81 Where is Belle?

Andrew Lewis had a vast of network coverage. He is well connected in the business circles and as well as in the underground arena. He can find someone with no identity less than a day. He will flip up-side-down a country when it was needed.

His search for Belle Yang tested his sources as well as his patience. In his experience it was imposssible for a person to vanish in thin air. It was more like someone was hindering him to find Belle.

Who could it be?

It was night time and he was sorting out his leads. He will not stop until he will find something and until he will not learn the truth about her disappearance. He knew that they caused her fall but it was a payback for what she had done. It was not like they were bound to hate her for their entire lifetime. Thus, he wanted to find the woman and if she will accept, they will treat her as a family but of course, she will not be readily accepted by the whole Lincoln. At least, it was he thought.

The last time he heard about her was she was in Fang Shan. She was hiding in the forest with Mr. Ren Tao, her assistant.

Then Ren Tao got arrested or more or like he surrendered and claimed all the crimes Belle committed including Misha and Lyndon's incident. He said that he acted out of anger and out of pity towards Belle. He even admitted that he committed the horrendous crime that happened in Fang Shan and presented the weapon he used.

But he never mention Belle and whenever the police would ask him, he said that he did not know because Belle suddenly disappeared. He also said that Belle was innocent about it. She did not know about his actions. He was the only one did it and no one directed him.

It was ridiculous to the Lincoln and Lewis family. They both knew what happened at the small church. It was Belle that pulled the trigger and wielded the sword against the couple.

As for what was his reason for admitting it, he said that he could not take that Belle was viewed as merciless and heartless demon. He also said that he treated Belle as her younger sister thus he could not swallow the insults directed towards Belle.

Andrew Lewis knew that the man is too sentimental and it was out of character. He was an assassin and he was hired to kill Belle before but he could not beat the woman, so he changed sides and became her right hand man.

Andrew kept staring at the report about Belle but he could not point where things suddenly gone wrong. He was on the right track on monitoring her but she suddenly disappeared.

Then the recent report he got from his informant on country S. It contained a blury picture of a woman who was wearing a veil and it entirely covered her face but it was her eyes that he recognized. She was with a man that was clad in a white suit and the sun burnt skin of the man is clearly shown in the picture. He knew that it was Belle.

However, his instincts tell him that the man on the picture is not an ordinary man. He knew it because of his stature. He had that dignified and dangerous aura around him. Though the picture was blurred, he can feel it.

Nonetheless, he still wanted to know if the report was true or not.

He flew to country S and personally confirmed with the informant that the woman was Belle. He then called Lyndon to inform him.

"Belle is in country S." he directly said. "She's with a man and I can tell that he's quite with power more or so, more powerful than you."

"Hmm. I will tell Misha about it. And by the way, your great grandchildren is about to be born, you should head back for the meantime. I'll handle the rest from now on." Lyndon said in a serious tone.

"Okay. This old man won't be missing the joyous occation. I'll head back immediately." he said with excitement.

"Okay. Take care Grandpa and see you soon." Lyndon wished before hanging up on the phone.

He thought of one person when country S is mentioned. Mikhail Khaled, one of the three kings.

He was at his office when he received the call from his grandfather-in-law. It was about time to head home and he finished the necessary documents for the day before heading to the elevator.

He climbed up to the driver's seat and pulled the compartment under his seat and got a phone under.

He pressed the on button. The cellphone was revived and he pressed the speed dial for a number and pressed it to his ear.

After a few rings, someon from the other end picked it up but the other person did not talk.

"Where is Belle?" Lyndon asked in a serious tone but the other end did not speak again. He put down his phone and after a while, a message from the same number popped in the notification bar.

"Here with me." those three words confirm his suspicion. Belle was with Mikhail all this while. He knew that the man could be trusted so he switched off his phone and put it back inside the compartment under his seat.

He drove away from L&L building and headed towards home. He knew that Belle is safe from any kind of harm if she's with Mikhail.
