Chapter 619 - Vol 8: Ch 619 – The Twins first word and first steps 2

Since it's already around 9 pm, everyone from the Jun family members leaves the room except the parents-in-law of Rei after all she needed their bits of help to babysit the twins. They decide to stay because there's no class since it Sunday tomorrow and so both Ken and Ellyn are also staying that they are both happy because they can mingle their baby cousins on the next day.

On the next day, Rei got awake because of the laugh of the kids [Ken and Ellyn] since the two are chatting with the baby twins even though they only respond to them by either nodding or shaking their heads. Seeing the interactions between her twins and the kids [Ken and Ellyn, the baby twins cousins], Rei got amazed and since she listens to what her mother-in-law said to her yesterday, today she didn't feel what she feels yesterday and it will be also on the next 2 days until the day she gives birth.

Around 10 am, the Jun Family Members arrived, and then again, Tia Wen chatting the twins while taking a video because the twins didn't react as their father did when he was stills a baby at that time. A few minutes later, Jinyu and the other kids arrived that they got surprised and dumbfounded because the baby twins are both calling Ken and Ellyn Ke-ke and Lyn-lyn. As for their Auntie Tia Wen, both called them her Tata Ti-a.

"Wow, amazing baby Re-re and Wu-wu, so when did the two learn to talk?" Jinyu asks while being amazed and the other kids a dazed.

Right away, after hearing a familiar voice since Jinyu and their group of friends are always visiting every weekend for their group study, both twins already familiar with it and so after hearing a familiar voice, both of them tried to walk but failed to do so since they only take three steps before got carried by their cousins that both said in sync while getting embarrassed and smiling at the same time. Of course, all of their interactions are got recorded by Tia Wen.

"He, he, he, Ke-ke / Lyn-lyn"

At the same time both Ken and Ellyn, replied in sync "you're welcome Re-re and Wu-wu"

Afterward, the kids are greeting Rei and then they chat first before starting their study group. Around 4 pm everyone leaves since they still have works and class tomorrow leaving Rei alone in the room and then the Jun family members along with the kids and twins will visiting again around 5 pm. 

Even though Rei is alone in her room, Doc Annie already instructs the nurse to monitor her so that Rei won't be in danger and just to be safe.

For the following two days, until Rei gives birth to her baby boy, the Jun family members and the kids along the twins are always visiting her and do the same routine by chatting with Rei while Tia Wen taking a video recording with the twins until on August 10 and exactly 3 am Rei is now at the operating room along with her attending obstetrician, Doc Annie, and a group of doctors and nurses.

Since no one's around with Rei, nobody knows that Rei is now giving birth but they already know that today Rei will give birth only they didn't know what time and as for Tae, inside the chamber, he suddenly feels something that he didn't what is it but he is assured that it's about his wife. At the same, while being in a daze, their platoon leader waking up his team at 3 am is their wake-up call.

"Everyone, wake up," said it in a very loud and stern voice.

Except for Tae, everyone waking up, stand firm and then lining up for their jogging routine.

The Platoon Leader notice Tae didn't pay attention and so he called him "Mr. Jun?"

"...….." No answered from Tae because he still feels something off.

"Mr. Jun"

"..." As usual still no response from Tae.

Seeing this, the platoon leader approach Tae and called him again while tapping his hand to Tae's forehead "Mr. Jun, are you...….." [Didn't finish what he is going to ask because he instructs his team right away "Mr. A, call the medics right away"

"Sir yes Sir"

In just a matter of minutes, the military doctor arrives at their chamber, and only the Platoon Leader and Tae in the room since the Platoon Leader already instruct the team to do their jogging routine. After the doctor arrives in the chamber, he is checking up Tae right away then concludes.

"Mr. Jun has a normal vitality but it's really weird that he has a high fever"

"Then what would be the best to do, Doc?"

"We will need to further check-up, Mr. Jun because there are no health complications on his medical records."

"Yes Doc and let me call Mr. Jun family members first......" someone interrupted him.

Hearing that he will call his family members, Tae stops him and interrupt right away. "Sir, I'm alright"

"Yes you are alright Mr. Jun but you still have a high fever and for the whole week you've been acting, not yourself because either you suddenly collapse, feel unconscious, or in a daze, so to avoid something that might happen to you we will inform your family members."

"I'm really alright Sir and it's just that today is my wife will give birth today, so maybe that's why."

"Oh, then that would be more reasonable to call your family members especially to your wife". The platoon leader is not aware of Tae already a married man after all he is not into the entertainment world since the line of his family members is all from the military fields.

"Eh, b-----but ...…"

"Listen, Mr. Jun, I don't know what your reason for not seeing your wife but I guess it's more reasonable for you to visit her especially today since she will give birth. Though it's not my business as your platoon leader, I will need to tell you that you will be a burden to us if you will only get distracted and so just use your day-off today, well you do have 3 days to use so ...….."

"Copy Sir but I will come back tomorrow and as for the day-off permission I will give it tomorrow so thank you Sir" then right away Tae leaves the chamber after saluting his seniors [the military doctor and the platoon leader.]

The platoon leader got speechless for the first time while the military doctor taps his shoulder and said.

"I understand you Second Lieutenant Xi but as a husband itself, I understand Mr. Jun emotions right now because he really wants to see his wife and at the same time he doesn't want to see his wife because he might get tempted not to go back here, well Mr. Jun really have a very beautiful wife after all"

"Huh? And how did it connected not to go back here while having a very beautiful wife?"

"Ha, ha, ha, I see but I won't explain it to you Lieutenant Xi because later on, you will understand it on your own accord"

"Huh?" The platoon leader got more confused because after all he is a certified bachelor and he never tries flirting with a girl. He is really a popular one along with his colleagues but even the military ladies are initiating to flirt, he didn't take any glance and go back to do his tasks or mission.
