Chapter 139 - The Yearning of a Mother

Mich had one last wish that was burried deep in her heart and that is to see Belle again. The child that was once the source of her happiness and the cause of her grief over these period of years.

Before, she intended to accept the fact that Belle had long forgotten her and had a life on her own but seeing her in that kind situation made her heart ache for the woman.

She knew that Belle still had kindness in her and did not totally consumed by her hatred.

It seemed that the gods were favoring her now and saw the great grief she had when she was forced to give Belle up to the Yangs and granted her longest wish.

Misha told her that she would be bringing Belle over so they could talk and reconcile. When she heard the news, she couldn't help herself but let out a small whimper which caused Shane into distress.

"That's great... I'm glad she could visit us over... Okay.. I'll wait for your return and I'll cook a feast for you.. Sure...Sure... I'll be waiting then..." Mich couldn't help her tears from streaming down over her aged face.

Shane looked at the woman with complicated gaze. He knew that he should be forgiving but Belle tried to kill Misha and Lyndon. She tried to take his princess away from him and he could not be reconciled with just an apology.

Then he thought about the hardships Belle endured during the time when his father hunted her down and wanted her dead, his thoughts became muddled but the look of Michelle and the forgiving heart of his own daughter made him waver.

He didn't want to upset them but his own heart, he could not forgive Belle.

Mich noticed the fluctuations of Shane's feelings and guessed that he could not easily accept her daughter.

"I know what you're thinking and I'll respect whatever decision you make because I know how hard that is too but I hope that we could give Belle a chance to experience the warmth of a family..." Mich hugged his arms and acted like a spoil kid.

"I know... I'll not make her life difficult and I know that it's your wish to see her again. Don't worry..." Shane patted her hands and closed his eyes.

"Thank you.. This means alot to me..." Mich kissed his jawlines which ignited the fire in Shane's eyes.

"Let's make another Misha..." Shane playfully said and flipped Mich over and rained his kisses over to the woman.

"So shameless... I bet you can't handle extreme exercises anymore..." Mich giggled and accepted his advances openly.

"Let's see..." the yearning of Shane's eyes could be clearly seen and magnified through his actions. Michelle could only accept his advances because she wanted him too. It's been too long and she knew that only in his arms she could feel the care and respect she deserved as a woman. This man had complete her.

The next morning, Misha arrived with Lyndon in tow and Belle together with Mikhail followed. Michelle couldn't contain her excitement and yearning for her daughter.

She looked at the woman who's beautiful as a fairy entering her house. Michelle hugged her tightly the moment she entered the door, crying.

Belle was taken aback but returned the hug and patted Michelle's back while trying to be calm but the inner turmoil and the warmth she felt from her own mother served as a knife that cut through all her defenses.

"I'm home Mom..." Belle could not hold back her tears again. "I'm sorry Mom... I'm so sorry... Wahh!!"

Belle cried like a lost child in front of her mother and did not care about her image and face at all.

It was like she poured out her heart infront of these people without holding back because she knew, they're her family.

"It's good that you are back..." Mich said and smiled while she caressed Belle's hair and tried to calm herself down.
