Xia Yangyang trailed behind Gu Qichen as they walked out of the airport.

For some reason, she felt rather down.

Gu Qichen didn’t look surprised at all. Surprise aside, there wasn’t even a slight emotion visible on his face.

But Xia Yangyang had noticed that his footsteps seemed more hurried.

So he just wanted to get home?

Gu Qichen’s chauffeur was waiting outside.

He spoke to the chauffeur, “Give me the car keys and you can go. I’ll drive home.”

The chauffeur got out and Gu Qichen sat in the driver’s seat.

Xia Yangyang silently opened the back door and was about to put her foot in.

“In front,” he said suddenly.

Xia Yangyang obediently closed the door and rounded the car to the front seat.

She muttered under her breath, “Isn’t it the same wherever I sit.”

Xia Yangyang buckled her seat belt but realized that Gu Qichen hadn’t started the car. He was looking at her with an odd gaze.

His gaze was deep and intense, just like a deep, dark and mysterious ocean in the night. She was about to drown inside with just a glance.

Xia Yangyang was getting uneasy and nervous. “Why are you looking at me? Is there anything on my face?”

Gu Qichen replied stoically, “Yes. Come nearer and I’ll rub it off.”

She really thought she had dirt on her face. Without hesitation, she inched her face closer to him.

Who knew that Gu Qichen would move swiftly and his lips landed on hers.

The kiss was lingering and somewhat domineering and forceful.

Incredibly, Xia Yangyang could sense the raging desire inside of Gu Qichen.

She was a little worried and distraught.

The car was parked in the open carpark. There were so many people and cars around them.

However, she knew that the windows were specially tinted and no one could see them inside.

But at the thought of this, Xia Yangyang was still rather tense. She gripped Gu Qichen’s hand, which was under her clothes right now. “Let’s go back home first… All right?”

Xia Yangyang’s face was flushed and her eyes were misty. It was obvious that she was aroused as well.

Gu Qichen had always felt that he had excellent self-control, but for some reason, he just couldn’t resist Xia Yangyang, who resembled a little kitten right now.

But he knew how easily embarrassed and shy she could be. Yet, her shyness was what drove him to pin her under him, and act according to his wishes.

Gu Qichen suppressed the burning desires and kissed her deeply one last time. “I’ll let you off for now and get you to pay me back twice when we get home.”

He then carefully arranged Xia Yangyang’s disheveled clothes.

The car moved swiftly on the roads and her spirits had soared substantially.

Even the unhappiness she had experienced in school had vanished.

The car entered the road leading to Maple Pavilion Manor.

After they entered the house, Gu Qichen lifted Xia Yangyang off her legs and carried her.

She let out a soft shriek and instinctively grabbed his neck with both hands.

He began to kiss her passionately. They were apart for three days, but he acted as though they hadn’t seen each other for three months.

Xia Yangyang had to admit that she missed him too.

These feelings caught her by surprise as she wasn’t aware of them. It seemed as though she had to seek relief and comfort from his kisses and that the tension in her body would be relieved by being in proximity to his body.

Xia Yangyang blushed as she responded to him.

They started from the entrance to the stairs, to the corridor and the bedroom, and finally, both of them landed on the soft, spacious bed.

Gu Qichen nibbled her ear and a deep, masculine voice entered her ears. “Miss me?”

“Yeah.” Xia Yangyang replied honestly.

“Do you love me?”

“Yeah.” Xia Yangyang was losing consciousness.

She was only aware that her body seemed to be on fire and she had no idea what she had said…
