Chapter 535 - Vol 7: Ch 535 – Preparation

After seating from their assigned seats, all of them eat their pack lunch provided by the sponsors of the School Fair quietly. After eating they seat while waiting for the program to commence. Everyone didn't know that Ken got nervous until Rei said it.

"Relax Ken, you will be going to be alright and Jinyu will be with you, okay?"

"...…"

All kids except Ellyn react at the same time "eh no way, you're nervous Ken?"

"Everyone Bro Ken just looks relaxed but deep inside he's too nervous, so yes he is nervous."

"Eh, really but why we don't feel it?"

Rei answered the kids on behalf of Ken since he is just too nervous about his own "it can't be help kids, after all, it's his first time competing for school though all of you might be also your first time competing for this School Fair at least all of you did have the experience to represent your class for S Elite Academy competition and as for Ken, it's different from Ken after all he just skip grades right away and then become the representative so that's why he's too nervous, well he might already compete at school to decides who's going to represent but today will be different since it's a school fair."

Jinxi: I see but then how about Ellyn, Aunt Rei?

Rei: Ellyn already performs thrice before this competition though it's for family events, remember it's Meng wedding and then my wedding. [Rei didn't mention during the Christmas party since the kids are not in there so it will be useless if she mentions that one.]

Jinyu: [Remembering how he meets Ellyn for the first time he suddenly blush but then back to normal and comfort Ken] you will be going to be alright Ken after all we're here and most of all we've been brainstorming so no worries.

Ken: [He nodded and then looking to his Auntie before asking] Auntie Rei, can you call Mom, Dad, and Ren?

Rei: Okay I will.

The participants are not allowed to bring any devices or else they will be automatically disqualified for being suspected of cheating so Ken asks his Auntie to call them since his phone was left alone.

Ring, ring, and ring

"Hello Sis"

Rei notices right away that Mei answered her call in just a matter of seconds and then heard the same background noise "Mei?"

"Ha, ha, ha, yeah we're here and we're one of the spectators but don't say it to them, we want to surprise all of you but geez you're no fun at all."

"Ken wants to speak to the three of you"

"Okay" then Mei heard Rei say to Ken that it's Mom

"Hello, Mom?" Ken said using the Ceno Language.

"Hello, My Ken and don't be nervous okay? Win or lose you will be always our number one and so just do your best, okay?"

"Uh-uh but then my school is an undefeated school"

"Yeah but then your school selects you so they trust you and so you need to trust yourself just how we trust you. No matter what your results no one will blame you so just relax and be at ease but don't be to be overconfidence because it will kill you, so just always stay calm and relax"

"Uh-uh thank you, Mom and I'm alright now"

"That's my Ken and do you want to talk to your Brother and Dad?"

"Nah it's alright now Mom, you and Auntie Rei are enough for me. Bye-bye"

"Bye"

"Yes Auntie Rei, thank you"

"That's good to hear" and then Rei said the same thing as Mei "win or lose you will be always our number one and so just do your best, okay?"

Ken laughing after he heard that one from his Auntie.

"Did I say something wrong?"

"No it's not and it's because you just said what Mom said just now, Auntie Rei"

"I see"

Yuki: [First time hearing Ken talking to another language] eh, Ken what language did you talk just now?

Ken: Ceno Language and that's my original language, Bro Yuki. Eh, wait what's my original language. Janes, Ceno, Sean, or Universal Language?

Yuki: Huh?

All Kids except Jinyu got speechless.

Jinyu: You're back to your normal condition Ken

Ken: And since when did I become an abnormal one, huh?

At the same time, all of them heard the MC's announcement.

"Alright everyone either from the spectators, participants, in-charge, and scorer 10 minutes from now the Math Fair will be commencing. As for the participants please come to your assigned seats according to your school number entry"

All the participants are now leaving their family members and all the spectators except S'Lites sides gasped when they realized that the representative of their School are both a bunch of kids from their uniforms and all the participants are wearing their school uniforms to represent their schools. The MC didn't realize it yet since he is still giving instructions.

"Everyone please be quiet and silent please....." he pauses and continues "I'm now going to give instructions for our participants for the Math Fair hence at exactly 1 pm the competition will start and commence without pausing" again, he pauses for a moment then continue "okay, thank you for your cooperation everyone and now participants we have three levels for the Math Fair, the first level will be easy with a total of 100 questions and good for 15 Seconds per questions, the second level will be medium with a total of 50 questions and good for 30 Seconds per questions then the last level will be the hard one with a total of 25 questions and good for 1 minute per questions. All questions will be projected on this big screen here and all participants will answer on the Answer Tab Device found on your assigned table. Participants will use the time wisely because the question will move to the next question and so on as long as that it will connect to the Answer Tab Device. So if you happened to answer question number 1 beyond the time limit then it will be automatically the answer for question number 2. Participants, please raise your hands if all your Answer Tab Device are blinking." Everyone is raising their hands. "Okay that's good and it means that it's functioning well. Participants, please take note that the device will be blinking for you to answer each question and will be having a steady green light indicating the next questions. Any question?"

One of the participants raising the hands and already got a signal from the MCs to go on.

S Gifted International School and Academe: Sir, how do we know if it's not working?

"Good questions Miss from S Gifted International School and Academe, don't worry the device will be off if it's not working. So if it happened to not functioning well, the Math Fair Organizer will give another Answer Tab Device since they will get prompted that it won't work anymore but for participants, you don't need to get worried since it already tested many times before today's competition" everyone nodded while the one who asks him gives her thanks since her query got answered.

"I see and thank you, Sir"

"No problem and anything else here?"

S Ladies Academy: Is there's a device to let us know that it's already time over?"

"Thank you for reminding me about that one Miss, there's no device Miss and so you need to mind the time limit. So participants as I said awhile please mind the time and the Answer Tab Device will be on steady green light indicating for the next question." Everyone nodded "anyone else?" Then Ken raised his hand to ask one important question.

"Sir"

The MC's looking at him and quite dumbfounded before he said to him "ah boy, please go back to your Mom and we're having a competition here at exactly 1 pm" everyone participants are now looking to Ken's way and all participants got surprised and dumbfounded because of his appearance, though both Ken and Jinyu are tall as a Grade School Student then their face is still a babyface especially to Ken even though his turning 7.

"Uhm Sir, I'm one of S Elite Academy representative"

"Eh?"
