Chapter 16 - Jemma Simmons

Su Zhan was not surprised by Skye's decision to help SHIELD. Skye was always the hero material, and it was really hard for her to ignore these kind of things. Second, this was a good opportunity for her to enter SHIELD. Only by going through their training programme and being kept under observation period can you enter SHIELD. But this was an opportunity to skip those.

Skye started the investigation with the equipment on the plane, and the agents there had to admit that her hacking skills were really powerful, especially with the support of such high-end equipment. Looking at Skye being busy, Su Zhan felt a bit bored.

"If you are bored, you can take a tour of the plane." Phil Coulson stood beside Su Zhan and whispered. He then pressed the device on his ear. "Jemma, come over if you are free."

After a while, Jemma, wearing a white lab coat, came over.

"Jemma if you can, take Su Zhan for a tour around the plane."

"Yea okay" Jemma nodded and moved and gestured towards Su Zhan to follow her.

"Sorry to bother you."

Su Zhan said, he was really interested in this plane, and it was technological marvel.

However, to try to get an vehicle like this was not easy at all. Maybe when his system upgrades and he can bring out the things from the other copy plane, then he can figure out how to build one or just steal one.

The characters of all the scientists on board is somewhat eccentric, Su Zhan observed while Jemma took him visit the plane. Unfortunately, whatever Scienctific and technological terms she said, Su Zhan couldn't understand one sentence. Looking at her, Su Zhan found her more interesting than the plane.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Su Zhan suddenly asked. Jemma snorted and then shook her head: "No, I just got out from college and I was recruited directly into this team. I didn't have the time and energy for a relationship when I was in school and college, so yes… I don't have a boyfriend. What about you? Skye, Is she your girlfriend?"

"Yeah." Su Zhan nodded.

"Sounds good!" Jemma said, and quickly changed the topic as she had some inhibitions about not having a relationship yet: "I have read about your information, you are quite mysterious, and seem to have special abilities, you have absorbed Extremis and there is no danger and side effects at all. It is very likely that your gene or body can suppress the side effects of the virus. If we can find out the cause, we can save a lot of people!"

"Those who have been modified and been self destructing are basically injected with the Centipede virus. The centipede virus was developed according to Extremis, so…"

The more excited she became, the more she noticed that Su Zhan was unmoved.

"I should know that you wouldn't want your secrets explored or be experimented on... Sorry just forget about what I said." Jemma apologized.

"Really? Do you really agree to give me your blood? What do you want in exchange?" Jemma excitedly asked.

"I want you…" Su Zhan stared at Jemma and said.

Jemma was stunned, he wants me? What does he mean?

"Well? I thought you were willing to pay any price for science and for those who are innocent dying by centipede virus!" Su Zhan shook his head in disappointment.

"If you really give me your blood to let me study… I… I can promise you to atleast give you the chance for being in a relationship with me in exchange for your help in my research!" Jane hesitated for a moment and said firmly.

Su Zhan was actually just kidding and teasing her. He didn't expect her to actually agree to such an absurd thing.

"Why? Just for my blood?" Su Zhan curiously asked.

"There are other reasons also." Jane said with her head down.

"What reasons?"

This answer made Su Zhan very surprised, is…..this is love at first sight? Although he knew that he was very attractive, even Black Widow herself admitted about him being charming, then Skye, both of them are into an relationship just weeks after meeting, now… Jemma was also attracted to him.

Do I still have a hidden charm attribute that I don't know about?

Looking at embarrassed and shy Jane, Su Zhan suddenly smiled and reached for her chin, so she couldn't help but raise her head, and look at him with her nervous, shy eyes, then Su Zhan closed the distance between them.

Jemma closed her eyes subconsciously and felt a feeling she had never experienced before. It seems to be a long time, but also seems to be just a moment.

Su Zhan let go of her lips and said with a smile : "Actually I was just teasing you, what I originally wanted to say is that I just want your… first kiss. However, your proposal made me very excited, so… I changed my mind, now I will just follow what you said and woo you. So, this will be a little secret between us!"

Jemma understood what he meant and nodded and said: "You can rest assured that I wont tell Skye about us. I… I don't know how I made such a bold, absurd move. I hope you don't feel wrong about me, I really am not a casual girl."

"Of course not!" Su Zhan was now pretty sure that Jemma is someone who pursued science single-mindedly with no male or female experience in relationsh.i.p.s.

"That's good… I… We should take this slowly." Jane said shyly.

"I will spend more time with you, now, please continue to show me this plane"
