Chapter 117 - 117: Counting On You

Fear flaunted to their face as the car moved too fast. It felt like they were in a race that needed to be at the finish line before someone else in able to win.

But, the thing was different. They were inside of a black car, screaming, yelling and afraid to look back as they knew two cars obviously chased them.

"What should we do?! Someone is following us!" Sandra almost collapse because of the fear she felt. She looked back behind and she confirmed that two cars followed them for some reason.

"Hold tight, and ignore them." he said in a calm voice.

Sebastian held the steering wheel as tight as he could. He didn't miss a chance and a single mistake will lead them to death.

He gasped, looked at Roy quickly and he said, "Can you get my phone from my pocket? I can't get off my eyes in the road."

"Let me drive then," Roy sarcastically replied.

But suddenly, Sandra stooped and twisted Roy's right ear. He growled in pain, stared at her angrily but before he could hit her, Sandra lifted her middle finger.

She said, "Throw your ego this time around, jerk! Get his phone out of his pocket and give it to me, now!"

That moment, Halora stayed calm as she secretly looked behind. She noticed that the two cars was abruptly vanished but she still felt their presence.

"Give it to Halora!"

"H– Halora?"

Sandra and Roy looked at Halora who was surprised. She blinked her eyes, bowed her head while Roy gave the phone to her.

He said, "Keep my phone for now. I can't concentrate driving because of it."

Halora has no choice but to accept Sebastian's phone and put it into the pocket of her favorite black backpack. To divert Roy and Sandra's attention, she wiped the lens of her eyeglasses while Sandra rolled her eyes and looked at the window.

But suddenly, a Camaro red car showed up and someone tried to break the window where Sandra looked at.

She screamed, moved closer to Halora as she looked too frightened. "W– what the hell was that?! Why are they following us?"

"Tell her to calm down or all of them will be captured by robberies."

"Robberies? At this place?" Roy insisted that robberies won't stay at the place where in surrounded with people and lamp posts.

It was impossible as he thought but the truth was... they were being chased by werewolves.

Halora said, "They're not robberies."

Sandra narrowed her eyes when she realized that she almost kiss Halora's neck. She was too close to her that gave her a sudden goosebumps and a bolt of a sudden lightning.

"W– what are you talking about? Can't you see? Their face was covered with a black net or... or whatever they call that fcking thing!"

The car was filled with swearing words and annoying screams. Sandra never thought that after their trip, a horrible thing would happen.

If only she had predicted the future, she shouldn't have forced her father to give her the permission to stay at the mansion. She should have obeyed the school's staff for their next destination rather than just of being a selfish queen.

Roy tilted his head as he agreed to Halora. He didn't know why but he sensed an odd feeling towards the man who tried to break the window earlier.

"I think Halora is right. If they want to rob from us, then they should have do it at the mansion! There's a lot of things in the place but still, they let us leave safely because they had other intentions."

"I agree with you, Roy. And no matter what happen, take my place and bring them back to the Mañosa Hotel! And Halora, I want you to call Greg when you need some help. Do you understand?"

"What are you talking about, man? Come on, don't try to fool us in the middle of a hide and seek situation!"

Roy raised his voice on him as she couldn't bear to carry all the weight and burden. He was not afraid to take Sebastian's place but rather of an unexpected death.

Sebastian quickly turned to the left and avoided the crowded road. He had to keep the majority safe instead of himself.

"I tried calling mom and dad but they didn't pick up the call! Then I tried to send them a voice message and it always said, message failed!"

Sandra's red eyes filled with tears as she couldn't contact her parents. She tried her best, dialed all of her friends' number but later she found out that there were no signal in the place.

Roy took a deep, log sigh in despair. He was about to call the cops for help but he just surrendered and put back his phone to his pocket.

"Hahahaha! You have nowhere to go now, Sebastian!"

A loud, mischievous voice sounded off around the road as one of the passengers on the red Camaro spoke. He was wearing a black jacket, a hat and his face was covered with a cloth that was hard to recognize.

But Sebastian remained calm. He then smiled, looked at Roy who looked frightened and surprise.

"Stop the car and give one of the girls to us! I promise, we won't hurt her." Another man said.

But Sebastian gritted his teeth, turned around the car that shocked the enemies behind. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you take any of them!"

As he loudly replied, he took a deep breath and listened to the sound of the wheels. "It's about time." He thought.

And by that moment, he nodded his head, prepared himself to complete the sudden task.

"In three... two... one..."

He began to count, while Halora and Sandra closed their eyes, covered their eyes as they reached the end of the dark, secluded rocky Road.

"Switch position!"

Fortunately, they has successfully shifted. Roy suddenly chuckled as he perfectly seated at the driver's seat and his hands was on the steering wheel.

He then looked beside him and realized that Sebastian has gone.

"Sebastian?"

"Sebastian!"

He called his name but he saw that window was wide opened and he heard a loud, heavy sound at the car's top.

"Drive safely, dude. I am counting on you and wait for me before midnight!"

Roy heard loud screams from behind and he felt that the heavy weight on the roof had vanished instantly.
