Chapter 166 - 166: A Frightening Announcement

A beautiful, peaceful and friendly environment of the entire school quickly ravaged by the thousands of sparrows that fell from the sky.

The roofs of the buildings, the wide field covered with dead birds that frightened of the students who witnessed everything.

One of the rooms near at the main entrance, Sebastian, Roy and Daniel waited for the perfect time to attack the witches from behind.

They could heard them laughing in the air as they watched the ordinary humans ran and looked for a place to save their lives.

Sebastian cursed countless times when he saw one of the witches turned a male student into a frog.

"Damn it! They're turning everyone into a hideous frog!"

"What? They can really do that shit?" asked Roy furiously. "Thank God Halora didn't come to school today." he whispered that suddenly calmed his entire system.

Out of nowhere, as they remained hidden, they heard a loud, horrible scream of a girl.

Daniel who stood up near the window called Sebastian and Roy. "You guys need to see this." he said.

But as soon as the two guys saw what was happening, they both closed their fists in anger.

"Hi, little girl! Since one of you turned into a frog, why don't you tell me what you want to be?" The witch with a short hair jumped off from the broomstick as she waited for an answer.

But the frightened girl shook her head in despair, called her mom and tried to ask for help.

The witch burst into laughter, looked intently into her eyes and quickly pointed her index finger to the girl that quickly turned to a white, beautiful snake.

"Ohh, look at her, crawling desperately to look for a shelter, right?"

The evil witch mocked on the little girl but not until the Queen of witches came that caught their attention.

Twenty witches gathered in the middle of the wide, green field. They were listening to Damara who knew the whole plan that gave the little girl the chance to escape.

Her friends who saw her sudden transformation called her name and it surprised them to death when the white snake looked where the voices coming from.

Roy couldn't believe that witches has the power to make everything they want to do with a whirl of their fingers. Without a blink of an eye, he watched the snake crawled eagerly away from the danger.

He wanted to go out and snatched that girl from the grass, but he knew, if he made a wrong move, he just put himself into the brink of death.

While the witches prepared for an attack, Sebastian took out his home from his pocket. Later he realized that Halora has been calling him twenty times and hundreds of text messages.

To his terror, he quickly dialed her number, fortunately, she picked up the phone.

"Hello, it's me Halora!"

"I've been calling you, Sebastian! Because I am too worried upon hearing from the neighborhood that the entire school were attacked by witches! It should be the thing that the nurse was about to tell us yesterday, am I right?"

Inside of her room, Halora panicked as she saw few of the neighborhood called for the police and authorities that could fight against them.

Her body shook in fear and she was worried about Roy and Zenith who went to school.

She sighed, waited for an answer until Sebastian said yes. It made her sad but she knew to herself that she can't defeat such evil creatures.

"I knew it! I saw it in my dreams and I can't forgive myself if anyone of you got hurt because of me!" She started to be hysterical, blamed herself for bringing bad luck to the entire school.

If only she didn't found the mysterious ring inside of Sebastian's room, things shouldn't be a problem. If only she knew about her past, her real identity, she should have avoided Sebastian and never messed out with the queen of evil witches.

"H– how about Roy and Zenith? Did you see them around, huh? Tell me they're with you right now, Sebastian!"

Sebastian closed his eyes, swallowed greedily as he imagined her face filled with tears and worries. He hoped he was there beside of Halora, wiping her tears away and made her feel safe and sound.

"Are they hurt? D– did something happened to the both of them? Please, please tell me–"

Roy snatched the phone from Sebastian's hand that notified Daniel at the window. He stood up, tightened up the grip on the sword but Sebastian looked at him and lifted his arm.

He watched Roy in front of him, spoke to Halora who was too worried of him and Zenith.

"Halora, it's me Roy!" he said, breathed heavily as he heard Halora's sob. He blinked his eyes, glanced up at the campus bad boy who stood coldly while his right hand on his pocket. "I am fine, so please stop crying or else I will be going right there to comfort you!"

Even how hard he tried to forget the love he felt for Halora, in the middle of danger and death, he only thought of Halora who were safe in her room.

And it caught Sebastian's attention, turned his head in awe, closed his fists but he chose to understand the situation.

He sighed, gritted his teeth until Daniel walked closer to him and he asked, "Is he Halora's best friend, isn't he?"

Sebastian shook his head but didn't say anything. "What should we do right now? I think witches are up to something serious! Like a precious wand that will bring them good fortune and eternal life and power!"

Both of them looked at the filthy field filled with witches. After a couple of minutes, Sebastian noticed that three of them vanished from the place.

At that exact moment, he suddenly sensed a frightening manifestation. He couldn't explain what it is not until a loud, creepy voice sounded off around the campus.

"May I request a beautiful yet vulnerable girl named, Halora to please proceed to the field."

"I repeat, Halora, please proceed to the field.." Damara, the queen of witches made an announcement that surprised everyone especially, Sebastian.
