Chapter 33 - Mermaid Island

This island has dozens of cherry trees.

I can see there are several people. Uh? I mean some Gods are waiting for us to come.

We drew closer to them. There is an old woman. Probably around 70 years old. That woman is carrying a stick that looks like a big lollipop, I think... hahaha.

Beside the old woman, there was a beautiful woman. She wears a beautiful and luxurious crown on her head.

Women also carry sticks like those made of crystal, at the end of which are precious stones.

And next to him again I saw a very beautiful woman. Younger than the two women next to him. Her hair is beautiful, I think she's a princess from this country.

"Grandma!" Vin ran towards the woman who was carrying the lollipop-shaped stick. Ah, it turns out she is Gil and Vin's grandmother.

Vin hugged his grandmother tightly. However, there was displeasure from the crowned woman next to him.

"You just miss your grandma, Vin? Don't you miss your mother, my prince?" The woman spoke, pursing her lips.

Vin smiled brightly like the sun, and hugged the two women in front of him.

"Mom, I missed you so much too!"

Gil also joins them. Gil burst into his mother and grandmother's arms.

I turned to Sifeng for a moment.

Sifeng turned his face the other way. Sifeng didn't want to look at me.

"Who are they?" Gil's mother, approaching us.

"This is Zhang Yushen Brother, and this is his younger brother, Zhang Sifeng Brother. Those who helped us when we were injured, Mother."

Vin said while embracing us. I smiled and nodded, saluting Vin's mother.

Sifeng was silent. He occasionally looks up. I felt if Sifeng was trying really hard to keep the tears from falling, right now. I know very well Sifeng's hurt feelings, every time I see a harmonious family.

"We are very grateful for your help. Now, it's our turn to host you," said Gil and Vin's mother.

Gil's grandmother and mother, were very friendly to us.

And regarding Sifeng. My brother is still wearing a gloomy face. Really, I don't like this situation. I don't want Sifeng to be sad. I gripped Sifeng's hand tightly.

"Calm down, A-Feng! I'm always with you, My Little Brother!"

Sifeng immediately let go of my hand.

"Why are you always trying to tease me, Zhang Yushen? Stop it, or I'll really fall in love with you!"

Hahaha, I couldn't help but laugh at Sifeng's words. I know it's just an attempt to cover up the sadness. I know that Sifeng feels comfortable when I hold his hand. Only, Sifeng was embarrassed to admit it.

Mermaid Island.

Vin and a girl headed for a bathhouse. This girl is a princess from this mermaid land. The mother of Vin and Gil, comes from Mermaid Country. This girl is a cousin of Gil and Vin. This girl that Yushen called a proud and spoiled daughter earlier.

"Sharon Sister, I haven't pulled my tail out in a long time." Vin entered the water in a pool whose edges were made of precious stones. Vin turns into a mermaid prince when he enters the pool.

"Come here, My Sister! We can shower together like we used to, can't we?" Vin said.

Vin splashed water at the girl by wagging his shiny tail.

Well, her name is Princess of the Mermaid Country, Princess Sharon Gergiona. She is still a close relative of Gil and Vin.

Princess Sharon is the daughter of her older sister Queen Eliz. In other words Vin and Sharon are cousins. Both are grandchildren of the Mermaid Queen of this Mermaid Land, Her Majesty Queen Lottie.

The beautiful girl was avoiding the splash of water from Vin.

"Aw, stop it, Vin! You're all grown up now, how could I ever want to take a bath with you again, huh? You're not the little kid I used to bathe with! It's embarrassing if we shower together." Sharon said.

"Come on, Sis! Don't we usually take a bath together, huh?" Vin is still trying to persuade. Vin who was innocent, did not understand their current situation which was both great.

"Hahaha, we do often bathe together. But, that was decades ago, Vin. Now that you've grown into a handsome prince, big brother doesn't want to bathe together anymore! That's embarrassing!" said Princess Sharon.

Sharon left Vin to bathe alone in the pool.

Vin looks very disappointed. Vin even protruded his lower lip at this time. "Oh no! Do I look that old, huh?" Vin muttered, disappointed.

Gil takes Yushen for a walk around the palace of Mermaid Country. Yushen really admired this place. What a beautiful palace this is. There are various rock ornaments, like being at the bottom of the ocean. In fact, it was clearly on the ground and there was air around Yushen.

Yushen had time to pat his cheek to make sure that this wasn't just a dream. Turns out, this is real. Truly the World of Gods is real, not only in fantasy films. Yushen said to himself.

Sifeng enjoyed a meal with Lord Jack, Queen Eliz and Mermaid Queen Lottie. There are various foods of the mortal world available on the table. However, it seemed that Sifeng was not interested at all.

Sifeng was simply enjoying the alcohol of this Land of Gods.

"Really, Uncle! This alcohol is very different from the one in our world. Although the taste is a little strange, but I like this alcohol. It feels like my whole body is excited when I drink this alcohol. Cheers!"

"Hahaha, we like that you enjoy this banquet, Son." Lord Jack had a drink with Sifeng.

Queen Eliz and Mermaid Queen just smiled at their behavior. To think that their leader, could be this familiar with mortals.

At first, Mermaid Queen Lottie didn't like anything related to the Human World. But, after Gil and Vin told how they had been helped by humans, now the Mermaid Queen began to like Yushen and Sifeng.

The Mermaid Queen is now convinced that not all mortals are cruel. Not all humans like to eat water creatures. In fact, the Mermaid Queen didn't know that Yushen actually really liked sea food.

Queen Eliz, Gil and Vin's mother, stroked Sifeng's head. "You remind us of our eldest son, Son," said Queen Eliz.

Sifeng was taken aback. There was a sense of nervousness when a woman stroked his head. Sifeng had never been treated this warmly before. So, Sifeng felt awkward.

"Where is your child, Queen?" Sifeng asked.

"My eldest son is now in another land. He is very different now. Ever since my eldest son became king of a region, there has only been tension on his face. Not like my old son anymore. The one who likes to drink and joke with me." Queen Eliz said while looking down sadly.

"Never mind, my wife! This is Glen's own choice. We must respect our sons' choices. He's not a kid anymore, remember?" Lord Jack responded. He kissed his wife's hand.

Sifeng smiled bitterly at this time. In his entire life, Sifeng had never witnessed Master Zhang and Madam Wang's romance. There's just bickering all the time.

Sifeng suddenly remembered his stepmother. Although Madam Wang never thought of Sifeng as a child, Sifeng always thought of Madam Wang as his mother.

The mother who although very mean to Sifeng, but in Sifeng's deepest heart, only Madam Wang as his mother.

Even after living together for a dozen years, until now Madam Wang did not allow Sifeng to call her "Mama".
