158 Will's Dream 1

When Liz walked downstairs after a few minutes, she saw that Will was waiting for her with his hands behind his back, and an enigmatic smile on his face.

Liz was about to say something to him, but she suddenly saw Keren peek out from behind him, which made her stop speaking.

Well, she would definitely have her revenge, but she was going to wait patiently and strike when the time was right to achieve the most effect.

'Whoa, whoa, evil mastermind! You 'liked' his revenge, didn't you? Why give off such an evil vibe now?'

As she heard her inner voice say this in her head, Liz couldn't help but look down suddenly, remembering just how…hot she had felt.

Still, gritting her teeth, she replied, 'Because Elizabeth Redmaine is not someone to just lie down and let this slide. He will 'like' my revenge, too, but it will be on another level.'

All kinds of plans, each one more raunchy than the one before appeared in her head, which almost made her blush with embarrassment.

Meanwhile, Will and Keren were staring at the varying expressions that kept flashing across Liz's face, wondering whether she was still very drowsy from waking up just now.

Losing her patience, Keren walked forward and shook Liz's shoulders before saying, "Hey ho, sleepyhead!"

This shake finally let Liz discard all of these thoughts. Blinking twice, she smiled before saying, "Good morning, Keren! How was the interrogation with Mama Dorota last night?"

Hearing this, Keren narrowed her eyes and frowned before saying, "I gave her some vague answers."

"Let her go fresh up, Keren. I have the whole day planned out. What will you be doing, by the way, since you're grounded by Mama Dorota?"

This made Keren frown even further, and she even felt like cursing under her breath, seeing how these two were ganging up against her.

However, Mama Dorota's ears were everywhere, so, swallowing them down and deciding that her time would definitely come, Keren replied, "A minor issue popped up in Europe. I came to say bye. I'm flying out in an hour, but I should be back in New York by the time you guys make it back there. You're flying out tomorrow, right?"

Leaving Liz's shoulders, Keren said this with her arms folded.

Liz had already known about this, as Will had mentioned it the day before, during their tour. It was Sunday, so they would be back for work on Monday.

Nodding, Will replied, "Have a safe flight."

Liz felt a little bad on seeing Keren's frown, but she remembered all the times this woman had smiled with satisfaction when she got the last word in.

Still, smiling wide, she said, "Happy journey. I'll miss you."

"No, you won't, at least, not today. Have fun, Liz. My brother told me what he has planned, and I wanted to tell you that he hasn't opened up like this with anyone since…for years. And you. You're finally talking to me normally, so there's no way you'll stop me from spending time with you! I'll see you in New York next week!"

While addressing Will, Keren used one finger to point at him while saying this in a serious voice.

This made Will just nod without saying anything, and as Liz watched, a pure smile of genuine happiness came on Keren's face.

Of course, Liz had noticed the way Keren had changed what she was saying. Clearly, she had almost been about to mention that ex of Will's that had destroyed him, but Liz decided not to ask, as she knew that Will would tell her about this when he felt that the time was right.

She had no intention whatsoever of rushing him to open up and tell her all his secrets, as she knew that this might only ruin their relationship. In some things, patience and trust were very, very important.

As Keren walked away, Will turned to Liz and said, "I'll see you downstairs in an hour and a half," before walking away, too.

Ah, so he didn't want to make it easy, huh?

Excited at the challenge, Liz started on the way to her room. It seemed that Will was going to send off Keren, as she could see him headed down the stairs.

After getting to her room and seeing that it was just 5:30 AM, Liz considered taking a nap, but decided against it as she didn't want to risk oversleeping.

Walking into the bathroom and seeing the expansive Jacuzzi, she decided to experience one for the first time in her life.

After filling it up with hot water and dropping in a bath bomb which made pink bubbles fill the oval tub, Liz got in and yelped when she felt jets of warm water hitting all of her body parts.

The yelp was followed by a deep sigh, as she immediately felt her muscles relaxing due to the hydrotherapy that all Jacuzzis were known for.

Time flew, and a half hour later, Liz reluctantly got out due to the alarm and got ready.

Wearing a casual off-shoulder yellow dress that showed off her angular shoulders, Liz reached downstairs and saw Will waiting for her.

He was dressed in a red shirt and jeans, which made it only the second outfit that she had seen him in that was different than his regular suits.

Seeing her come down the stairs, he seemed to have become frozen for a few seconds with his eyes on her.

It was only after she reached him that he finally came to his senses and said, "I've arranged brunch at a very scenic spot on the island. Here are some bagels for snacks. Let's go."

As he pushed the paper bag towards her and turned around, Liz amusedly took it and felt happy that her choice of dress had been perfect.

It slightly clung to her body, accentuating her curves, while leaving enough up to the imagination. Of course, the off shoulder style set off her upper body in a brilliant way, too.

After getting into the car, they didn't talk much as she was busy enjoying the gourmet-grade bagels which melted in her mouth, and Will was busy replying to some business emails.

It was only when the car stopped in an unremarkable spot in the forest that was cleared of trees did Will finally say "We're here," before climbing out the car.

His face had contained a weird expression: it was almost like that of someone who…was remembering something they had buried deep in their heart.

After Liz climbed out, she saw a wooden board with a few words carved on it.

"The Best Hotel in The World: By William and Keren."

As she stared at these words and wondered what they meant, Will was ordering the convoy to leave and position themselves at a spot from where they could stop any wild animals from entering this place. This spot did not allow them to see what Will and Liz were doing, but Will had a panic button on him which he could press to make them come immediately, in case they needed help.

After doing that, he reached Liz and said in a serious tone, "You said that it's time we got to know each other better. This…was my childhood dream. Until it got crushed by my father."
