Chapter 160 - 160: The Witches' Plan

Ms. San Diego conducted necessary check ups while the patient was still unconscious. She already reviewed Halora's history, fortunately, there was nothing serious to be afraid of.

But there's one thing that bothered her since the very moment Halora brought to the clinic.

She wondered why she would always unconscious everytime she checked her vitals. It's not a severe condition but she felt that there was a strong energy that controlled her body.

In front of the computer, she looked at the date and she noticed that there was a pattern.

"7, 13, 14, and 26!"

"If 7 is added by itself, it will be 14 and the same thing happened to 13th of the previous month!"

It confused her even more until she heard the door screeched. As far as she remembered, Sebastian went back to the gymnasium to get his things, she closed the door as it was one of the rules and regulations but this time around, it sounded different.

Her heart beat too fast as she slowly tried to see things from her desk. There was a small door that divided the room into two, and Halora lied right next to the empty bed near the door.

She ducked, covered her mouth while she heard loud footsteps closer to the patient.

"W– who's that girl in black?" Ms. San Diego thought when she finally got the chance to see the intruder.

She was wearing a witch's outfit that she only thought used as a costume to awaken Halora. But, the fear in her chest became too unbearable when she called Halora.

"Halora..."

"It's about time to wake up and give it back to me, Young Lady." The witch put her fingers on her arms, trailed off down to her palm and fingers as she searched for something small like a ring.

She whispered to hear ears, forcing her soul to go back to Halora's body but nothing happened.

"Sh*t! W– why are you not waking up, Young Lady? Don't make me angry, I am telling you!" spoke the witch with anger in her voice.

At her desk, Ms. San Diego blinked her eyes countless times. She couldn't believe what she saw until she reached for her cellular phone on the top of the table until she accidentally pushed the wireless mouse as it fell into the floor that caught the witch's attention.

Her eyes widened as she listened to the sound of her heart. She panicked, looked for a better place to hide away from the danger that awaits.

"Huh! Huh! Huh!"

She was breathing heavily, crawled under the small table, and blocked the chair that protected herself at the moment.

Silently, the evil witch walked into the small door, opened it slowly, and looked for the thing that disturbed her earlier.

"What is this tiny, yet disturbing thing on the floor?" the witch murmured as she kicked it angrily until it broke into pieces. "I shouldn't have wasted my time for nothing!"

Before leaving, Damara looked around the entire room but everything inside seemed to be unfamiliar to her. She was about to walk towards the door when she noticed that there were things written on the computer's screen.

As she stooped closer and closer, under the table, Ms. San Diego covered her mouth and let her face filled with sweats. One wrong move and she will be caught in action.

"Huh! Please go a– away!" she said in despair until she saw that the witch slowly pulled the chair. "N–no! Don't do it, please! Please, just leave us alone!"

Her lips turned pale, her knees trembled in fear but she knew, she has no power to defeat the powerful intruder.

"Huh, if she refuses to give it back to me, I have no choice but to attack the entire place with other witches tomorrow morning!" Damara said.

However, a loud sound came from the door echoed around the clinic. To her horror, Damara quickly searched for a way to escape until she found nothing but a small window.

"Sh*t! There's no way to get off from here!" she cursed, walked back and forth and thought a better way to escape. "It must be the alpha!" she added that gave a heart attack on the nurse who stayed calm and surprised.

As she couldn't think how to flee, she went closer to the small hole where she saw Sebastian alone. There was a lot of stuff with him and a black bag that he put aside for the moment.

"Huh, I should have killed you that moment. You will never be a powerful threat to all of us and to end your superiority, all I need is the ring of magical powers."

"A– alpha? M– ma– magical powers?" Ms. San Diego gulped, listened very carefully to the witch's voice. She never thought that those creatures still existed in the modern world. "But I have to warn everyone about their plans! I have to be safe and get out from here no matter what!"

Out of eagerness she felt, she took a deep, long sigh of relief. After all the fuss, the fear that almost paralyzed her entire system, suddenly vanished from the moment she saw how witch transformed into a big, awful sparrow.

It quickly escaped through the small window that left her speechless.

"Hello, Ms. San Diego? Are you still there?" spoke Sebastian as he knocked on door thrice and thought that she already left. "I just want to ask if someone visited Halora because the door is wide open the moment I arrived here."

She hurriedly pushed the chair away, crawled out from the small place and she said, "I– I am here! B– but, but I need some water, please!"

Because of her hollow, shaky voice, Sebastian quickly banged the door and found her leaning back to the wall, weak and sweating profusely.

To his torment, he stayed at the moment and tried to synchronized what just happened before he arrived.

"W– water, p– please... g–give me s– some water!" she beg as she almost forgot how to breath at ease.
