he will understand that he really loves her daughter.

"Hmm. Then, please cherish her while we, her family are far away from her." Wang Wei finally gives in.

"Thank you for your blessing, uncle." He rises up his head and pours Wang Wei a cup of tea.

After dinner, Xue Mei went to her little brother's room. She always goes there when her little brother at home. She will draw him a picture and sometimes, she will teach him a few new things she learns.

"Sis.." Zhao Lin looks at her with a bit sad face.

"Hm?"

"Are you really going out with him?" He asks.

"Yeah. Why?" She turns to look at Zhao Lin with curiosity.

"Hmm...I like Xui Li better." He lowered his head.

Hearing that, Xue Mei's a bit startled. Well, Xui Li is indeed a good man. He can easily blend with her family and makes Zhao Lin like him too. It is hard to actually to win Zhao Lin's heart, but Xui Li can easily win his heart.

Maybe the way he treats everyone is different. His easygoing attitude makes people feel comfortable around him.

Sighing, she tries to find the best word for her little brother.

"Well..for now, the only one that I love is Ren, but I never know what my future lies. Both of them is special to me. So, I just hope that my future will be brighter and cheerful with the one who I end up with."
