As Liz viewed this scene that seemed like it was straight out of an action movie, she raised an eyebrow.

She had always known that Will kept himself fit and athletic with lean muscle covering his body, but she couldn't have expected that he would have professional training.

Yes, the way he had moved effortlessly told her that he was someone who had definitely received professional training for years in some form of offensive art.

From the speed with which he had moved, to the surety of his actions, she had to admit that she couldn't have done it better.

This was certainly high praise, especially as it was coming from someone whose bread, butter and life had once depended on those skills.

Also…she had to admit that this feeling of being 'saved', even though she didn't need it, felt really good.

Yup, it was pretty damn sweet, and if she were being completely honest, hot too.

After all, a man who was ready to show strength to protect something he valued would always seem very attractive to anyone.

Liz had always frowned on those moments in movies where the male protagonist had to come in riding on a white horse in order to save the 'damsel in distress'.

However, now, she could see its appeal, and she knew that she didn't mind at all.

From the moment Mr. Benson had left himself open like that, the fight was already over.

When he heard Will's ice-cold voice, he looked like he would get angry again, but the feeling of sharpness against his neck stopped him in his tracks.

So, he just said, "Your father-"

"Isn't in this room right now to vouch for you. I can also claim that its an accident. I even bet my father would be ecstatic to take over all of your businesses. He has said multiple times about how he admires the grip you have over numerous cities. Most important of all, you dared to speak ill of someone whom I consider closer than family. I have enough reasons to end this, right here and now. Give me one to stop. Just one."

With each word, the knife lowered little by little, until a small cut even appeared on his neck, making blood ooze down the side and drop on the floor.

Melissa was frozen stiff, as if she were seeing a ghost. She had never expected that she would see someone of the Benson family, who were known for being ferociously protective of their pride, in this state.

In fact, she was even half-convinced that she was dreaming, and that she might have fallen unconscious in the bathroom after being choked by Liz.

Liz, on the other hand, was very surprised by the seriousness in Will's voice.

He meant it. He meant every word.

That meant…that he really did consider her to be that close.

Any thought or emotion was almost always conveyed better by actions rather than words.

And with these actions, Will had once again conveyed just how much she meant to him.

Even if this man was clearly someone on the same status as his father, which meant that he would get into a lot of trouble for this, he had stepped forward and saved her the moment she was in danger.

She had to say: he had already more than redeemed himself for not telling her about the 'Circle' before.

At this moment, his expression of deadly seriousness seemed oh so cute and lovely, and she really felt like running up to him and hugging him right.

Of course, she did no such thing, but she couldn't control the glowing smile that came on her face.

At the same time, Melissa chose to turn and see how Liz was taking all this, so she was even more shocked when she saw Liz smiling so warmly at the sight of William threatening her husband, which made her think mistakenly that the sight of violence was exciting Liz.

Oh. My. God. She's a complete psycho! I have to stay away from her, no matter what!

This thought passed through Melissa's mind accompanied by a shudder of fear, and if Liz found out about this, she would definitely have laughed continuously for quite some time.

Hearing a slight whimpering sound, Melissa refocused her attention on the two men before realizing that it was her husband who had made the sound.

"I-I lost my temper. Let me go. I-I won't touch her. W-we will just leave, I promise. No one will ever hear of this. E-ever!"

Was…was that…fear on his face?!

Yes!

His whole body was shaking…and his crotch area even seemed to be wet!

He was terrified!

Was this the man whom she had been afraid of all these years?

Was he the one who had locked her into a cycle of life she thought she couldn't get out?

Melissa couldn't believe it. With wide open eyes, she stared, but she suddenly heard a whisper enter her ear from Liz, who happened to be right beside her.

"I know his type. They are strong when they think they are in control, but the moment they face a true threat, they whimper and whine. But they hold a grudge. Act as if you fainted. Just close your eyes and silently lay back on the wall. If you want to live, I suggest you do this, as if he knows that you saw him in this state, he will definitely kill you."

Melissa had to take a moment to understand, but when she did, she realized with horror that it was true.

He would definitely not let her live!

Mouthing 'Thank you' to Liz, Melissa followed her instructions and closed her eyes before leaning back, to make it look like she had fainted and fallen on the curved wall.

"Good. Elizabeth, let's go. We are leaving."

With a nod, Liz was at the door in a heartbeat, and Will followed after glaring at Mr. Benson one last time and saying, "You better follow what you said."

After that, as the knife clattered to the floor, he left the room, leaving behind an 'unconscious' female and a soiled man.

Without speaking, they boarded the limousine, and when Will met Liz's eyes, what he saw startled him.

He had thought that she might be hurt, or disapproving of him…but why did she look like she wanted to eat him up?

Without a word, Liz pushed Will's shoulder and made him fall on his back on the seat, before getting on top of him and covering his lips with hers.
