52 I Should Know More About Your Family

Xue Mei took her phone, she just finishes her shower when her phone beep indicating a notification.

'I want to meet your parents. Is it okay if I come tomorrow?'

She smiles widely and replies to his text.

'Of course! I'll send you my house location.'

After she sends him the location, she went downstairs where her family is relaxing watching a movie on the television.

"Mom…dad...I had good news.." She takes a sit between the two of them.

"Hmm..what is it?" Ming Yi asks lazily. She still focuses on television.

"My boyfriend will come and visit us tomorrow. So, please treat him nicely." She grinning happily.

"Huh? Okay.."

"Er, mom, dad…tomorrow Linlin can come home right?" She turns to her dad.

"Yup. But for only two days before he needs to be check again. As you already know, the outside wind is no good with him. So we need to be extra careful with it." Wang Wei caresses her daughter's hair.

"Okay..glad Linlin can come home. I want to show him, my boyfriend." She giggles.

"Hm, why are you so excited to bring your boyfriend here?" Ming Yi glance at her daughter a bit.

"Well, you'll see later."

The next morning.

"Yueyue, careful." He outstretches his hand to her. Helping her to step on the deck with careful.

"I rent a Range Rover at the town, so we can go by that after we arrive at the jetty." He continues again after both of them are seated at the speed boat.

All along the way, Ying Yue just remain silent and enjoy the scenery and feel the breeze. The smell of the ocean and the fresh breeze makes her at ease.

Looking at her, he says "If you like it, we could go and travel to other places too. Where there is nice scenery and you can at least reduce your stress a bit."

She curled up her lips a bit. "I can go on my own. However, thanks for the invitation."

After arriving at the jetty, a man from a car rental company waiting for them at the parking lot.

After checking the car and take the keys from him, both of them get inside and Ren driving the Range Rover off from the jetty. Based on the location that Xue Mei send them yesterday, he follows at the right direction.

As expected, all along the way to her house is filled with greenery view and mountain. One and half hour later, they went to the village area which is filled with the paddy field.

"I think we almost there." Ren Zhi checks on his phone.

Ying Yue did not say anything as she keeps looking at the view outside of the window.

After a few minutes, they arrive at Xue Mei's house. This time, like Xui Li, Ren Zhi and Ying Yue also a bit surprised to see her family house. It does not look like a villagers house they see earlier.

Its look more modern and stylish. However, there's still a traditional carve made from the wood that makes it look more unique. He took out his phone and dialing Xue Mei's number. After a few rings, she picks up the call.

"Hello?"

"Erm, babe, I think I got the wrong house." He said while tapping his finger on his chin.

"Eh? Where are you?"

"I'm in front of the white-big-house."

"Hah? That is my house. Wait a moment, I open the gate for you." She went to the sliding glass door and push the button gate to be open.

Once the gate is open, he could see Xue Mei from the glass sliding door inside the house. She waves her hand to him. "Yeay..you're here."

"Oh." He put the phone and drive to the lawn.

Ying Yue also sneering a bit. "Surprising." She murmurs and once the car stop, both of them get off the car.

"How is it? Is it hard to find my house?" Xue Mei went outside and smiles at them.

"I just follow the location you send us. I thought I got a wrong house." He scratches his temple a bit.

"Hahaha..you're good with the road right, how can you'd lost?" She laughs a bit.

"Erm..is your parent home?" He peeks at the glass sliding door from his gaze.

"No, they went to the hospital to pick up my little brother. But my grandma in the house though."

Just after she said that her dad's SUV arrives at the lawn too.

"Oh, they're back." Xue Mei smiles to him and waits at the side Range Rover he rent.

Get off from the car, Shen Ming Yi and Shen Wang Wei is a bit surprised to see the guest for today. Their face looks a bit uneasy.

"Mom, Dad.. this is Zheng Ren Zhi. My boyfriend. And she is err…" She forgot her name.

"Hi, I'm Jiang Ying Yue." Ying Yue bows her head politely.

Both of Xue Mei's parent nod their head.

"Nice to meet you Sir, Madam.." Ren Zhi also bows his head a little.

"Uh..nice to meet you too." Ming Yi is still a bit surprised.

"Uhm, Meimei, help me to help your brother." Wang Wei said and went to the car trunk.

Without any delay, Xue Mei went to his father. Ren Zhi also follows behind her. He knows that her little brother is sick. But he doesn't know what kind of illness he had.

Xue Mei opens the wheelchair beside the passenger door, once she opens the car door. Ren Zhi immediately helps her by scoop Linlin into the wheelchair.

Zhao Lin was a bit shocked when he was carried by Ren Zhi and put him on the wheelchair. Both of his family also a bit surprised. But they didn't say anything.

"Feeling comfortable? Let me help to push the wheelchair." He offers him his help.

Just when he wants to go to the back, Xue Mei immediately holds his hand and shakes her head.

"Thank you. But I still can push it by myself." Zhao Lin smiles a bit and without any delay, he pushes the wheel by himself.

"Erm, Miss Jiang..please come inside." Ming Yi said politely to Ying Yue.

With a smile, she nods and follows behind Xue Mei's mother. Wang Wei also brings the bag inside the house leaving Xue Mei and Ren Zhi at the lawn.

"What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?" He asks.

"No..it just that Linlin doesn't like to be treated as a sick person. He still can do his daily routine." Xue Mei smiles to him and pats on his back.

"Oh..I don't know about that."

"It's okay. He understands that. By the way, my parent house is built with a barrier-free. So it easy for Linlin to move around inside the house."

"I see. I'm sorry. I should know more about your family before I come here."

"Don't worry. So let's go inside." She led him to the house.

"Okay."
