57 Out of Danger

Rodora woke up from fainting. She was hysterical upon waking up. Albert was not beside her when she was crying non-stop out of fear that she might lose another son again. She pleaded the nurse who checked her to call her husband for her. The nurse complied though and walked out in the room where Rodora rested.

The intercom of the hospital rang and paged the name of Albert Lincoln. He immediately went to the room where Rodora was. Albert reassured his wife that nothing will happen to Lyndon and Misha. Thinking about it, he became flustered because of the arrival of the different doctors in the hospital. He nearly forgot that Shane came from a prominent family in Country A and their family originated in Italy. The Lewis Empire is the biggest company in that country. It even hold a great significance in the country's economy like how did the Lincoln Corporation did in the Country P.

With this, he felt reassured that Lyndon and Misha will be able to get pass through this ordeal. He wanted to callthe Lewis Patriarch. Maybe he can help them get ahold of the culprit of this mess. He knew that it is related to his late son, Leonard.

If not, why would that demoness came here personally to gun down his son? They might be thinking that Leonard is still alive and he's living in the persona of Lyndon. But they were entirely wrong because Leonard was long dead and it was also because of them.

He got out from the room and walked towards the rooftop where it's less populated. He made the call.

The doctors have been analyzing the case of Misha as it was more critical than of Lyndon's. Her heart was almost ruptured. A huge slit was formed in the muscle and many of the arteries were cut and it caused severe damage to Misha's heart.

The other thing they're worried about was that, she lost a lot of blood too and her brain seems not functioning. She doesn't even reach 80% of survival. Mostly, it will be just 50% chance but they were the most skilled doctors of Country A, so how could not they take the challenge? Though. Misha's case is one of the rarest, they encountered slightly similar case of her back in the country.

After thirty minutes of closed door meeting, they spread across the hospital performing each duties.

First, they attended Lyndon's gun shot. The operation was not smooth but he has higher chance of survival. There were times that his heart rate would gone down and almost went to flat but they managed to revive him every time, somehow. They often said in the operating room that the young CEO was such a fighter. They operated him nearly for about two hours and after, they declared that Lyndon is out of danger. They also examined his lungs and according to them, it's not fatal. Though, he will have a difficulty in breathing, it was on the normal level and besides, he had an oxygen aiding him for the air. The doctors were not that worried for him. And they also said, he will wake up after a week of long rest.

Albert finished his call to the Lewis' Patriarch. He basically told him everything and the one who stabbed and gunned the newly weds.

It brought anger to the old man who's still at the small island that he wanted to gift to Misha and Lyndon. He immediately wrapped things up for him to fly back to Country A.

Albert learned that Lyndon was out of danger and his operation was successful, he immediately rushed back to the room where Rodora stayed but she was not there. She did not come outside the operating room either. He was baffled as to where could have Rodora gone to. Maybe she's just somewhere, releasing her frustration. It's the only solution that came up to Albert.

He went outside the operating room and he's right on time that Lyndon will be moved into one of the private rooms for his further recuperation.

Seeing his son up-close and his complexion were a lot better, he could only feel relief in the inside. He wanted Rodora to witness this miraculous scene yet, she's nowhere to be found. He thanked the surgeons again and again for saving his son. He felt deep gratitude in them and he wanted to express it but the surgeons declined. It's because of the old patriarch Lewis. They are all indebted to the old man and performing his request is not something they can't decline.

Michele and Shane was silent. They did not even talk. But Shane wanted to know the truth from her. He wanted to ask who was the woman who stabbed Misha mercilessly. He wanted to know why. Why would that woman, wanted his princess dead?

"Baby..." he said after the long silence between them.

Michele kept thinking of Belle. She did not know why Belle would shoot Lyndon and stabbed Misha. As she know, the Yang's have flourished till now and her daughter was living in good with them. She knew because she checked her status on the networking sites. They followed each other. The sudden call from her husband startled her.

"Hmmm... Yes baby." she looked at him with inquiry.

"I know, you have a lot of secrets and you don't want to talk about it but can you tell me all about this when everything is okay? No matter what secret will you tell me, I will not waver. I just want to know the truth." he said solemnly.

"I will. Once this is over and Misha is safe. I will tell you everything." she swore. She thinks that maybe its the time that she confessed.

"Thank you." said Shane and hugged her.
