Duan Xiuqi responded in an absentminded manner. “You can decide it as you please. I still have to return to the office to settle the matter about the withdrawal of Mo Yun’s endorsement. Uncle Li, please send Miss Yunrou back home.”

Uncle Li was the Tong Family’s driver.

Duan Xiuqi was rather surprised that Mo Yun had withdrawn his endorsement because due to this action, Mo Yun would have to compensate him under the contract.

Tong Yunrou knew that there were many people with the same name, but she had seen Bai Chu’s handwriting in the past and it was very unique. Therefore, she would never recognize it wrongly!

It was that woman’s signature for sure. Her intuition turned out to be accurate. Bai Chu had indeed returned!

Tong Yunrou became flustered and started trembling, holding the repayment letter in her hand.

Tong Qingyan came out of the room and saw Tong Yunrou’s strange expression. She said with a smile, “Aunt, don’t be frightened by this four hundred million claim. In the past, grandmother used to transfer three million to this person on account of their friendship. It was not an obligation. But now, she dares to chase us for payment. Does she honestly think that we are pushovers?”

While Tong Qingyan was speaking, a shy blush appeared on her pretty face and she said in a low voice, “The lawyers in the fourth young master’s company are so capable. Since she dared to blackmail us, we can sue her. We won’t lose.”

Tong Yunrou’s body suddenly staggered and she tightly gripped onto the repayment letter and murmured softly. “In the past, mother always transferred money to an account. So it was Bai Chu’s account?”

When she saw her niece nod in agreement, a trace of hatred flashed past Tong Qingyan’s eyes.
