5 Meeting An Ran

"Yue'er.." The man was slightly surprised at his own action. It just slipped out of his mouth. He didn't know why but he had a feeling that if he didn't reach out to her, he would regret it forever. 

The man was Long Min, the second young master of the most powerful family, the Long Family. The Longs have ruled the Long empire for many generations and still maintained their position on the top. Although Long Min wasn't the eldest, he is the inheritor of the family. The eldest young master wasn't the least bit interested in wealth. He only cares about fame as he likes to be the center of attention. He is currently working as a top idol now.

There is a total of four young masters in the family. Although they are from a prominent family, there was no power struggle and in fact, they got along with each other well.

Just as he wanted to call her, the person beside him asked, "Are you okay, bro?" He answered, "I'm fine, I was just slightly distracted."

The other person who asked Long Min was his fourth brother, Long Jin. Long Jin is a president of a company that he made on his own. The company wasn't as powerful as the Longs but it wasn't to be trifled with either. 

When Long Min tried to find Jiang Yue's shadow, she was already gone. He at first intended to accept the owner of the mall's request in collaborating together and sign the contract but after seeing her, he felt a sense of loss and was not in the mood to do business.

Along the way, Long Jin wondered what was the relationship between those two. His brother was never interested in any woman before. He never even spared a glance for women. He would always feel disgusted when woman looked at him. That was just a mere look, don't mention touches. The people around him thought that maybe he was 'bent.' (gay) He had to admit that woman was stunningly beautiful but his brother was never interested in beauty. 

All of a sudden, Long Min stopped walking which startled Long Jin a bit. He was really bothered with that feeling. He really wanted to see her and caress her. He wanted her to stay with him twenty-four hours a day. He wanted to tie her up next to him. He had never felt this way. Every time he thinks about her, he would feel his heart beating abnormally.

Long Min mumbled something but Long Jin didn't catch it. When Long Min repeated again, Long Jin was awe-struck. His mouth was a big 'O.' 

'What? Am I dreaming? Did second brother just asked me how to capture a girl's heart? Is it that girl we saw before? God, I need to tell mom and dad later!!' he thought excitedly.

Long Min was losing his patience on the other side seeing his brother not replying. "Hey, did you hear me?" His question snapped Long Jin from his mind.

"Hm..make her dependent to you and think about you everyday." Long Jin replied. Then they started walking again. 

Unbeknownst to Jiang Yue, someone was planning something on her.

In a café inside the mall.

A girl panting heavily stood in front of Jiang Yue. The girl wasn't devastatingly beautiful like Jiang Yue but she was still beautiful. Even though she is pale in comparison, she had a cheerful personality that makes people comfortable around her while Jiang Yue has that noble aura around her. When the girl saw Jiang Yue, she was shocked to see the change in aura around her. It was An Ran, the person Jiang Yue was supposed to meet. 

"I'm sorry I'm late, Yue. I was dealing with some matter," she apologized. "It's fine," Jiang Yue replied. Then they ordered some drinks to fresh themselves up.

"So what happened? You didn't just suddenly changed your mind when you were so stubborn before, right? I'm glad that you did though." An Ran smiled.

"Ran'er, I'm sorry I didn't believe you before. I was so stupid to believe Jiang Mei. In the end, your words are true. She didn't have any good intentions to me and I found out that she and Jian Ming have something going on for a while." Jiang Yue smiled.

"WHAT?!! HOW DARE THEY?! I KNEW THAT JIANG MEI IS EVIL BUT I DIDN'T THINK SHE WILL DO THAT TO THAT POINT!! HOW COULD SHE STEAL HER SISTER'S BOYFRIEND?!! I KNEW JIAN MING WASN'T LOYAL TO--" An Ran smacked the table as she stopped talking thinking that her words might have hurt Jiang Yue.

"Calm down. I'm fine now. Besides, I won't believe those two anymore and I'll make them pay back soon." Jiang Yue declared with determination in her eyes.

"Okay, let me know if you need my help. I'll lend a hand." An Ran said. 

"Thank you." Jiang Yue was touched as tears dropped. An Ran was panicking on what to do. It was a funny and touching scene. After some time, Jiang Yue stopped crying and they reminisced their fun memories together before and did a shopping spree together.

'It's been a long time since I do shopping. I didn't get to do it often in my previous life because I was busy pleasing Jian Ming,' she sighed inside.

At night.

"Goodnight, I'm glad that you're having fun now, Yue." An Ran said relieved. 

"Thank you for today's company. I'm glad I could catch up with you." Jiang Yue replied and took a cab driving home. They were hesitant in leaving each other before until An Ran's dad told her to come home since there was an emergency.
