Chapter 126 - 126: I Messed Up Everything Tonight

To his surprise, Sevastian remained silent and speechless. He never imagined that his parents, who both wanted the best for their son had told him that they liked a particular girl.

He scoffed, put the fork and knife aside and took the glass of water. "Excuse me, why we abruptly jumped to Halora? She's not even worth to be talked about."

His voice turned low but the more he denied it, the stronger it grow as the times goes by.

"Don't hide it from us, Sebastian. We know you, we can see everything through your eyes and there's no point of denying it all of the time."

"Your mother is right, if you like Halora that much. Why don't you invite here for a dinner date with us, what do you think about it, hon?"

Sebastian was literally speechless as he thought they will never like Halora at all. Their status was completely different but for his parents, it was not an issue and basis of a good wife.

Sarah Woo giggled as she imagined things like what her husband said. Her eyes twinkled as she saw Halora beside Sebastian wearing a glowing red dress and red stiletto.

Abruptly, she snapped her fingers, touched Stevenson's hand and she replied, "You're father got it all! Of course, I acted like I didn't like her and I planned to hide it until you confess the truth but your father ruined everything!"

At that moment, Sebastian hit the table, narrowed his brows. "What? And why would do that, mom?"

However, no one answered but Sarah gave him a sign of peace. She looked like a teenager that made Sebastian gasped in distress.

Furiously, he stared at them but deep inside, he wanted to scream and glorify that his parents gave the sovereignty to decidee for himself.

"How many times do I have to tell you that she's only my tutor! No more, no less!"

Every word that was emphasized made Sarah and Stevenson speechless. But the real reason why their eyes widened, paused for a moment and gulped greedily.

Sebastian looked at his mother's epic reaction and she was staring at something behind him. He gasped, breathed heavily and poured the water to the empty glass in front of him.

"L– lo– look b– behind you, S– Sebastian!"

"And why would I do that? For sure, you're just trying to scare me, mom." he replied as he didn't realize that someone heard everything he said that hurt her feelings.

But Sarah Woo banged the table and she said, "She's right behind you!"

A flush crept into her face as she saw tears that fell into Halora's cheeks. She felt that she was hurt and as much as she wanted to comfort her, can't mess up the situation.

Confusingly, Sebastian quickly turned around on them and realized that his mother was not lying to him.

He panted, breathed enough air when he heard her sobbing. As quick as the flash of lightning, guilt flaunted on his face while Stevenson remained silent and watched at them in his seat.

"H– how long have you been standing there, H– Halora?"

Everyone held their breath when she bowed her head and looked at her feet. She was crying but she earned enough courage and pretended that she was completely fine and just arrived a few seconds ago.

"I... I just c– came here to give you this. A– and I m– must leave now!" Halora said.

But before she leave, she looked at Sarah and Stevenson's eyes and apologized for her sudden arrival. She was sorry and heartbroken until she turned around on them and ran away to the mansion's main entrance.

Sebastian wiped his face angrily as he knew that Halora was lying. He knew she heard everything but still, she denied it in front of him.

"Damn it!"

"What are you doing! Go and follow her, for heaven's sake!" Sarah was devastated by what happened.

She couldn't find the exact word as her emotions mixed up inside of her body.

Sebastian took a deep breath, looked at his eyes and he said, "If you don't like her stay here, and if you do so, stand up and follow her and do not come back until you fix it. Do you understand?"

Right then, he excused himself from them. He was eager to follow Halora at that moment as he can't sleep the entire night if he won't have the chance to explain his side.

"Wait for me, Halora! Please, wait for me!" he whispered to the cold when Greg saw the young master grabbed his favorite jacket.

Greg was about to accompany him when Stevenson suddenly spoke from behind, "Let him fix the things he just ruined. And I know he can solve it tonight."

"Yes, My Lord." Greg replied shortly.

On the other side, Sebastian reached the mansion's tall gate yet Halora was nowhere to be seen. He cursed, blamed himself for hiding his feelings for Halora.

He was about to use his car when he saw someone coming with a white sports car. He moved aside, breathed heavily when he saw and recognized the driver's face.

"Hey, man, I'm sorry for coming late! I almost forgot about it."

"I– it's fine but fuck! I just messed up everything tonight!"

Roy quickly opened the door and went out from the car. He walked closer to him, looked throughout the peaceful place as if he was searching for someone else.

He said, "What do you mean? D– don't tell me–"

"I know! I know I was a jerk but heaven knows how much I like her! B– but goddamn it, she came here to give my phone back and heard what I've said earlier! Shit!"

He kicked off the ground angrily and his face has turned red. Sebastian has lost his control and regretted it.

But there was no time for regret and guilt. He must take an action, follow Halora and talk to her no matter what.

"Get into the car, now!"

Roy quickly ran back to the driver's seat and fastened the seat belt right away. But he saw that Sebastian didn't move from the spot where he stood at the moment.

He frowned, rolled his eyes as he started the engine, "Sebastian, I said, get into the car, now!"

Right then on, Sebastian came back to his senses when Roy yelled at him. He has no idea how to explain it to Halora but one thing he was sure of– he just fell in love with her and it was surreal.
