"Grandma, I suggest you surrender before I kill your pet!" Yang Zhang warned this was the last thing he could do to stop the old lady from attacking him relentlessly.

But contrary to his expectation, the old woman didn't even budge when Yang Zhang threatened to destroy Vinocious, the big Ivy.

"G—Grandma, I can command my pets to literally tear and burn your mutated plant! Surrender now and tell your plant to stop attacking!"

"You should probably do that if you can, I've already set this mutated plant to attack until it got destroyed. It will never stop until you kill it, young man," the old woman said. She looked at Vinocious and ordered, "Vinocious, unleash all your vines and attack them!"

"HRRRRRR!"

Vinocious roared and unleashed six more vines, so he had 12 vines swinging around, ready to attack them all. Six vines were holding knives, and the rest didn't, but if you were caught by any of those vines, then you were dead meat!

Yang Zhang observed the situation right now. Chestnut was clinging desperately on Vinocious body, while Lt. Spicy Wing was busy trying to heat its body and ready for that big attack.

Yang Zhang checked on Spicy Wing, whose body emanated an orange aura. The little chick was almost ready for that one big attack.

Then he checked on his gauntlet gun, "Only 3 pebbles left," Yang Zhang counted.

He checked the vines swinging wildly on the air and saw whether his pets were safe from them.

"HRRRR!"

Yang Zhang saw Vinocious start aiming at Chestnut, who covered its eyes. When the vines with knives attacked Chestnut, he quickly fired three shots to deflect them all.

Then he counted the number of vines without knives that tried to grab Chestnut, and he opened his left palm, "Little Ivy, show yourself! Summon four vines and grab them all!"

Little Ivy that had been hiding inside Yang Zhang's sleeve the whole time, finally showed herself. She stretched four vines and aimed at the vines without knives.

She grabbed those vines to stop them from reaching Chestnut.

The old woman was surprised, "Wow, I didn't expect you to have another trick in your sleeve. You've been hiding that one as your trump card, huh?"

"She is not really a fighter. That's why I don't want to put her into a dangerous situation," Yang Zhang replied. "But that's not important. Grandma, this is the last warning before I burn your plant, stop now, or it will die for real!"

Grandma still didn't budge, and the smile on her face widened, "There is no way for me to stop this plant. That's not how my ability works."

Yang Zhang's eyes widened. The old woman just told him that she wasn't a normal human with immunity.

"You are…"

"Yes, I am an ability user," Grandma said. She didn't look nervous after revealing something that was supposed to be life-threatening for her. "Kill that plant, or it will kill us all."

Yang Zhang gulped. He didn't feel wrong when he killed zombies. But mutated plants like this… since he had three mutated pets, he got a bit of sentimental value about them.

"That plant won't stop until you kill it, young man."

Yang Zhang clenched his fist and nodded. He looked at Lt. Spicy Wing, whose aura had turned red, ready to attack under Yang Zhang's command.

"Hrrrr…" Vinocious stopped struggling after Yang Zhang restraint its movement with the help of Little Ivy and blinded it with Chestnut.

Yang Zhang commanded, "Spicy Wing, now! Charge straight to its body!"

"BURN IT! HABANERO CHICKEN TACKLE!!" Yang Zhang gave out the order, and Lt. Spicy Wing charged straight at the vulnerable mutated big Ivy.

"CHIIIRRP!"

Lt. Spicy Wing tackled the big mutated Ivy and actually pierced straight to Vinocious's body with its extreme heat.

"HRRRR!!" Vinocious groaned in pain as its body was engulfed with flame soon after.

"Guys, return to me now! Ivy, release your vines!"

"Vii!"

"Chirp!"

"Squeak, Squeak!"

Lt. Spicy Wing and Chestnut rushed back to Yang Zhang, and they watched the big Ivy grimaced in pain as its body was burning.

It was such a horror for Yang Zhang because he could see that Vinocious was in obvious pain, but the old woman didn't seem to worry much.

"Hrrr…"

The fire started to get out of control. It would possibly burn the greenhouse and them both, "Grandma! Let's leave! We will die here!" Yang Zhang yelled. His eyes were already looking at the door.

Grandma chuckled and pressed a switch on the wall, and five emergency fire sprinkles popped from the ceiling and rained them all.

Grandma took an umbrella on the wall behind her and watched Vinocious. The mutated ivy slowly died, and the hall of its vines had turned into ashes.

She looked at Yang Zhang and tilted her head slightly, "What a pity, hm? That one is such a fine mutated specimen that I found."

"But it's fine. There are tons of mutated plants in the wild. I can just find one or two of them later."

Yang Zhang watched the death of the mutated plant, and stared straight at the old lady, "Grandma, what is the meaning of this? Why are you suddenly attacking me, and about your ability…."

"You have a lot of questions, I see," Grandma giggled lightly. "How about we have a talk after you dry yourself. You're soaked from head to toe.. Come, I'll serve you a cup of tea."
